My fiance and I have been engaged for over 2 years now (it'll be 3 this January). He proposed to me only after 6 months of dating (4 of which he was in Italy...) when I was 18. Everybody was really incredulous about it, said it wouldn't last and all that sorta stuff, but now we showed 'em wrong! We're planning on getting married after I graduate college in 2010 when I'm 21.

Congrats! I don't get why people have to inject their opinions, it's not their lives, they don't need to try to live them!

Same here. I don't see why people can't let others make their own choices and or mistakes. I understand giving advice to people but to put down is just too much.

Aw, that is cute. He proposed to me in the bed after a heart to heart about that event. His exact words were, "if I don't ask you this now I will explode, Lauren you are the most understanding person I have met. I love you so much will you marry me?" We were both crying a river. smile

It's good that you'll always have that emotional memory. It's also good that he's not afraid to cry. I've only seen Michael cry once. Damn men! D:<

At first he was crying thinking I was going to leave once he told me then the tears turned into happiness because I said I will always be here to matter what. ((he didn't cheat it was something that happen to him as a kid))

Poor guy. =/ At least it turned into happy tears. It's good that he doesn't cheat, that's like, the biggest betrayal of trust. D:

I know funny thing is I use to be a cheater never slept around but I dated other guys with my last one. With the last guy marriage was like NO WAY NEVER NO WEDDING FOR ME!! But with this one I wanted to settle down I want to be with him I want to marry him. I want a piece of paper to say I am married to him. I know the phrase once a cheater always a cheater, but with the last guy I felt an emptiness but with my fiance I fill so complete I could bust into a trillion pieces. Actually with my fiance I actually don't notice others. I kind of feel I am walking around in a fanasty with just me and him. Because of that I bump into alot of people when in stores lol!

I don't believe that once a cheater always a cheater bullshit. People have the capacity to change, and they may or may not.

Are cigarettes a drug?? Hmm never thought about it. I do marijuana but I have never been high in public or during the day. I do it at night and I stay home. I refuse to go anywhere high.

It did! While teens or anyone gets engaged for stupid reasons than no I don't support them but if they are truly in love and are mature about it and have a way to live than yes it is fine by me.

Off the top of my head I don't believe a guy should marry a girl just because he got her knocked up. Like that shouldn't be his first or only reason to marry her. It is will or usually wind up in divorce.

I am not sure what qualifies a drug as a drug. :/ I think if it is a stimulant or a depressant it is a drug idk really.
