Welcome to Gaia! ::

Jarred opened the door to the girls bathroom, his hair messed up and his skin still a bit damp from washing their little assignation from his skin. He had put back on his shirt with a little help of the lady behind him in the bathroom, plus his pants didn't seem to want to stay on with her near. He just kind of dressed hurriedly since it was kind of hard for him NOT to think of her in such a fashion as they were before. He shivered slightly, rearranging his pants to hide the fact he was still slightly excited. "Now I know why most sex comes with being high. MUCH better...." He muttered to himself, zipping up his pants and fixing his shirt.
Jumaris giggled as she watched him exit the bathroom. She ran her manicured nails through her sleek pink hair. He was so cute when he was uncomfortable. She looked at her reflection in the foggy mirrors, leaning over the sink as she refined the lip gloss around her lips. Her gray eyes glistened in the flickering lights as she cheerfully hummed to herself. She didn't care to think about their journey to come. No need. She didn't have much clothes. The shoes she'd miss the most, but hey, rich Jarred over there could buy her some more...right? Well, she wasn't going to assume. Just hope. Who knew, maybe after a fun time like that, she could bend him any way she wanted. Men were usually that way...
"Watch your step, hun, the floor's kinda slick..." she called after Jarred.
Jarred rolled his eyes. "Yeah, I had noticed that." He said simply, stepping away from the doorway and standing against the wall beside the girls bathroom door. "So yea. Might need to hurry up there. We need to go shopping, after all." He commented dryly. Despite having an absolute amazing time, he didn't intend to bend over for this lady like she did for him just a few minutes ago. No, he'd not get whipped into this.
Jumaris leaned back to a straight position, sighing with irritation. Men were so impatient. Even after a good roll in the hay they couldn't seem to stop complaining about one thing or another. She licked her lips, taking one last glance in the mirror before striding towards him.
"Shopping? Where we gonna go?" she asked with a sweet smile, skipping to his side.
"Well, the mall for starters. Pickup some clothes, see you test some lingerie maybe, then maybe get a bit of food then hit the road." Jarred said, leading her by the arm back to the entrance of the club, his previous high having faded a bit, but could never stop picturing her.... in those scenes.
Jumaris giggled slightly, leaning closer into him. " You are such a push-over..." she began, lingering her lips just in front of his, quickly pulling them away with a teasing smile. "Has anyone ever told you that?"
Her happy moment was just as harshly pulled away from her, however, when the strip club's leader came striding up.
"Jumi, baby! Who's this handsome fella?!" he asked with his smug smile, putting his hands firmly on Jumaris's shoulders as he kissed her cheek.
Jumi's face fell, a look of disappointment quickly clouding her gray colored eyes.
"This is...Jarred..." she said with obvious discomfort, unlocking her arm from his.
At that, he chuckled. "A rich boy, eh? Jumi, you don't think this'll work right? You know that I am the only man who will ever give you a break...now, listen, Christie's sick. We need someone to take her place, so get that sweet a** on stage. The clients are waiting, darlin'..."
Jarred instantly didn't like this fellow. At. All. In a blur, his hand was wrapped around the man's throat, his head bashing against the wall in a show of strength, though not either enough to seriously wound the man, though the look in Jarred's eyes will give him nightmares for sure. "Listen up real close now: You ever talk to, mention, or even look at my Jumaris again, and I swear upon all the demons in Hell and all the angels in Heaven that I will kill you where you stand. ******** like you give us guys bad names, but you just made my s**t list: You have a control issue. Find some other ******** girl to fill her place, but Jumaris is NEVER coming back. You understand me? I might be some prissy rich boy with more money then you can ******** count, but I know a man full of bullshit when I see one." He said angrily, his eyes flashing on fire for just an instant, then replaced by a yawning darkness that clouded every square millimeter of his eyes, fangs slowly growing from his teeth. He let go of the man, letting him fall to the ground. His face was back to normal as he grabbed Jumaris by the hand - not gently, but not arm-wrenching either - and dragged her through the door.
Jumaris fell utterly speechless at what unfolded next. Her mouth dropped, eyes wide with what was a mixture of fear and astonishment. It seemed like the whole club feel quiet, a chilling feeling eroding up everyone's spine. Jumi watched with glossy eyes as her boss glared with defeat. It was almost surreal as Jarred pulled her outside of the bar. Her straight pink hair fell in her face as she looked down at the concrete. She wasn't sure what to think.
Once far enough from the bar, Jumaris pulled away, filled with confusion. She furrowed her eyebrows, emotional turmoil obvious in her shining eyes.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?! You can't just barge in and expect him to listen to you. Jarred he's insane. You're gonna get us killed. What the ******** was that?!" She wet her lips, beginning a small pace as she let the panic over take her.
"DO YOU NOT GET IT?!?!?!? We are being hunted down by crazy government dudes who look like something from the Twilight Zone, and your worried about a disgruntled boss? Did you not notice that you can generate electricity, take far more than a normal human can handle, or that I can run REALLY ******** fast and throw a damn bus half to California?!?!? WE ARE ******** SUPERHEROES, JUMARIS!!! We aren't normal human beings anymore."Jarred exclaimed, bashing in hand for emphasis into a brick wall, then revealed his hand as to not even be dusty, let alone damaged in anyway. "For a single second, I was tempted to rip the ******** head off RIGHT THERE. Sure, we've known each other for maybe a day or so, but YOU are the closest thing I have to sanity right now, and I am NOT going to let some douche-bag with a god-complex to ******** that up." He admonished, anger still thick in his voice. Obviously, he was much closer to ripping that dude's head off even now.
Jumaris shook her head. "No Jarred. You don't get it. You may have super powers, but you can't take on the world! They made us, Jarred! We weren't born like this. Do you know what that means?! It means they know how to kill us. Normality is the only thing we have right now. Don't you think they're tracking us? You honestly think we'd be able to get away that easily?" She nearly hollered, not bothering to control her voice. The whole thing was a mess. It wasn't suppose to be like this. He was just some guy. She was just some girl. None of this should have happened.
Jarred shrugged. "If they are tracking us, better to keep moving then so they have no trace to find. If they know hot to hurt us, they would've used it by now. Our purpose may be hidden, but they made us for a reason. If we're some kind of weapon, we'll use it against them, but now we can barely take on each other, let alone the ********' government. We'll go over that hurdle when we come to it, no use worrying over it now." He said simply, his voice expressionless that had in the past infuriated many a woman and man because of his lack of emotion.
