not all christians are anti-homosexuality.
not all christians are anti-abortion.
not all christians try to convert everyone they meet.
not all christians are republicans.
not all christians hate, especially since it's a religion based on love.
and i know i'm only defending one group of people, and there are stereotypes for so many different religions and groups.
so what stereotpyes get stuck in your craw?
which do you hear the most and think are wrong?
which ones do you hear about you, and your lifestyle?
which stereotypes get stuck in your craw and piss you off?
the point of this is, that no matter what the stereotype, it is wrong, because everyone is individual and different.
all stereotyping is, is the cognitive processing in the brain making shortcuts between what is known, therefore making generalizations, in order to make the quickest possible assessment of the people or things around the person.
it's natural, but is NEVER correct.
lets take a stand against generalizations.
