You'll have to pay for each attempt at crafting the item regardless of the crafting chance. However, since I'm level 10 anything below level 9 is usually a success on the first try (even very low chance formulas).

For formulas levels 9 and 10 the success rates are as follows:

Level 9
Very High: 1.1 Attempts (94% Success Rate)
High: 1.1 Attempts (92% Success Rate)
Medium: 1.5 Attempts (68% Success Rate)
Low: (N/A not enough data)
Very Low: 1.7 Attempts (57% Success Rate)

Level 10
Very High: 1.1 Attempts (89% Success Rate)
High: 1.5 Attempts (68% Success Rate)
Medium: 1.9 Attempts (52% Success Rate)
Low: 3.6 Attempts (28% Success Rate)
Very Low: 11.6 Attempts (9% Success Rate)

Im still a little confused. Let's say I want to craft a level 10 formula with the success rate beeing Medium. It costs 120k to craft. How much you the total be? :pudin:

That would cost 120k times the number of attempts needed to succeed.
There's no way of knowing how many times that would be but from the charts you can see that medium level 10 formulas have about 52% success rate, so most likely it'll take 2 attempts, but it might succeed on the first attempt and it can take more than 2 attempts.

For this reason I have the option of crafing "live" so to speak, so you can see the actual crafting being done and how many attempts are needed.

Level two. I've started collecting the pieces of the level three and some of the more hard to get pieces, such as the fish (only I just realized I got the diamond fish and not the ruby.... scream ). No wonder these are a pain in the a**.

Yeah, some things are a bit difficult to get hold of.

Btw, you didn't start crafting the formula did you? (It becomes soulbound if you do)
