i've heard that before to live like a woman first. i will try it but i first need to actually move out of the house. the only reason i don't get a place of my own now that i'm graduated from high school is because of the gas prices, cost of housing, the drought we have this year. everything is so expensive here. as for groups, i need to research to see if there are any nearby.

Do you live in or near a bigger city? They tend to have underground groups and nightclub circuits you can go to.

As for moving out, do you have any friends your could room with?

i'm not gay though.
So if you're a female on the inside and you like girls, then are you a lesbian?
i just said my sexual orientation in my first post so people wouldn't get the wrong idea. i didn't want it to become the main topic. plz stick to the topic. this is a hard time for me and i need mental support.
if i was a chick, i would, like, make out with other chicks
once again, off topic. plz stay on topic, i mean it
You are just wierd

it's because of people like you that people like me are not accepted in our society. it's emotionally painful to be an outcast and some people actually physically assault outcasts just because we're different. why can't the world be more acceptable with everyone and let everyone be who they are? it's not fair.
i dont know enough about anything to give good advice...but i think it is super brave of you to come to this type of venue and be proud of who you are. so good for you. i have no trouble believeing that you will make it thorugh any situation that comes your way.

Keep in mind your parents may just be in shock.
I have quite a few friends who are gay and bisexual and when they told their parents- they freaked out. They told them they were just confused and didn't believe them and such. However now, their parents fully support them. At first these sorts of things can be difficult to process. But over time, their opinions can change. They're your parents, you are their child. They will love you unconditionally, they just need time.

And you are extremely brave for posting this on Gaia. (more than half of the gaians are rude pricks who think they're funny.) And also to tell your friends, and to have the guts to tell others. I wish you the best of luck, and I do hope your parents eventually turn around.
