He seems interested in me and he says he really likes me, but then in person he's all quiet and doesn't say s**t?
I asked him if he was shy but he said no, and he also hangs with my brother more than he hangs with me when he comes over to our house.

He doesn't say hello to me either when he sees me - just kinda stares at me awkwardly.

Is this typical for guys?
I just don't understand if he really likes me or is just trying to ******** me over... confused

he could just be cautious. He probably does like you, but because being friends with your brother, he probably doesn't want any trouble with your family when he's with you.

Well, it's been like 12 days so I don't expect extreme development in our relationship just yet, but I honestly don't feel like his girlfriend at all.
I invited him to hang out with my friend a day ago and he said he didn't want to, that he'd be too "shy" around her, yet is not shy with me and has hardly known me for 2 weeks!!


I'm just very confused about his intentions.
When I asked him about it, his "excuse" was that we don't see each other often.

And technically that's true, but even when we do see each other, he doesn't say much s**t...

Have you asked him why he does what he does? You can tell him you noticed it and it's not what you're used to and are seeking to understand his perspective. After all, you've known him twelve days... I think talking and asking questions to get to know one another is highly appropriate, eh?
