Welcome to Gaia! ::

"I'm alive...If that's what you mean..." Paige replied in a properly pained and dejected tone of voice. Head still spinning from the fall and uncertain whether she would be able to hold down her lunch she looked about. Men, lots of men, lots of cute...And mildly strange, men. And the void was gone, stars filling in the large domed window around them instead of the terrible darkness.

"No animal people, pity...But a land of women!" Paige tensed, wide eyes looking up at Undertaker as one of his nails poked at her breast.

"Wha- hey! Get off!" Stumbling to her feet as best she could in the tiny cabin Paige squeezed herself behind Darien, who didn't seem to be doing any better. Staring at the redhead that was playing with his hair the young woman's eyes couldn't deviate from the shark-like grin.

"It's wearing pants. How vulgar." William frowned as he looked Paige up and down, squished into one cornor and still looking thoroughly ruffled despite having fixed his hair already. He turned his attention from the woman to her companion, pausing, eyes widening, and instantly launching himself forward to tug Grell away. Not that it did much good, there was no where to get away too in the ship. But William was content to ignore that, summoning his scythe to shove a tip at Darien's neck, the blunt end of his weapon going into Undertaker's back, he ignored the shinigami's objection.

"You! A demon, I assume you're to blame for this!?"

Darien cast a glare at the dark haired man now pointing a weapon at him. He was none too pleased the stranger had discovered his secret, and even less pleased that the man was now threatening his life. The demon raised a hand gripping the strange weapon and staring down the pole to the one wielding it.

“You insult my intelligence. If I were the one behind this, I would undoubtedly have secured a far safer position for myself. Considering I was nearly killed, the likelihood of my involvement is minimal at best. Don’t you agree, Death God?” Honestly he was overly surprised to find out what kinds of beings currently surrounded them. It was only after the weapon had been drawn he had recognized it.

“Demon?” Grell blinked, hands on William’s shoulders as he leaned up to look over at the newcomers with interest. He had expected it to be a couple of humans. Well, at least the girl was human.
Demon's, Death God's? Confused and still dazed from the fall Paige waivered where she stood, moving away from Darien and the weapon there was little that the young woman could do as her arm was taken ahold of.

"My my my, always forget how frail humans are, about to pass out, hmmm?" Staring up at the silver haired man that had tugged her into his lap Paige did not know what to say. Ask to be released, struggle, but she could do neither, "Here, you can drive." The ship lurched as the man picked up the woman under the arms as one might a child. Placing her in the seat and urging her to take the controls before he made his way over to the pair of shinigami and their new visitor.

"Now now, we rescued them, cannot kill them now William." Placing his own hand on the weapon Undertaker gave a tight squeeze until the weapon vanished, grinning at the pissed expression he recieved from William. Pushing his way between the shinigami to face the demon Undertaker scooped up one of Darien's hands in both of us, "Welcome! Our first other-worldly rescuees! Pleasure to meet you, please, sit down, put your feet up, relax!...Perhaps not put your feet up, so cramped...But that mouse was so much smaller than us." Undertaker sighed, pulling away again, it really was far too tiny.

Darien stared blankly at the strange, silver haired man. He was uncertain what to make of the little trio, one seemed dangerous, and the other two were just strange. At least they had been rescued, even if it was by a bunch of strange shinigami. Darien sighed, pulling his hands free as he scanned the cabin. “Very well, I am to assume you are from another world then? Hopefully, you know more about what is happening than I do.” He was going to say ‘we’ but he knew for a fact Paige knew nothing.

“Oh! Does that mean we get to keep them?” Grell moved excitedly over to Undertaker, grinning with his hands clasped in front of him as if asking to keep a puppy.

“Absolutely not. Once this situation is explained you can kindly take us somewhere safe until I have things sorted…” The demon sighed, raking a hand through his hair, “What a bother, all for a soul. And it seems…all the records, the mansion, everything was lost. This makes things rather difficult.”

“Aw~ but don’t you want to save the world? We have the means to do so. And you never know when the world you land it might disappear! I think the only thing that can defeat those monsters is the keyblade anyway.” Grell moved closer to William, wrapping his arm around the other man’s and leaning against his shoulder. “It’ll be fun.”
"Keep!?" craning her head back to look to the one who had spoken Paige could not watch the going-ons for very long. The ship lurched and she forced her attention back to the task at hand, nervously steering around the first of many brightly colored rocks that began to appear.

