Is suicide selfish?
No, I think it's one of the hardest decisions one would ever have to make.
If you're hungry, you eat.
If you're thirsty, you drink.
If you're tired, you sleep.
If you see no reason to live, you die.
I think that if you're so dead feeling on the inside, it's selfish of the people around you to expect you to stick around for them, unhappy.
That is exactly how I feel. You eat and drink to have strength to study, to study and create yourself a better future; but if you lack the will to create a better future, then you really don't care about the future.
Lets face it, how many of us are actually concerned about the future? The past is tormenting for some and the present proves challenging enough. "Do I hang out with my these friends or should I show my Cousins around town?" or "Maybe one smoke isn't so bad, then again..." Etc Etc.
I find myself running into more and more people who would rather choose to live just for the day as if each one could be their last, then those who've "planned" it out and expect to die in the future.
If I learned anything, fate throws monkey wrenches at you to screw up everything, no matter how far and how well you plan things out.
