If the title didn't change, I resolved the issue. Thanks though!

Go to the police now instead of waiting? If you've saved all the messages from her, print them off and use them as proof.

When I reported her for harassment, Facebook deleted her messages to me and put her on my ignore list.

So I can't do that...

I still have her text messages on my phone but I doubt that will be enough.

They probably are enough, especially if she's still texting you.

She hasn't been texting me because my mom blocked her number on her phone plan...she has me on her phone plan because it's a lot cheaper to do that than for me to have my own.

The police here know how she is because of how many times they have been to my house because of her behavior. This was before she moved. I wonder if I can go explain to them what's going on and see about getting at least a permanent restraining/no contact order. Even though I don't have an address...

You don't worry about the address. The police can take care of not having contact. The contact is about YOU. And you update it as you go along and have a new residency planned out. The important thing is getting the document procured. Because that is going to take at least 2-3 months. And this harassment may continue. And the way their father treated you, get one against him as well. Just to be on the safe side.

I meant for her. I don't have a mailing address for her because she didn't tell anyone what it was. All I know is she lives in Madisonville, Kentucky.

I'll get one against her dad after I find a place of my own. Doing so while living with my mom would be pointless.

Oh that is even easier, as long as you know first and last name and the city and state. And have a picture to work with. The rest is on the police. Let them handle it. Trust me on that. blaugh They will take care of everything. That's what the police are all about.
Well, you shouldn't have bothered her about not graduating. And just because she promised your sister that she would graduate before your sister died doesn't mean she has to keep that promise.

Uh...So lets get this straight..you wanted to fact check by.....asking other people? Why didnt you just GO to your sister? So it sounds like you were making the rumour worse by asking it around, and then you brought in dead sisters. So you got her angry. She decided to try to get you angry back.

THen somehow you are angry at her still for talking about the dead sister YOU brought up in the first place?

What you need to do is to drop it. Stop bringing up dead people. Stop confronting or talking about so and so to someone else. just STOP.
Your mistake was that you asked around, instead of going directly to the source. You should have asked your sister if she had dropped out, not other people. Now, your sister has to deal with outsiders confronting her about supposedly dropping out of high school and breaking a promise to a dead sibling. Of course she is going to be angry and take it out on you.

However, everything after that is on her. SHE needs to act like an adult and quit unblocking you so she can send threatening and insulting messages, then re-blocking you again. That is childish. She needs to grow up and own up to her actions. If she dropped out of high school and broke a promise, then she needs to admit that to herself and accept the consequences of that decision.

YOU on the other hand need to ignore her and her father. For the most part, that has been taken care of. She's blocked on Facebook so she can't send you any more messages. Keep it that way. Even if other family members or friends try to tell you that you should work this out, keep her on that blocked list. The same goes for the phone number.

Keep the text messages on your phone. They can be used as evidence in getting a anti-harassment or restraining order. You don't have to know her exact address. The police will handle that. You just need to present the evidence that she has been harassing you, that you've been threatened with violence, and the rest will be handled by an investigator.

1) Moral of the story is next time ask the person directly.
By asking others about it you are unintentionally spreading rumors about the person.

2) Be the mature person by apologizing to her about what you did and ask her kindly to stop harassing you because she's already done more than enough on her revenge. Since she is clearly immature to move on so you have to be the adult in this.

If she doesn't stop after that then erase her completely off every contact list you have and block her on everything.
As her father suggested in a sexist way you're a man so be a man and just ignore it by blocking and deleting her completely.
Now if shes hunting you down and going past that extent then I would inform the police with the evidence for a restraining order.
But I have a feeling you're exaggerating and that its just emails, facebook ims and text messages which you can block and erase her contact info on. (Police won't act if its just those because you can block them)

Soooo.... You went and decided to be confrontational about her choice, and tried to guilt trip her by bringing up your dead sister, and then decided to get mad at her when she brought it up because she made a personal choice.

Holy s**t get over it. That is your sibling, drop the horse s**t and talk to her when you get the chance or delete message she sends you because you basically started this.
Grow up.

Well here's my thing. The only reason I didn't ask her was because she had me blocked on Facebook and I didn't have a way to get a hold of her otherwise.

I actually talked to a friend of mine on the local police about the whole situation and she said there isn't enough evidence since Facebook erased the stuff she sent to me after I reported her for harassment. BUT she said if she continues after this whole mess (and make it very clear that I will do this if she doesn't stop) to go to the police.

Which is what most people here are telling me.

Thanks for the help!
