Cats. I love how loving and playful they are, yet they act as an independent, like I do. When they need their space, they let you know. lol

I'm passionate about both but I think I would choose dogs. Aside from the exception to the rule, cats typically don't like to travel, go for walks, or welcome new people into the home. Dogs, again aside from the exception, love car rides and running outside and (especially ours) loves going to visit family (she gets super excited when the car gets two streets away from gramma's house). Dogs are just easier to incorporate into family activities and outings.

I adore both cats and dogs.

But cats don't like me, or don't want to hang around me for more than five seconds. I like picking up and holding and playing with my pets (that aren't in a bird cage or in a fish tank) and cats hate it when I try. Meanwhile, I can glomp my dogs and they wouldn't care, unless they're vicious, blind, 13 years old, and resemble old grumpy men in both looks and personality (poor dog; he used to be a lively and playful cutie before he got old).

I like dogs too. But I would rather have a cat. Easier to take care of. They don't always need attention. You don't have to exercise them. They look cuter to me. And they are smaller and are easy in apartments.

Cats. I don't mind dogs, but I prefer cats. They're easier to take care of, and in my opinion, they're more entertaining. At least the cats I've had. They're a lot more independent than dogs, yet they can still be loving. They can also be very intelligent. I've been raised with cats all my life, and I've never had a dog, so I don't know much about raising a dog. I've watched other people's dogs though, and, although they were fun, I don't think I could own one. Also, dog smell is one of the only animal smells that make me feel sick.

Well I have both. A dog and two cats (not to mention my guinea pig)
I like 'em both.
But recently my smallest kitty has been peeing everywhere. Apperantly he forgot where his litter box is.
So I'd rather have my dog in the house right now whee
