My dad: I really don't like him all that much, I know he is buying lots of things so I can build my monsterous computer, but... He has a really bad drinking problem and even if he is sober, he starts fight and it gets really tiring. My mom says that it's a huge mistake to even marry him. She is in her mid 50's now. :/ . Anyways, my dad never cleans around the house, he makes his friends do it because he has a beer belly and he says that it's just too much for him. He is an alcoholic in denial, it puts lots of stress on me because of him. When I was in my pre-teen and I would listen to rock music such as Rammstein, Marilyn Manson, Linkin Park, Evanescence... He would get very mad at me and said that he would force me to listen to country. He doesn't want ANY of his daughters to date black guys at all, even if they are nice, gentle ones. He is a total hypocrite with food. When I get dinner out of the fridge, he is like. "Oh? Is that your 6th meal of the day?" ....It was my 3rd. I hardly eat... Mostly because of him taunting me. He has a huge plate of everything that he wants to eat. He is hardly even home to see how much I eat.

My mom: I get along with her more than my dad. I always side with her, make jokes with her but she does get paranoid alot.... I have anxiety disorder so when I try telling her about my problems, she tells me to shut up and that she doesn't want to hear about it. I am always stuck in the house, I dunno how to drive yet, I am only 18 and been 18 since June 10th. :/ She also promised to take me to Norway and she kept saying that she would, and then weeks later out of the blues she says. "Oh! I am taking your sister instead! Haha!"
When I get pissed and go in my room, she follows me, when I tell her that I want to be alone, to have my alone time. She declines and tries talking to me. I tell her everything like with my problems I try telling her, she goes in denial about it. If I am typing my problems on the computer, she reads over my shoulder just because I am on her computer, if I am asking for penpals on Interpals.net, she yells at me saying. "No! They can use our address and come over here and rape you, and kill us off!" ...And she says that I am unrealistic... >__>; I don't have very much friends so I just talk to people from different countries...She has a problem with it. I am 18, don't I have my own choice?

Ahh... I weight only 206 pounds I am 5'8", my mom reacts to my weight like I am morbid obese... I fit in size 16 pants. Close enough to happy size 14, she wears the same pants size.

My mom plays the martyr a lot.
She acts like people are attacking her when they really aren't, sometimes, and it annoys me. Like she'll act like I didn't do the dishes as a personal stab against her instead of me being forgetful.

My dad likes to blame everything on my mom, which is probably why she thinks we're all attacking her. Like, she went to college for 4 years while he worked at a job which required him to travel a lot, so he never really saw us. But, the degree she was going for's requirements changed as she was finishing up, and she got screwed, so she basically has to take what she can get now. My dad likes to pretend she lied about her degree, and any time anything goes wrong he throws the fact that he had to travel in her face.

Right now my sister is going through that "I'm 13 and I'm trying to rebel" phase, so it drives them crazy. Meanwhile I'm doing amazing in school, and all summer I worked my a** off so they didn't have to spend as much money on me while I'm in college. They really don't have very many beefs with me because my sister causes so much trouble.

We used to constantly fight then would get along fine for a few days; then fight for months again.
I tried to quit smoking and asked her to stop smoking in the house and she was all "this is my house I can smoke here if I want too"; then when she tried to quit smoking I smoked in the house constantly and she got mad at me.. Looking back on it now; we were pretty immature with each other.
I used to always go stay with my grandmother every few months just so we wouldn't kill each other.
Then when we moved away from family we had to try to deal with our issues; I ended up being away from the house for weeks. Finally I packed my crap and moved out when I was 17.
Now that we don't live together we get along so great! It's amazing. =D

they try to be all religious but they have the biggest anger issues every and act like they are so perfect and better than everybody else and that the world revolves around them.

I don't really have any problems with my mom. She's supportive.....even with me liking some gothic stuff like skulls. (She thinks it's just a stage.) So she got me a skull and angel wings necklace for making all A's for a school term. I have a lot of freedom, just as long as she knows where I'm at when I go somewhere.

As for my biological dad....I don't know who he is. My mom never got married. .....and I don't really care. One less parent to tell me what to do. ^_^

My dad is a former priest, thusly very religious.
He relates EVERYTHING to religion, and acts like I'm going to hell a fair amount of the time.
My parents judge everyone. Including me, and all my friends.
They are very overreactive and jump to conclusions,
and tend to misrepresent me to one another.

I suppose I'm the cliche, rebellious preacher's daughter xD
It's hard not to be...

My parents love me though, and I love them as well.
They're just hard to get along with xP
