How does it take someone seven years to realise that cancer has the potential to kill you?

atleast u know that she might die .. when my godfather died ( loved him like a parent) we were swimming in one of the gyms swimming pools and then he suddenly had a heart attack.. he kept floating , i was calling his name, the private swim teacher came over , called 911. we went over to the hospital, my family came. i was heatbroken when they told me he died... it happened so suddenly. oh, i have cancer but i guess i got off easy, they only had to shop off the tip of my pinky

i guess for advice just go along your normal life. when it happens, if it happens, you'll get over it, no matter what never do suicide , its not worth it

You find away to spend as much time with her possible. Especially if you're thinking that she isn't going to last very long.

Good christ. I don't mean to sound bitchy, but that shouldn't be a question..

My mother has cancer too but it's not breast, it's colo-rectal, they're getting ready to surgery on her for the first time friday. But the point is, she hasn't had it that long. but I've been spending almost every day with her. And that's what you should be doing too, and if not every day as much as you can spare.

If that makes you feel guilty, I'm sorry. But it's the truth.



And anyways. I'm really sorry that she's so sick.

Breast cancer is one of the most survivable cancers out there and usually when someone is diagnosed too late, it's generally the woman's fault for not checking her breasts.

ok my main problem with breast cancer is that it is the only one that is commercialized with all the
'breast cancer cookies' 'breast cancer umbrellas' really there are more deadly cancers
really ladies losing ur chest is not as aweful as losing a leg or life... yea urs is dieing but most only lose the ches or get chemo
