Suggestion: Let people listen to their own ipod/iphone music

I love the Monster Galaxy music, but sometimes I really want to listen to my own ipod music. But when I open the app on my ipod touch I have to listen to the Monster Galaxy music or nothing at all. Sometimes I avoid the game completely because I want to keep listening to a good song.

I was just thinking that it would be a great feature if, when the music and sound volume were turned all the way down, iPod music could keep playing. It's definitely possible. A lot of other apps have that feature.

Just a suggestion for the Developers. Still love the game!

I agree! I'd love to be able to listen to my own music or audio book while I'm playing.

I didn't even think about audio books, but that would be good too. It's nice to do something while listening, and Monster Galaxy would be a great app for that. So.... just have to wait until a developer sees this thread, has time to build it, and releases the update biggrin

Oooh, really want to agree on this. I tend to have music going when I'm on my iPhone, and it's always distracting when I open MG:ZI and it kills my music.

Almost all the other games I have on my iPod Touch allow me to keep listening to my music or audio book without a problem. Some will ask me if I want to keep listening to my own music, others will just automatically keep playing what I'm already listening to. Very few games I have force me to listening to the music in the game.

Well, Angry Birds, Fling, any Sims ipod game (I have Sims Ambitions specifically), Nyan Cat in Space (yes, that exists), and some others.

Looking through my ipod again it seems like there are a few other games I have that turn off my music too. But, if it's possible, I would still suggest adding this feature.

I'm drawing a blank on specifics right now (except Fruit Ninja) but yes, there are many games that allow you to play your own music during gameplay. This is probably the change I want to see most in the game biggrin
