Welcome to Gaia! ::

This has been bothering me for a few days, i was leaving my gf's house sunday night and she told me her biggest fear was dieing and that she didn't want to leave high school because of it. She just went into her senior year and she told me she felt old. She doesn't have any diseases or snything like that. Is there anything i can do to help her get over this? it's really tearing at me. Cuz i've accepted death as a part of life, it happens to everyone. please i don't know what to do.
tell her that youll be right there with her through the year. i am a senior and it is nothing to worry about in fact she should look forward to college
Just tell your friend that everyone has to die, and that it is the way life is. And that god does not want death to be a scary thing, your supposed to be excited because you will be going to a wonderful place. 3nodding

yeah so did i, we're a year apart but i got into college a year early, I did tell her that and i hug her whenever i can, but she's had it hard with high school drama and at home problems the past few years, it's just one of those weird phobias
I myself had the same fear for a long time, and still do every once in a while. There's really nothing you can do except make sure she's happy, which I'm sure you're already doing. This kind of thing is just an issue with acceptance. It probably wouldn't hurt to talk to her about some of your thoughts on death though, seeing as you have no issues with it, but the best cure for her is time.

Good Luck.
