That's ridiculous! Your professor seems like he could be a real hard-a**, so that's a bummer it's the only class option and you need it. You'll probably just need to figure out his quirks and 'play the game', so to speak. Figure out what they like and what they don't like, and then just don't piss them off and if anything be nice to them. Professors like that normally don't get treated well because many students don't like them, so if you're friendly they might grade you a bit better. Even when I've had awful professors that normally gets me by. Anyways, good luck with your classes!

My first week went much better than I thought. I'm getting good vibes from my classes and professors, so fingers crossed this will be a good semester!
