(No this is not one of those 'omg i liek him but he dun ntice me' threads.)
All right...
Where to start...
So I started high school this year as a sophomore. (my district has three year high school.) Most of the people there went to a certain middle school that I didn't go to, so I don't know most of the people there. On my first day of school, I found that an old coworker of mine (I was a janitor last year, it really sucked) is in one of my classes and both of my lunches (cuz we have A and B days) I had a huge crush on him while we were working together, but now it's kind of died down and I mostly like him as a friend. We'll call this guy C in future referances.
In another class I made friends with another guy who I'll call J. We hit it off, he's really easy to talk to, and we share very similar interests.
To make a long story short, J developed a huge crush on me.
Back to C. He's been paying a lot of attention to me lately, and a few days ago he asked me when my 16th birthday was.
Time out to let me explain: I belong to a religion where dating is discouraged before 16. Me and J and C are all of this religion, so none of us are going to date until then. So asking when my 16th birthday is is almost the equivelent of asking me out on a date.
So I'm sure J likes me, and I think that C does too, which puts me in an awkward situation. Because I don't know if I like either or both of them back. I love them both as friends and I'd hate for a misunderstanding (e.g. me thinking i like one of them without it really being so) to stop friendship. Any advice about how to know which one to choose (if that situation arises) or on how to act around them until then?