"And I don't think that beings from one world can stay on another..." Undertaker tapped his lips, leaning against the back of the chair that Paige currently on, "Trouble trouble trouble...Ah, no matter!" his grin returned, "We can find the mouse and ask, if worse comes to worst we'll just find another void and chuck you in, yes? Equal out the balance and what not."

"We will throw them into a void now!" William struggled to pull his arm away from Grell with a quiet 'let go of me!' "I will not be in such quarters with a demon. It will not be fun, and it will not be happening."

“Aw, Will! Don’t be such a kill-joy!” Grell slipped his hands over his waist and looked up with disappointment clear on his features. “You’re never going to learn anything about what’s happening if you kill off all the survivors. Come on, that is isn’t very heroic.” The redhead flitted to the demon’s side, tugging him to one of the chairs and practically forcing him to sit down as the excitable man sat next to him. “You’re going to tell me all about your world, aren’t you?”

“No.” Darien sighed, attempting to stand before the ship lurched and he was pushed back into the seat. His eyes widened slightly as he looked uncertainly over at Paige as she steered the strange…ship.

“Not a good idea~” Grell shook his head and wagged his finger, hands moving quicker than the demon’s and fastening the seatbelt. His hands lingered a moment longer and a smirk appeared on his lips. “You should stay still and enjoy the ride.” He tightened the seatbelt with a wink. “And tell me your name, since we’re going to be shipmates. Travelers? Adventurers?” he giggled, “How exciting. I’m Grell Sutcliff. That’s Miss, or Grell. And you are~?” He leaned his arms on the arm rest of the chair and looked up expectantly.

Not amused.” Darien tried to ignore the redhead, instead focusing on figuring out how to undo the seatbelt. He seemed as keen on the idea of staying as William was. Frankly he felt every passing moment was one less moment of sanity he had. Mouses and disappearing worlds? Keyblades and strange ships? What on earth was going on?
Practically growling as Grell took his time buckling the demon in the shinigami's golden eyes narrowed in his lover's direction, "He can sit there and sit quietly I'm certain." he muttered, not wanting to hear any details about the demon's life. As far as he was concerned he could have been crushed in the strange piece of scrap metal with everyone else. At least he assumed others had been within it.

"Yes yes, names!" Undertaker clasped his hands together, "You all know our lovely Miss Sutcliff." he gestured to Grell, "His ah...Partner in crime here, William." Giggling at his choice of words he tapped the top of the shinigami's perfectly coiffed head, not at all detered as he was slapped away, "And I am Undertaker. Your resident ah...Undertaker. And we're off to save the world! Ah, worlds, as it were." Plopping himself down in one of the few free seats Undertaker crossed his legs, cupping his knee with laced fingers.

"Make yourself at home, really now, nowhere to go."

"Ah- this- we have-"

"This button dear." Undertaker leaned over, pushing one of the side buttons on the steering mechanism to shoot out a duo of white lasers. The shell-shocked woman spasmed, but, having deemed the entire event a dream, fell into using the button along with the wheel, breaking up the extra rocks that appeared in their way.

"Perfect! We have a navigator." he gestured to Paige, "A story-teller" Darien, "Comedic relief." William.

"Quit playing around Undertaker!"

“Charmed.” Darien replied curtly, though he was hardly interested and certainly not charmed to meet the newcomers. No, technically they were the newcomers but in any case…he did not want the headache that would inevitably come from sharing a ship with the trio.

“I suppose there is no choice. For the time being…” the demon sighed, “My name is Darien. Though I am not from the world that was destroyed, I was merely there as a means to serve a certain family. That woman there, Paige…is the last remaining heir of said family. Unfortunately, this does not matter in the least now I suppose. Souls and contracts are worthless at this time.”

“Ohhh she doesn’t look all that special.” Grell looked curiously over at Paige as she nervously tried to navigate the ship. He sighed, flipping over in the chair so that his legs were crossed neatly over one arm rest and his hair was spilling over the other. He stretched, arms over his head and moving close to the annoyed demon. “Do women really wear such strange clothing where you come from? How strange! No corsets, no fishnets…what fun is that? How much further to our next destination, Undertaker~?”
"Wha- hey!" Paige turned to look at Grell, eyes wide and a blush on her features, "Well at least my mouth doesn't look like something on the bottom of a leech!"Pouting and looking back to the passengers again the young woman's eyes narrowed at Darien, "What the hell are you talking abou-"

"Eyes on road young lady." Lips puckered as her cheeks were grabbed by the silver haired shinigami Paige was forced to look back at what she was doing. Just in time too as more rocks filled their path. Laughing and tapping his lip with a knowing smile Undertaker looked back to their motley crew, grin growing even further as William attempted to tug Grell back into the seat closest to him.

