I don't really get why any level tens want to craft for free anyway..? I mean, even if you do get exp, it doesn't lead anywhere as far as I know. Maybe I'm missing something.

There is no point in crafting for free other then being kind to the user requesting your services.
At level 10 you get exp for the first 10 level 10 formulas, after that you just get a message that you maxed out your exp and level for now. rofl
