Sounds like you're one of those naturally thin people.
One of those? Dont you mean: "You sound like a normal person, as proportionatley speaking, its natural to be "thin" rather than fat.
Um...If being fat were unnatural, folks would have to actually put conscious effort into being so.
Like the effort it takes to have orchid purple lips. Nobody has that naturally. One has to put something on their lips or do something to their lips to make them that color.
Green eyelids are another example.
Obviously people aren't trying to be fat any harder than anyone tries to be Black or tries to be Gay. It's funny how fatphobes condemn fatness as unnatural or immoral while waving rainbow flags and saying racism is wrong.
You either can tolerate humanity, or you can't. Scientists have proven that most fat people are fat either because of physical issues or *unconscious* psychological issues that are usually related to a physical issue...and that skinny people have just as many issues that affect their health.
Skinny does not equal healthy, and fat does not equal unhealthy. Period.
Now, I understand that this is like trying to argue with a religious person about whether or not Jesus will heal their embarrassing skin rash, or snakes can drink milk on a certain day of the year, but sometimes I just have to speak up.
Nobody here is saying that people shouldn't think about their health at all. We're just saying that everybody should look at their health in a balanced context...that weight within certain limits, is not as big of an issue as obsessive assholes make it out to be.

Fat IS in the eye of the beholder
Yes, and in the majority of beholders eyes, being fat is not as preferable in any situations over being thin unless you are in danger of falling down wells due to occupational hazards, perhaps a well builder maybe? I dont know.
Gawd, here we go with the majority again.
I wonder how some people find the power button on their computers.
I mean...you seem to be literate. Did you actually read any recent literature on weight in relation to health?
Heh...no.

Finally, why should anyone WANT to be 'skinny' if they're fat? I mean, if you're fat and healthy, what's the deal? Love yourself for who you are and what you look like and damn anyone who says otherwise.
Because even if you eat "healthily", being fat is not as healthy as being thin, unless you happen to be stuck in a famine, in which case then it becomes healthier to have been fat since you have better energy reserves, however being fat in a famine also opens you up as a food source, so its somewhat of a double edged sword.
I'd say you have a stick shoved someplace to worry about more than other people's swords.

Thin > Fat when it comes to health, no questions.
Well, if you're an obsessive who might slice your wrists if you were to somehow look unfashionable, then yeah, being skinnier might be healthier for you. Bleeding to death would be a more immediately mortal thing than gaining weight.
...but it's not for everyone.
