Welcome to Gaia! ::

(My name is): Jarred Patterson
(I am 21 years old.)
(When I last checked, I was): Male
(My orientation is): Straight
(What I like to do): Loves to draw, listen to music, and paint.
(My life is pretty much): Jarred grew up in slummy part of town, though his father was rich enough to afford a decent house, he never did. His mother died when he was 8, his father taking a bit of depression. Jarred, after that, was left to take care of himself and his sister. When his grandfather died, he left Jarred an estate and LOADS of money. So, Jarred took his sister to the estate and there they live. He goes to college in town - the estate is out of town - and is currently a sophomore with a pretty laid-back life. By chance, he had won a 2010 Chevy Camaro from a lottery ticket, thus how he drives around.
(People say I am): Jarred is pretty laid back and out-going, though has his moments wen he is odd or out of it. He plays the guitar and the drums, so he is obviously a music-oriented guy. Loves to laugh and smile, and be a bit of a romantic when he tries.
(Likes): Food, his sister, his car, women, and the simple things.
(Dislikes): Stupid people, ignorant girls, boredom, or people making snide comments - not jokes - about his parents.

(My name is): Jumaris Jones
(I am 20 years old.)
(When I last checked, I was): Female. Isn't it obvious?
(My orientation is): Bisexual
(What I like to do): Partying, Singing, Dancing
(My life is pretty much): Jumaris grew up in the slums, and pretty much stayed in the slums. Thankfully, she was pretty and manipulative, able to get into nearly any bar in the area. As soon as eighteen hit, she became the stripper that every man in the area wanted, the girl who you could go to for a good time without feeling too overly guilty afterward. It was only when they got home that they realized their wallets were missing. Jumaris was raised in a family where values didn't matter. You slept with you could to get what you needed. She was nearly on her own throughout her whole life, picking up on thievery at a young age.
(People say I am): Irresponsible, irrational, and irresistible,Jumaris is your every day stripper with a lust for money. She enjoys living on the wild side, tasting that sweet luxury. She's your stereotypical beauty. Getting what she wants when she wants, she rarely has a frown on her face.
(Likes): Girly Things, Expensive Items, Music, Men
(Dislikes): Dirt, Boring people, Boredom in general, beer, bad odors
(This is what I look like): User Image
(Eye Color): gray
(Hair Color): pink
(Height): 5'7

