Female Problem (Christians Please)

First off I'm a 19 year old guy (turning 20 soon)

Now I'm going to bible college at the end of August. Going down to the states (I'm from Canada EH). My Mom was really pushing that I get a girlfriend when I'm at school. Problem is there aren't many girls that signed up (school basically sent an email to everyone saying "boys are full we need more girls" wink .

I really want to find a Christian girl and get married before I'm 25, and there is this girl at my church that I kind of like. I think she likes me too because when I got baptized she looked at me differently and started to talk to me. I am very shy (people don't think I am thought...) and can't ask her out. Here is the problem with her. She is going to Philippians for Mission work with our church. She is leaving next week and I might not be able to get time off work to see her. The day I leave for school is the exact day she comes back sad .

So LI what do I do? Do I try to get a girl at school who would be surround by many other guys probably looking for girlfriends or do I go for the girl I like 5 or 11 months from now? (5 months cause I get 1 month break from school 11 months is when I finish school)

Why don't you try both? Look for a girl at college, but also keep in contact with the girl from back home.

It's rather rude to only ask for help from "your own kind". There are plenty of yahoo groups for this kind of thing, please take your ignorance there.

They only reason I wanted Christians to give me advice because lots of us believe that God will provide you a spouse and I wanted to see If others can see If she is the one for me or not cause of my emotional input I'm blind to it right now.

Dont set a date in stone for when you have to be married, or you may try to 'settle' on someone just to meet that age. For that girl, try to get contact information so you keep in touch, but dont stick to her if there isnt anythign happening between you two. They have churches in the US, so look for other that you might want to date.

And open-mindedness helped me despise religion (not God, just religion) because of people like you. I know what Christians believe, you really don't have to tell me,. But God wont provide for you if your not open to anything other than what you believe. Maybe God doesn't have a Christian spouse in-store for you? Crazy, I know.

Thanks totally forgot about going to church lol. maybe I'll find someone there wink . I'll try to keep in touch with her but she is like never on msn (if she goes on msn when im at school does it mean she might like me?) and hopefully they will have internet where i'm going.

I wouldn't start up a ldr, because, speaking from expierence, they suck. Just stay as friends for now, and see if the spark is still there when you see her next.
