Gay pride parades make absolutely no sense...you don't see Bestiality Pride Parades, do you?! It's a sexual preference, NOONE NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR LOVE LIFE.

I don't know about you, but I'd sure be proud of myself if I overcame social pressure to suppress myself.

Aside from pride parades, I really don't ever see homosexuals "flaunting their homosexuality". And I go to a school with a large gay/lesbian/bisexual population. I'm starting to think that people only complain about flaunters right off the bat because that is the trait (and those are the people) they are willing to pay the most attention to.

Hah, I like you biggrin ! On matters of Pride parades, I find that people don't understand that they are not guys half naked touching each other, but a celebrations of all the civil rights achievements that the GLBTQ community has accomplished. Civil rights that were always granted to straight people...

Funny how everyone always deem bestiality a peer to homosexuality.

I really hate it when people presume America is the only place on Earth where people who aren't straight/male/female, (taking into consideration genderqueers and trans. people,) aren't tolerated all to well.

Trust me, if you walked down the street and showed outward signs of being homosexual where I live, you'd be tackled to the floor and either beaten up or set fire to. England and, in fact, most of the countries in Europe, aren't the all accepting utopia's Americans and other foreigners seem to think they are.

Up until about 30 or 40 years ago, it was illegal for a man to have sex with another man in the UK. Up until the 1960's, men, (and to a lesser extent, women,) were still hung for being homosexual.

America isn't the only backward country in the world, y'know.
