Welcome to Gaia! ::

A week after your missed period is plenty of time to get a reliable positive. And false positive are usually chemical pregnancies, where the egg fertilized but did not implant properly, and therefore did not develop, causing small amounts of HCG to produce, but ending in a period within a week or 2. There is not such thing as a false positive from taking it too early as you won't get a positive unless you are producing HCG.

I'd get a test in a week or two, to be iron-clad certain. And/or a doctor's appointment for a blood test in addition to that.
It's possible. The pull-out method really isn't that great because even precum has some sperm in it, definitely if he came again and didn't pee before then. So........ if you're not pregnant, take this as a lesson and use some other form of protection--like birth control and/or condoms.
You can take a test the day after your missed period and it will be accurate. If you're scared you're getting a false negative than take more than one.

the pull out method works something like u-80 of the time.. so it's very possible for you to be pregnant.

I've seen quite a few people get false positives because it was too early, so I've decided to wait a bit.

False positives? No, that's sooooooooo rare. You're more likely to get a false negative. If its positive, its positive. I took 6 tests and I was still in denial. I also thought that the blob on my first ultrasound was just a massive tumor. But tumors dont have heartbeats.
^ listen to these people
And next time in the future whether you end up having a baby or not, DO NOT try the withdrawal method EVER again. I can guarantee you that you will end up being pregnant.
If you do find out you are not pregnant, do not take that advantage by continuing that method because he can still release precum which contains some sperm and you WILL get pregnant.
My cousin did the withdrawal method with her bf , and of course, she ended up being pregnant within a year.
Use a Condom if you don't like birth control pills.
Though, it's best to use both the condom and the pill at the same time.

One time I thought I was pregnant because I missed two weeks of my period, and that made me and my bf super worried. We even used condoms!!!!! I thought the condom magically failed on us because it did not rip, it did not have a small hole, and he did not leave it inside me so long after he came. So I was like WTF!!!!! XC I took 4 prego tests which all came out negative, but my period still wouldn't come so I was gonna wait another week to get a blood test. Fortunately, my period came before I was going to take the blood test. HUGE pregnancy scare! I learned my lesson and so did my bf. Point is, be very careful. Whatever method you use, you CAN possibly get pregnant still. Using both a condom and a pill at the same time is 99.9% safe.

You are best to just take a test now. It has been enough time for it to show, AND you missed a period. That is enough 'signs' to worry and take it. IF you are worrried about fdalse posistives, go to a doc and get a blood test.
I'm kind of in the same position as you are right now, but not entirely under the same circumstances.

My nipples are tender, I feel bloated and I tend to go to the toilet too much from my normal habits and smells are starting to get to me.

I'm not entirely sure if I felt any of these within the first few weeks, but I don't remember much from that far back, these are the symptoms I'm getting at what would be two months.

Wait, did I read that right?

He came on your back, and you're worried about being pregnant?

The placement isn't what I'm worried about. My knowledge of the way his body works, it takes more than two tugs to...well, drain him. Once it starts, it's about 6 tugs before he's done, yet he only took two, and he looked terrified, and said he was 'pretty sure' he pulled out on time.

Ohh, that makes more sense. Sorry, that just confused me a bit there. Ignore me.

As for advice I think a test is the best idea, like Fizzlesticks said. Sorry, not very helpful, I know.

No, no, I totally understand how it could be confusing.
Multiple of the same helpful response are better than a useless response.

You've missed a period; you can take a pregnancy test. That would solve it. There are no other symptoms this early on.

I'm sure I don't need to nag you about the withdrawal method. If you don't want to get pregnant any time soon, use a [more effective] secondary method, like condoms or hormonal BC.

Pregnancy isn't an issue for me at all. It's not perfect timing but it's not the end of the world. It had worked for a while, but accidents happen. My experience with birth control was awful and instead of regulating my period, it made it wonky as all hell, off for three months, on for two straight.

I was just hoping I'd know before I knew.

I have a fairly regular menstrual cycle, and I have since 5th grade. It should have come about a week ago. And yet, it still hasn't. My boyfriend and I practice the pull out method, where if he feels he's getting close to his climax, even a bit, he pulls out and I give him oral sex until he ejaculates. It usually takes about two minutes.

However, I have no idea what got into him about two and a half weeks ago, but we had insane, crazy, totally-different than usual sex, and he literally pulled out, gave himself two quick tugs and came on the small of my back. He claims he pulled out with perfect timing.

I am going to purchase a pregnancy test in a couple of weeks if my period doesn't show up, but I'm wondering if anyone knows what symptoms to look for this early on, or what the likelihood is of me being pregnant based on what I said.
