I was almost 11 when I got my first period. It happened in an airport! I was on vacation, on my way to Chicago with my mom and my sister. I was so embarrassed I didn't tell my mom for like two days, and didn't even tell my friends until about a year later. sweatdrop

mine started when i was 12.
it was christmas holidays, and my sisters kept teasing me about how i never had my period yet, & they kept saying " it would be so funny if you got your period before christmas. " -_-
the next day i was with my friend and she notice that there was a red stain on my pants, so i ran to the bathroom, i was scared, i didn't want to ever get my period.
i told my mom and she got all happy, shes like " you're growing up so fast " then started to cry. |:

ok so 11 mornin like you girls but on my second period it was embarrassing it was the speling bee and me ma friends and someguys were foolin around so i go to the bathroom there they r i tellmy friend and she told me i should see the doc cause i had it twice that month xd then i got a pad 4rm the nurses office and i went to the spelling bee everytime i sat bac down i felt it come out redface i kept thinkin my pants were all red i ended up second and very uncomfortable and yea my friend says oh i wish i had my period so i wont be left out and im like no you dont!

I had been a little moody, then one night I saw some blood on my panties. I went to my mom and was like, "Do you have a pad I can borrow?"
I didn't freak... it's not that big of a deal.

me and my mom took a trip to the mall. i decided to go on one of those randomly replaced massage chairs. shortly after going on it my stomach started hurting a lot and when i went to the bathroom i noticed all the blood. i didn't know what to do since i was only in the 5th grade so i waited to tell my mom in the car. ><;;

I think I was 13, and I felt kind of wet and gross.
I was like, "Ew... "
So I ran to the bathroom and we had no pads or anything so I was looking around and so I used tissue paper XD
I never told my mom.
When I got some money, I walked down the the store by myself and bought a bunch of random things and pads cause I found it embressing.
I never talk to my family about anything so last month, I finally went up to my mom and I said "Would you mind stopping by the store after work and picking up some tampons?"
(I'm 17 by the way, I always got things myself)
She said yes and nothing else was said.
I'm on the Depo Provera birth control needle now so I haven't gotten my period in awhile ++
I'm pretty happy about it.
I cannot handle the intense cramps I get.

I was 12 and it was 7th grade. My mom was yelling at me because we were gonna be late for my first track meet. I was like "WAIT MOM!, I GOTTA PEE." So I went into the bathroom and was like "oh s**t." and looked it the cabinet for a pad and there was none and i was like "mom, wheres the pads?" and she said we didnt have any, so we went to walgreens but luckily i didnt miss my race.

Mom was putting dinner stuff away, I had gone upstairs to put my present away and stopped at the bathroom because I had to pee really bad. Changed underwear brought it downstairs and put it on the counter. "Mom, did I get my period?" Dad and Brother walk past both. Dad "looks like it to me. Happy Hanukkah!" Mines happen after I got home from a long drive from my grandma's house. At first I thought I was just sick cause I get motion sickness and I when into the bathroom to throw up. Next thing I know I notice something red and began to freak out. (I thought I was dying cause no one told me about getting a period.) My cousin got my grandma and she told me what happen. Later my mom took me to a resturant to celebrate. My the end of the night everyone knew I got my period. D;
