Of course Madeline wasn't attempting to say she understood Shanti's boyfriend more than Shanti did. But Madeline honestly didn't think that Chin Ho would take the news seriously.

"And... Well, here's the universal law of pregnancy. Everything goes your way. You don't have to worry about other people, for the next... Six or so months it's all about you. Don't worry about anyone else or what anyone else thinks because after the full moon you're just not going to have the energy to worry about what Chin Ho or Marik thinks." Madeline would be lying if she said that Shanti's brother didn't annoy her. Her dad didn't like Dante but by the time her father left he tolerated Dante's existence. In her opinion Marik should've minded his own damn business considering that he only met Shanti like five months ago.

Then again they were always the better couple. They rarely got into fights and Dante didn't have to worry about Madeline acting how Shanti herself did. "I'm still going to make Marik tell me where our parents are. I need to do that more than anything. I need to talk to her." Serah was their mother and she worked for a Master Vampire in New York, that was the only detail Marik was willing to share at the moment. That was all she needed. A name and a place.

Oh yeah, Madeline wasn't completely over the Acuila s**t, she was almost there, but not exactly there yet.

"How badly do you need to talk to her?" Madeline asked taking her hand out of Aiden's hand gently and looking at the clock a bit. It was one in the afternoon. Ugh, it felt like twenty four hours already.. "Because I could probably find your parents faster than your brother will tell you where they are."

"How do you know where my mother is Madeline?" Shanti asked her, looking at Aiden and wagging her finger at him. He cooed and grabbed her finger tightly, trying to bite onto her finger. "Marik made it seem like he only knew about them. You don't have to get involved though Madeline....this is a personal thing. I don't want to get you to feel like you have to help." Shanti mumbled and pulled her finger back as Aiden sucked on his thumb.

"I don't know... But I could know." Madeline shrugged a bit, patting Aiden's head gently. "If I offer to help then it's nothing but a favor. You're my... Boyfriend's Brother's Girlfriend. What would it look like if I didn't offer to help?" Madeline was usually a genuine person when it came to these things. There were times when Madeline wouldn't do a damn thing to help someone else out. She's done it to Shanti before. Not offer to help when she obviously could. For example, the Beast thing, Madeline could've helped her within a month. But she didn't. "Nothing more than a favor. If you want me too that is."
