Koh Phangan, Thailand. Hands down.

Reason why, please? biggrin

It's beautiful, easy to get around, and there's a massive party once a month with a slightly smaller party also once a month.

Ever heard of the Full Moon Parties?

I mean, you don't have to live ON the island or anything. Most places in Thailand are pretty spectacular and there's a sizable expat community from all the major primarily English-speaking nations there. Except perhaps Canada. Not sure if there's much of a presence from their side. Plenty of Irish/British pubs tho, and Americans+Australians+a few New Zealanders.

Ohh. Sounds like fun.
I haven't heard of the Full Moon Party..But I shall research it.

It seems like a peaceful country too, actually. Very laid back, I'd say.

Oh Canada is too cold. >.<

we're not a frozen waste land, we have places that don't even get snow, so it's not that cold stare

Oh I know whee But right now, I'm freezing my bum off in PA. hahahaa.

Dapper Conversationalist

I'm partial to Vancouver if you can afford it. Or maybe Portland or San Fran?

The full moon party is basically a huge beach rave.

As for peacefulness, they've had some troubles with political instability lately, but it's still a pretty safe country if you keep your wits about you and don't, y'know, wander off into the forests at nighttime with a Thai man you've never previously met or anything.

Oh dear. gonk Then again, you can get situations like that anywhere in the world. Silly creepers.

HUGE BEACH RAVE?
I've been wanting to dance lately... to club music. I have a ton, and nothing to do with it.
Perhaps, I should go to Thailand.

Norway.

Why so, mind I ask?

Because it's a low-crime nation.
And it's pretty.

Neat. If only I could move OUT of the country...

Norway has good music too, usually. biggrin

Oh.
Well, I'm not American but I'd definitely like to live in Boston or New York.

New York, City? My mother was born there. biggrin Family still lives there, so we visit, but not that often.
I haven't been to Boston, but my father has. He said they have really good seafood there. biggrin
...And Hockey is fun to watch...if you're into that.

I wanna go to Boston because it seems like a nice place to chill around.
Same for NYC.

-BURRR.
-Maine is still cold for my tastes.. But speaking of tastes. I heard lobster fest up there is AHmazing!
(that's if you like eatin' the lil critter)
- Australia is beautiful, I heard from a friend. The spiders I could def. do without.
-Ireland? The Irish in me is screaming GO HOME YE LASS. haha
I'd try to bring a pet snake, and they'd kick me off the plane... hahaha.

Ireland (heard it's nice.)

If you can stomach the 15+% unemployment rate and mass emigration out of the country, then yeah. It's a nice place. Beautiful scenery and great air/beer.

Reminds me of home, IMHO. gonk

I don't know how Boston is, personally...
But You can't "chillax" easily. In NYC ... Everyone is always rushing. There's always construction (Especially near ground zero and the new station being placed) and... not to mention, traffic.
DO NOT circle the UN building by accident though.. Haha. Just saying..

Boston would probably be the best place to get a bottle of booze and kick back and listen to the stories of bar regulars. Seems more... Close knitted.
