It'd probably take too long for your dad to take any real action so when you go to school, go tell your counselor about whats been going on at home. School counselors are trained to listen to kids and to know what to do when they are facing major problems at home or at school. Your brother should really look into basic manners. How old is he anyway? Tell your Dad to take action right now. Be serious about it. If he says forget it, tell your Mom or another person who has the authority to help you from the name-calling.

I think you should take your dad's advice and just keep ignoring him. You could tell your dad about him asking you to do said things, he might take that into consideration and your brother could be in trouble. I think you should stay firm to what you want to do. Don't give in. Fight back with your brother if you want.

I totally agree. If you don't want to take matters into your own hands, inform some other authority figure, such as your mother, or a teacher or councellor.

If he keeps harrassing you, then you just keep complaining, eventually, some one will go "What the hell He's still doing this?" and jump in. Don't ever back down either. Your father's advice is good; ignore him, but, if he thinks it's just name calling, then inform him that it isn't. Good luck.
