Yeah, it's really sad when people judge you just because you're different. And it's especially hurtful when someone you care about acts this way. I hope that you and your mom can sort things out. I know I would be extremely upset if my mom acted that way when I was going through an already difficult transition. Best of luck!

Keep in mind your parents may just be in shock.
I have quite a few friends who are gay and bisexual and when they told their parents- they freaked out. They told them they were just confused and didn't believe them and such. However now, their parents fully support them. At first these sorts of things can be difficult to process. But over time, their opinions can change. They're your parents, you are their child. They will love you unconditionally, they just need time.

And you are extremely brave for posting this on Gaia. (more than half of the gaians are rude pricks who think they're funny.) And also to tell your friends, and to have the guts to tell others. I wish you the best of luck, and I do hope your parents eventually turn around.

well, hopefully they will one day support me. a counseler could help them understand better. and yes i have already gotten some hate responses from a few gaians
