W-ell, it's possible you only think you'll be really happy if you have her because you see the happiness she has with someone else and because you like her a lot, too. But let's draw the line here. You may really like her and really want to go out with her, but if you actually really love her you would want her to be happy. So far it sounds like all your emo-ness, and panting after her is just making her feel confused and sad, and her boyfriend sounds like a great guy.
She may be having second thoughts, but those are most likely transient (most relationships will hit a bump at about 6 months), but he sounds committed to keeping her because of how he feels about her. Plus you've also said you really are an emo person and she said she can't like you as emo. Well if this is who you really are, and she doesn't like your real self, this doesn't sound like a match made in heaven. If you want to wait, wait, but it will just make you feel worse and her dislike you more because you're staying all mopey. Most people like to be around other normal, happy people. If you move on but not get serious, then you're keeping options open for if she's ever available again and she'll maybe prefer your new attitude. PS - And harry089 stop repeatedly posting irrelevant "hi"s in this thread unless you have something to contribute. |
