I hate baby pageants. Children shouldn't be wearing pounds of makeup and getting fake tans at a young age. Unless the child wants to, not because their parents force them to. I think the lunatic mothers are the worst. {proof}

I'd probably only let my kid complete if she asks (I'd personally prefer a son). And, if it's a glamour one she wants to do, I'll at least try and handmake the outfits and use as little make-up as possible, or use what's proven the least harmful. Then again, pagaents aren't really something I'd be interested in encouraging *shrugs*. We'll see.
