Shima Shinji
I was a loser the first two years of high school, trying to be all original, and then grew up and now everybody likes me.
My scenario exactly. From 7th grade to freshman year I was one of the kids who though being the stereotypical 'cool' kid was lame, and that being the polar opposite made me unique.
Then my friends from that crowd all left and I had to make new friends. By sophmore year I had new friends from all different aspects of life, and I pretty much learned that hating on people for being liked was retarded, and that you make your own judgements of people, not everyone else judging you.
Now I'm actually pretty popular, to my surprise. But it's a nice kind of popular, like "Hey, there's Jaz, 'sup girl?!" rather than "Lol you should have heard what she did the other night." - which is what you normally hear about the kids who think they are OMG supercool.