(Other junk I want to add): She's always had the dream of being famous

Jarred leaned against the silver side of his lovely Camaro, his arms crossed over his brown jacket and waited a bit from the schoolyard his sister currently attended. He had already been checked out a number of times by passing teachers and other students - it was middle school, so he didn't get all warmed up over it - but he gave them all his charming smile and hellos.
Jumaris Jones rolled over in the white cotton sheets, giggling slightly as she pecked the cheek of the previous night's lover. He smiled the usual rich-man smile and pulled her closer, returning the playful kiss. After a small argument of "I have to go", Jumie slipped out of the bed and tiptoed into the tiled bathroom, sighing with exasperation. Taking a quick shower, she continued readying herself, finishing up with volumizing mascara. Humming a cheerful tune, she kneeled down, pulling his wallet out of his back pocket. The one good thing about men- they were dependable. She could always depend on the rich man to leave his money laying on the bathroom floor. Counting out the two hundred dollars, she subtly slid the wad of cash into her Victoria's Secret bra, stepping back into the apartment with a glorious smile.
"So...are you going to drive me...?"
"Sure, love..."
"I only need to be driven to the Middle School this time...I can walk the rest of the way..." she winked, walking backwards out the exit, her stiletto heels clicking lightly on the ground. It was a short drive, and why she wanted to go to the school was beyond her. She figured it was because she enjoyed the wolfish howls of the teenagers. It was so cute. The sleek black limo pulled up, across the street from a Camaro.
"How's this, love?"
"Fantastic. I'll catch ya later..." With that she stepped into the broad daylight, looking as fresh as a day in spring.
Jarred looked in the car-mirror at the limo that pulled up, dropping off a rather scantily clad young lady. Thankfully, he was kept from dwelling on it when the bell rang for the school around the corner. Wearing loose khaki cargo pants, a white T-shirt that hugged his chest, and his brown jacket, he was rather easy to spot. Plus, with white air and bright blue eyes, he was a striking figure. His sister, a short 7th grader in her uniform and long black hair, came darting out from the corner and BOOM!!!! was swept into a hug, with Jarred saying: "How was school, Scarlett?" he asked, the girl bouncing into the Camaro and announcing: "I passed my test!!!" She was so excited for a 13 year old.
Jumaris waved to the limo as it pulled away, blowing a kiss with a bouncy air. Her pink hair spun as she turned on her heels, gliding across the street with a relatively seductive smile passed on to anyone who cared to look. Her gray eyes scanned the area for anyone who was willing to pay some attention to her, something she craved like an elephant craved peanuts. With slight disappointment, it didn't come as much as she'd been hoping. There were a few whistles coming from a passing car, but other than that, there were only the pre-occupied middle-schoolers. Two people particular caught her eye- a gorgeous teenage girl and who was assumed to be some relative. Why not strike up a conversation? Passing by with a slower pace, she paused, smiling brightly.
"You have amazing hair, you know that? What products do you use?" she asked with friendly curiosity to the girl.
Scarlett grinned broadly: "Just some stuff my mom used to use. She had my hair too, you know?!?!?!" She announced, Jarred raising an eyebrow as he still stood by the car. He had noticed - quite easily - the girl in the odd outfit. His sister didn't - she was oblivious unless it was pointed out to her - so he wasn't really worried. He wouldn't mind a conversation, but he could already tell this girl was something he would rather not talk to. "Whadda you use?!?!" Scarlett replied, her big blue eyes getting large, and antithesis to her brothers with his green eyes.

((Yes, I know I said they were blue before. I messed up. DON'T YELL AT ME!!!!))
((Lol I wasn't gonna say a word about it...))

Jumaris smiled. "Aw, thanks. You noticed..." she said with a slight bob of her shoulders. "Just some stuff from the salon. That s**t is expensive! You would be shocked. I think they have a plan to bankrupt everyone..." She giggled. "So, do you make it by hand? Or is bought? I always thought the natural stuff was better, but ya know..."
Surprisingly, she actually enjoyed the conversation, though short it seemed to be. She let her gray eyes wander to the guy with the white hair. Now he had nice hair. She wouldn't have mind at all running her hands through that. Although, he does seem a little stiff....a little shot of Tequila could change that...
Jarred, feeling her eyes on him, grew cautious. "Sorry, we have some stuff to do at home. Nice meeting you." He said hastily, grinning briefly before leaping into the car. "It was nice meeting you!!!" Scarlett called back, as the Camaro pulled out of the space. He sighed in relief when they turned the corner, not liking that girl at all. "So, what do he hafta do?" He didn't reply to Scarlett's question.

((Is that too hasty????))
((haha eh, na it's cool))

Jumaris crossed her arms for a moment, looking thoughtful in her usual curious way. It was indeed a short conversation. Still, she wondered if she'd seen him before. Maybe he'd come into the club? Then again, he did have one of those faces...and the bar's lights did change hair color. She wouldn't have noticed the white...
So, after waving goodbye, she took up her never-ending journey. Damn, should've asked for a ride... Winking at a group of guys, she continued her model walk down the sidewalk, until arriving at Roxy's Gents, one out of three popular clubs. The place hadn't opened yet, and already the music boomed through the paper-thin walls.
Scarlett scampered inside, her hand taken by her maid-lady. Jarred stayed outside, and watched her enter the house. Afterwards, he got back into the Camaro and took off back into town, passing by a number of clubs he'd look at later for entertainment. Instead, he went to the coffee shop across the street, ordering his favorite: Caramel frappuccino, since it was rather hot outside regardless. He forgot his laptop, but didn't need it since he just sat down and intended to spend a few hours in blissful caffeine high. He grinned at the thought.
((Oh-em-geeee xD I had one of those yesterday...))