"I am not the navigator, I don't know where we're going."

"What!?" Both Paige and William spoke up, the two of them glaring at Undertaker and then each other before dismissing the issue. Silence.

"Well there's something up ahead." Paige muttered as one of the asteroids did not hurtle towards them, instead remaining put. A large mass of sand and clay houses was what it appeared to be, along with a strange rippling effect in the air around it as if to signify where the world actually began.

“Oh, well if it’s not moving find out what it is~” Grell was smiling but inwardly deciding to find the girl’s full name so he could successfully write her name down on the Death List for such a rude remark. He didn’t have to wait long however, whether the girl had done it on purpose or they had just been sucked in by the world…they were heading straight for the strange realm—and fast. If anyone had been sitting before they would have been now as the gummi ship sped towards the world, past the stars and into the atmosphere, and towards what seemed to be a giant desert.

“Do you…do you know how to land this?” Darien had glanced from the silver haired man to Paige, starting to feel this was an increasingly bad idea. Out of one crashing ship and into another it seemed.
"Eh~?"

"Eh!?" Paige glanced away from the upcoming mounds of sand, to the one known as Undertaker, and even back to Darien, "Eh!?" she unhelpfully questioned again, leaning away before the silver haired man got ahold of her face again. Of her own accord she looked back to where they were going, "Video game videogamevideogamevideogame."

"Video game?" William questioned before sighing, with a shake of his hand forcing Grell to sit properly in his seat and buckle him in. The shinigami was incredibly grateful that he could not, in fact, die again. But that did not make him keen on the idea of crashing from such a height.

"Video game." Paige muttered again, a little more steadily as she glanced over the various buttons infront of her. With some quick examination it was easy enough to find what served as a toggle for the speed and slowly, very slowly, she brought down their acceleration as she lowered the vehicle. It was a very good thing that they were surrounded by sand. And it was an extremely good thing the ship was so flexible.

Coming to a rattling halt half atop and half within a huge mound of sand outside of a set of enormous walls made of clay the ships engine finally came to a stop. Paige felt sick. Agian.

"Wonderful!" Even though he looked rattled as well Undertaker rose to his feet and pressed the button to open up the dome again. Letting in fresh, searing hot, air, "I knew having a navigator would come in handy." Said navigator was currently thrown over the steering mechanism trying to reassure herself that she was dreaming.

Alive, they were alive…the ship was in one piece and once the sand settled and the dust cloud cleared it was clear they had landed where they were aiming for.

“Oh well that was fun. But really…does it have to be a desert? I don’t see anything happening anywhere!” Grell sighed, undoing the belt and moving to the window with a frown. There was a city in the distance, but it was mostly desert and as soon as the door was opened…it was hot. Grell whined, pulling at the bow of his shirt to loosen it and debating leaving his jacket behind. It likely wouldn’t be needed.

“That is hardly the first adjective I would choose.” Darien slipped free from the restraints almost relieved to be on ground again. “We should head out then, My Lady.” He wasn’t sure how long he planned on following the strange group but he certainly wasn’t going to let Paige out of his sights.

“Oh oh, wait~” Grell followed as well, moving to hop out of the ship and into the desert sands below. “Oh I bet heels are going to be hell in this…kind of…” He trailed off midsentence as he was reaching to remove the heels only to discover they had been replaced with rather pretty silken flat shoes. Flats. He paused, confusion crossing his features. That was until he noticed the sheer fabric over his arms. And it was then he noticed it wasn’t as hot anymore. He blinked. Green eyes widened as he gave an experimental pull to the fabric. It was really there. A bright red outfit covered in beads and coins, sheer and draping.
Forcing her eyes open Paige flashed a glare up at Darien, not at all amused with his nickname-using games by that point. Land, she wanted land. Even if it was hot and sandy and all around horrid she wanted it. Moving away from the butler who got her into the entire mess Paige kept her eyes on the goal, slipping ungracefully from the gummi ship and falling to her hands and knees on the ground. The ship was taller than she had thought.

