Advice on breaking the ice?

Theres a boy I've known for a while now, we've talked off and on over the last year and we saw eachother a few times. We resently started talking again and I spent Halloween with him. I had a lot of fun, and he says he did too. I'm pretty sure I like him, the only problem I think we might have is that we are both shy. I dont have a problem making the first move really, I just kind of like to have some idea how the persons going to respond, and hes very hard to read. We have a lot in common, but with him its pretty down deep if you know what I mean... He isnt up frount with it at all.

I think he likes me, or at least is maybe interested because when I slept next to him there was touching, but it was nice touching, not trying to start sexual things touching.

I guess I'd like any advice you can think of.

It already sounds like things are moving nicely. Try not to rush it, especially if he's shy. Just let him build up his courage, as hard as it might be. :3 He'll make the moves.