Inside a few bartenders cleaned tables, stacked glasses, and flipped bottles of wine in the air, nearly everyone practicing one thing or another. She'd join the girls on stage after hitting up the lockers in back. Seriously, who'd dance in street clothes??
"Hey, how's my favorite girl??!" the manager hollered over the beat of the music. Jumaris, without letting him notice, sneered, only to face him with a smile. She wouldn't mind emptying his wallet sometime. The b*****d deserved a decent thievery. Most men she did that too really didn't deserve, she just couldn't care less. But, it was different the 'Macho Libre'. Na, this guy she actually wanted to see in pain. This was the b*****d who bought her when her drunk a** dad kicked her on the streets. This was the b*****d who exchanged a job for a blow job.
"Raoul!!" she said with a cheery tone, throwing her thin arms around his neck. He was such a sleaze.
"So, baby, we're havin' you on 'pro bono' tonight got it?"
Jumaris let go of him, crossing her arms in childish protest. "I don't do pro bono. It's pay or no deal..." she said with a firm tone, furrowing her pink eyebrows. It didn't have the effect she wanted it to.
"Sorry babe, but you don't have a choice in the matter, remember? You've been blowin off too many of my customers. It's fair game, sweet cheeks..." he said with a chuckle and grin.
"You also forget that without me your business would crash..." She tried to match his calm tone, to no avail, sounding more like a whimpering child afraid of the dark.
"Ha! You think you're the only girl in town who'll give a lap dance.Come on, half of the men in here are drunk. They wouldn't know the difference between an anorexic hottie or Layne Bryant model if it hit them in the face... you're working tonight. And you're doing it for free. Get over it. This establishment doesn't evolve around you, sweets. It's mine, and you're mine. Get used to it. You know no one else will ever accept you..." With that he walked away, leaving the spoiled Jumaris alone with the chairs and tables in the dim of the bar.
Jarred didn't know what to think of the girl his sister had greeted earlier. Sure, she was hot, but she was a stripper. He could tell, simply by the way she walked and how she looked at him. He shivered just slightly. Those kind of girls were odd, and VERY snobby. One type of girl he didn't enjoy.

((BAH!!!! writers block...))
((lol I had it bad yesterday...i'm starting to think it's contagious...))

Jumaris sighed, pausing in thought. She didn't like the thought of doing things for free, even for one night. At this very moment, the only money she had was the two-hundred in her lacy black bra. And that she knew would be gone by the end of tonight. It always was for one reason or another. With any luck, she'd be able to shove it in an old pair of socks and put it somewhere safe. But where? It couldn't stay there...
"Dang, Jumaris. I thought only I could do that to him..." one of her fellow ladies said with a joking smile. "You've got him on a string, I think...he just needs to be played with a little..."
Jumaris forced a smile. A long string of swear words came to mind, but, the context was wrong. She'd have to save them for later when she'd more than likely stub her toe. Grace didn't come after seven glasses of wine.
"So, you gonna get ready or what? Boss has new plans for us. Guess we're dressed in red tonight. Said something about getting more vibrant...." the girl shrugged.
"As if anyone's gonna notice..."
"If ya ask me, they aren't too bad though..."
"Fredrick's?"
"Better..."
"No way!!"
"Way..."
Jarred jerked awake, having dozed off a bit while he enjoyed his caramel caffeine container. He looked up, but noticed the day hadn't progressed for a good time. He sighed wearily, throwing away the empty frappuccino cup and heading out the door. He sighed happily out-doors, his mind subconsciously noting the dark-purple clouds to the west.
