Dead Ahead (Betty or Vera?)

Dead Ahead is a survival/ Endless runner in which you play as character on a Mo-ped
Later on you rank up and earn more weapons and bikes.
Several characters are available to unlock but do take much time to do so.
In app purchases aren't needed to unlock more locations unless you do purchase coins

If anyone plays this game should i purchase Betty or Vera?
I've heard Betty's powers were nurfed in the current update
