i believe that sexual desire factors into what they want (but maybe that really is all they want) but it is not the only thing they seek. it all depends on the person, you can't generalize especially when it comes to things like this.

I don't think it should be abolished, although the point of it has greatly change. It is not necessary, however it does give a greater reassurance of commitment. I mean come on, many guys and girls just want to "hit it and quit it". So one person will get screwed while the other could careless. Now if someone wants to marry you, then that is a promise to be with you until death. (although I know there is divorce and infidelity but if two people are truly in love then marriage has a point)

I won't deny you what you state, for that is not why I bother typing this, but rather, come to deny just that little percentage. It is not 90%, luckily, for it is merely 85%. 5% of them are dead inside and couldn't care less, but most mindless include them in that because of how they act, and about 10% of us are perhaps, if I may say, Gentlemen.

I'd be concerned if a boyfriend didn't want sex, because I certainly do! There's other parts of a relationship, but sex comes along with it.

A lot of younger girls posting on this thread are really uptight. There's nothing perverted about sex, it's natural. It's alright to say you are not ready, but acknowledge that not everyone is willing to wait. And it's not just men who want sex. Seriously, women are JUST as bad.

Just one thing i wanted to point out. I didn't mean this thread to sound like a stereotypical statement...even though it kinda is. sorry about that.

So basically from all the responses the answer to my question is:
No, or Yes or Partially right.

The people who said NO: guys are not about that, and they just want to be in the girl's company and they use there real heads in situations (no pun intended)

People who said YES: some reasons for this were that guys all they want is sex and they never think about the girls feeling and commitment and marriage should be abolished because of that.

People who said PARTIALLY: Yeah they think about it, but it depends on how cute/pretty you are. another example would be sure they want it but its not all they want.
