How do I dye my hair blonde?

Ok, so currently my hair is like, light/medium brown.
I've tried dying it blonde before and it came out orange-ish. That was a couple years ago though.
And I don't remember what I used.
I heard you have to bleach it or something?

I tried dying it, it didn't come out blonde.
Looking for an alternative.

I would suggest bleaching it then letting its rest a day or two a not to completely fry it

Then do a deep condtioner after all of it

Doesn't the bleach turn it blonde?
What do you mean by fry it?

Bleach can turn it blonde but there moight be areas that didnt bleach as well but no worries those often look like highlights or arent that noticable


Fry as in kill as in it hardly holds moisture is frizzy breaks ungoldy easily stuff liek that

I would suggest a hot oil treatment (they are like 2 bucks at sallys)

best way to make sure it's done properly, is to go to a hairdresser. of course, we don't all have the money, so bleach then dye. both alone can make it go all blotchey or orange stripy or whatever. course, you'll have to take time. do one, then at least a week later do the other, otherwise you will fry your hair. in between wouldn't hurt to do a decent hot treatment or something either, and condition your hair ALOT. mhmm. good luck

I've been dying my hair since 4th grade....
and quite frankly - its fried and ruined. Its no longer has that straight asian shine.

Assuming that you bought hair dye to dye your hair blonde last time, and you probley didn't do it right, then mabye you should go to the hair dresser's..

dont dye it because my older sister died her hair soo many times that it is all deadish soo... i would consider not too, but if you relly wan tto then thast ur problem.. my sister by the way doesnt even look filipino anymore she looks like some strange alien from a different planet.. 0.0