Ringing.

Frowning at the tiny sound of bells Paige took in a few grateful breaths, happy that the temperature decided to suddenly drop. But when a hot breeze touched her abdomen it didn't seem to be the environment that changed. Glancing to the side to the suddenly less than covered redhead the young woman's eyes widened appreciatively. Uncertain whether she was jealous or attracted she stumbled to her feet, the ringing continuing as she did so. Looking at her own clothes Paige quickly became a red that rivaled Grell's outfit. Legs visible beneith a sheer navy blue cloth, ankles and wrists adored with small silver bells, a band about her chest the only covering she was graced with and tied around her neck.

"What the hell!?"

"How disgraceful." Frowning at the woman's exposed form William's eyes drifted from the blue outfit to the red, eyes widening and skin paling, "Sutcliff!? What the hell do you think you're doing!?" Summoning his scythe and using it to help himself get out and onto the stable ground. He experienced the same sudden change in temperature, expensive leather shoes replaced with sandles, pants becoming light and airy, shirt gone. He was not pleased. Staring down at his bare and scarred chest William shook with rage, he preferred to leave his shirt on while even 'dealing with' Grell. He hurried back to the vehicle as Undertaker made his way out, trying to get ahold of Grell's jacket for coverage. But as soon as it was lifted out of the gummi ship it became nothing more than a red wrap.

“…More magic?” Darien stared in confusion as the group was suddenly changed into different outfits. He wondered where his own clothing had gone—and far preferred it to the current attire. The warm sun beat down less savagely on the exposed skin at least, though the lack of shirt was rather disconcerting. He sighed, raking a hand through his hair and debating returning to the ship. But he would rather look foolish than remain in that tiny, cramped space.

“Oh! Well at least it’s red, eh William?” The redhead gave an experimental twirl, sheer fabric slipping over the curves of his legs and just briefly exposing the silken undergarments. It was incredibly revealing. The beads gave a gentle clinking against one another as he turned to the dark haired man who looked incredibly uncomfortable. “And practical!” He nodded with determination, moving excitedly to the man’s side. “Think of how much attention we’d attract in our old clothes. And it’s too hot for that anyway. Maybe this is the world telling us to blend in?” The man giggled, reaching over to take the man’s hand whether he wanted to or not and pointing towards the city.
"The color helps the situation very little Sutcliff!" William tossed the sheer wrap to the redhead as it would do him no good. Blend in!? He should rip that ship apart for putting him through such humiliation! First tossing him about within it, then being the savior to an otherworldly demon, and finally, stripping him of his clothes! Turning to Undertaker with a frown as the man was covered from the neck down in a thick black wrap William's eyes zeroed in on the long mass of cloth that served as some sort of substitute for his hat. Authority over him or not William did not care, he took the extra fabric from the shinigami's head and used it as a cover over his shoulders. It hid his chest at least, though the arms were still more or less a problem.

Paige's eyes didn't know where to settle. Again her attention was drawn to Grell and his flamboyant display, but then, her eyes went quickly enough to the startling scars on the most stubborn of their ship mates, and finally to the pristine and well toned chest of the one who got her into the whole mess. As many points as being sexy granted Darien he was still in the hole after the incident on the plane.

"Wonderful!" Laughing as he looked himself over Undertaker did not appear phased by the loss of his 'hat', "Far too much attention, Sutcliff is right, now we can blend in and see what is going on, on this world."

"Blend in...Right..." Paige muttered with a roll of her eyes, having very little believe that a trio like the shinigami would blend in anywhere, costume change or not. And given the heat of the area and the pack of pale visitors they would stand out no matter what they tried.

"No comment from the navigator, hmmm~?" Wincing as a black nail found her cheek Paige swatted the man away.

"I am not a navigator!" Even in the flats it was difficult to manage the sand, but the young woman did what she could to hurry behind Darien, using him as a half naked wall between her and the others.

"Undertaker, please be serious...For once..." William pushed his glasses back into place, already feeling himself wilt under the heat. He hated high temperatures with a passion.

"Of course I'm being serious William!" he laughed, "She landed the ship, she is the navigator!" the silver haired shinigami began to wander off towards the distant city as he spoke, ignoring the less than convinced expression on William's features.

"Land...Of course."
