Today my mom is making me do school work. And she said I am done at 6 pm. Why does she do this? Its saturday, Summer Vacation, and Fourth of July.. Wtf is her problem?

No. I am 15 and supposed to be in middle school but I do online High school and already have some credits.. and I am on pace on my classes and work on school about 49 hours a week!

But they hardly take an hour and hardly worth discussing.
Its just a bit of work...get offline and get it done! >:O

Not all moms.

There are some out there who actually don't give a s**t about their child's education.

Not saying that mine is. When I was a kid, after I was finished with my homework, she'd slide some educational books under my nose. Math, English, Reading and Writing books. For at least 2 hours every night, including weekends. And wherever we went, be it shopping or doctor appointments, those books came with us.

I hated those books with a Passion.. The fact that they had Disney characters on them doesn't really help make a kid want to do them! D<

if your homeschooled, i think that would be normal (not totally sure, never been homeschooled =P)

however, if your not, i think she just may have some issues...

honestly, im not compleatly sure; you said yourself that your up to date with all of your classes and everything...

does she know that your taking online highschool classes?

she might just think that shes helping you "get smarter" because your 15 and in middle school... but i still cant say for sure.

if your homeschooled, i think that would be normal (not totally sure, never been homeschooled =P)

however, if your not, i think she just may have some issues...

I dropped out of middle school on febuary , friday the 13th. ironic? very.
Then she signed me up for 7 classes.

wow harsh, to be honest when i started 5th grade my parents never made me do any homework, I always did it the same day i was suppose to hand it, and i always had someone do my homework for me all the way till last year of high school.

So in conclusion no. Not all mothers are like that.
My mom could careless what i do as long as i dont go below 75% or 2.75 gpa.

i do homework by choice. truthfully i get it done as soon as i come home from school, exceptt on fridays. probably why i have a 4.0......but i have a problem with studying for tests...even though i know everything.
