Did you ever want to be one of the cool kids? Did you want everyone in your class look at you with admiration, to adore the very ground you walked on? What would you do to get there?

Or are you indifferent to the idea of popularity? I think that one good friend is worth a thousand doting fans. And honestly, I didn't notice the "cool kids" until about halfway through my junior year. They weren't complete jerks at my school. They were pretty ok for the most part. But, to me they were just another group of friends, ya know?

To be cool, to be geeky, to be an outcast, and all those in between, what were you? And if you could, would you do it all over again?

I was a loser the first two years of high school, trying to be all original, and then grew up and now everybody likes me.

I would rather be one of the hot kids.

Everyone wants to be cool. The people are just like "I don't want to be cool." are just non-conformists who think that non-conformity will make them cool.

I've never gone to a school with that whole "popularity, cool crowd, food chain" s**t in play.
It's always just been me with the self-proclaimed "Freak Club" and then the posers who cut themselves with paper forks, then the whores who think they're cute, then the dicks who think they're hot, and then the braniac kids that everybody liked.

Being the "freakish nerd" (a title I always managed to gain) actually brings more friends (not to be confused with popularity) than people expect, at least where I'm from.
I wouldn't do it over again, though. There were still those dumb little sluts with their nasty, nails-on-a-chalkboard voice who talked and talked AND TALKED. >_<
I actually wrote several poems last year, about how I wanted to murder the dumb whores, and left them in the respective b***h's locker.

=3 I was not their favorite person.

I'm still in highschool.
I've never been a cool kid honestly.
The cool kids in my grade/school are usually assholes.
I'm just a person who talks to anyone no matter what little "clique" their in.

I am the LD's unescapeable fate.
Wife Movement, learn it, love it, deal with it.
i feel that popularity is over rated. i guess i used to be what one would consider 'popular' in high school. sure it was nice; the parties, the compliments, the friends. i'm not going to lie; i loved the attention. xD

but everyone so boring and gossiped all the time. and they were fake. they would never fist fight; just whine in the corner and spread rumors. but then i got into anime and...well, yeah. anime didn't really sit well with them.

but i don't regret it. (:
i have funny friends now XD

I didn't care if I was the "cool kid" in high school. I was there to learn, not party.

I had friends from every different "clique" so it didn't matter much to me. If you were nice to me, I was nice to you. smile

Being "cool" wasn't really my concern in high school. I had friends from many different social circles, but I learned in primary school that "cool" and "popular" are just social constructs that didn't have to affect me.

Well s**t. I haven't noticed "the cool kids" being bitches. In fact when i hear that some kid is being made fun of and called names in front of them....i don't believe it. I mean i bet it happens, but never have i seen it.

who are the cool kids?

I just talk to people i think are attractive or have a great personality.

That is pretty much what I've experienced, too... but with pretentious and/or flamboyant
theater types along with those. I guess those were the cool kids... maybe? -shrug-

I didn't even start noticing social spheres at all until I changed schools my junior year, either,
because my first school was soooo huge that it was pretty difficult for people to connect that
way. o,o Or it could have just been me, I was sort of out of touch with reality back then. (eh heh)

being cool in school was the least of my concerns. Everyone was a jerk and far too sure of themselves; Why would I want to be even respected by these people?
But now I'm the cool one, in my own little way, and I get all the respect I want whilst those kids back in school are chubby as fcuk!
<3
