This was just freaking great! It was one thing to spread a rumor but to have someone accuse her of attacking an innocent human child, oh hell no.There was no way in hell that Shanti would attack a child. No way she would ever think of doing that and the b*****d that started this crap would fry. There was no doubt in her mind that her wonderful, loving master would be calling her in to talk to her. Note the sarcasm.When she first heard of the rumor she brushed it off, thinking it was nothing, but when she felt the pull of her Master she knew it was nothing but. If he was calling her then that meant this rumor was serious. Someone was really trying her patience and this was just the start. Shanti needed to find out who started it and if he actually thought that she harmed a child then he wasn't as smart as she thought. Shanti had tried her best to ignore his call over the past few days hoping to find out who had started the lie. No luck. Eventually her master would try to contact her again.


Speak of the devil.

Shanti could feel the pull of her master calling and she growled, causing the other patrons of the bar to look up and stare. "Master's callin you again?" Shanti turned, glaring at her friend Roxanne. She was a Were like her and owner of the Red Moon Bar. "What do you think? I was hoping that I could get away from him for a little while. Guess not." Shanti pushed away from the counter and paid for her drink. "Just wish me luck." Roxanne smirked and nodded her head cleaning out the rest of her glasses."Will do hun." Shanti left the bar and climbed into her silver '00 Toyota Corolla and pulled away from the bar. 'I'm on my way.'

Why does Shanti do this to him? Whenever his other half called Madeline the Were came in a heartbeat, and Chin Ho liked to think that he treated his Were better than Madeline was treated by her master. 'I'm on my way.' Chin Ho let out a sigh and leaned back in his seat, earning a curious look from Madeline. She was basically held hostage here since he was trying to get Shanti here.

As for the reason why... They were in some trouble here... Their animals were both accused of attacking children. Children, Chin Ho knew both women very well and he knew they didn't do it. Well, he was almost sure they didn't. His brother's animal said that she didn't do it and they didn't even accuse her of it. Seeing how stressed out she was over the accusation made Chin Ho worry about Shanti, was she as stressed as Madeline was? Hopefully not.

"Shanti's on her way." He informed the two other people in the room before sitting back in his seat.

Dante was pissed. This lie was really trying his nerves and he wanted to believe that Shanti and Madeline were innocent, but he knew better. Some Weres you could trust and some you couldn't. So unless they found out the truth he would be wary of the two. He heard his brother let out a sigh and took a sip of the wine in his hand. Times like this he missed Aculia. His mate that had died long before he made Madeline his animal to call. Moving a hand through his chocolate locks he heard Chin Ho say that Shanti was on her way and he could feel the emotion that woman gave his brother roll off in waves. She was such a troublesome thing. She should be proud to have Chin Ho for her master.

"I still don't understand why someone would even try to pull a stunt like this. As the Masters of the city they should know better." Dante frowned, gripping the glass in his hands and setting it down gently on the table beside him. He looked over to his animal to call and shook his head, too busy in his own thoughts. He heard the doors open and watched Shanti walk in, mouth pulled into a frown and hands shoved into her pockets. "I'm here. Now what?" She snapped, looking over Chin Ho, frown still in place. Dante chuckled and glared at her. "Have you no manners runt?" He growled and Shanti flipped him off, grinning like the cat she was. "You need to control her better brother." Dante finished the rest of his wine and scoffed.

This wasn't the ideal thing that Madeline could be accused of. Killing a child... Really? Madeline herself was born as a Werecheetah and she was abused as a child, why would she kill a kid? Her beast was completely under her control... She would've rather had been accused of being a slut than killing a child. Shanti.. She wasn't sure of but Madeline knew she didn't do it. Madeline liked to stay close to her master, as in, she usually was near him unless her told her to leave or go do something. Sure, she had that mini job as a stripper when she worked as Rio, Rio was very popular with the men, but Madeline was completely and sickeningly devoted to her master. If he told her to stop stripping, she'd stop stripping. Period.

"Brother, your animal came with obedience beaten in her. I am not an individual that punishes his servants, there's not much I can do about her...." Chin Ho was sweet and she didn't really understand why Shanti was so rebellious towards him. She grew up with so many people like herself that would've loved to have Chin Ho as a master.... But Madeline figured it was like this because Shanti was a Dominant that she acted like this. Well, that didn't give her much of an excuse, Madeline was a dominant too, the most powerful werecheetah in the city in fact, despite the calm look, she could be a trouble maker. But she wouldn't kill a kid. Madeline put her face in her hands for a moment before sitting back up properly, letting out a low frustrated sigh as she did so.

"Well.. I could ask Tia to bring up Ronnel, we haven't seen him since he brought Madeline to us." Madeline frowned, Ronnel was a master vampire that was under the control of Tia Wen, the master of the city of Richmond. He hated wereanimals. Especially the cats, when Madeline was younger and not bound to Dante, she was in Richmond. She saw what the vampire did, she didn't like it, hopefully, Shanti would understand how bad the threat was.

Shanti stuck her tongue out at Dante and ruffled Madeline's hair. She had a sort of soft spot for the girl. Like a sister or something. "Chin Ho can try to tame me. I would love to see him try. Will there be handcuffs and blindfolds involved?" Shanti teased, plopping down on the floor with a slight yawn. At the mention of Ronnel she frowned. "Why him? Tia I can handle, but not him. He's a jerk and he won't help us. He doesn't like people like Madeline and I. So that option is out of the window. He might help if it's just Dante and Chin Ho. But helping Weres. A big fat no." Shanti stretched, almost purring. "I just want whoever made the lie to get their a** whooped. Attacking a child...never. Unless you don't believe me Chin Ho~" Shanti sniffled and rolled onto her belly, looking up at him.

"Do you really think I did something bad?" She asked, watching him. "You probably do. After all I'm not one to shut my mouth and do what you want me to do. So what do we do now? The problem is about us..it would be pointless to bring in other people. It's our fight is it not?" Shanti moved her gaze from her master and stared at Madeline. "What do you think chica?"

"Yes, but he could help us with my problem with you." No, Chin Ho didn't punish any of the servants that he's had in the past. That was mainly why Ronnel was so eager to talk with them. But Chin Ho was beginning to get frustrated with Shanti's rebellion against him. He knew it, Dante knew it, hell maybe even Madeline knew it. But a part of him did want to dabble in the things that she was suggesting, it sounded very entertaining for him. "But Tia can't help us with this. The rumor came from... The council, she would help us in any other way but the council is already all over her for many reasons. Ronnel is coming here as a trade. She doesn't want him anymore so we took him." Chin Ho sighed again.

"But, I don't believe either of you had done it... I cannot speak for my brother, but I have faith in both of you." No, don't think that he's the nicest vampire in the world, with these four people in this room, he was a decent guy, but when it came to other things... He was a killer. He didn't deny it either. It was just what it was. "I don't even think it is your fight." Chin Ho glanced over at Dante and sighed. "Do you have anything to say, brother?"

Shanti was such a handful. Maybe she did care for his brother more than she lead on. She was just having trouble explaining it or showing it. So Ronnel was coming to stay with them. It was going to be a problem with his dislike of the animals. "Just be on your best behavior around him. I know you don't like him, but if he can help us then just hold your tongue." Dante looked over to his brother and allowed his emotions to soothe him. 'Do not let her get to you. She knows what buttons to push.' Dante spoke to him. 'I don't know why you choose her in the first place, but then again I'll never understand the relationship you have with her.' Dante stood and walked over to Madeline, running his hand over hers gently. Some would say that his relationship with Madeline was more caring and loving. A surprise contrast to the loner that he was. He guessed that it was the last remnants of Aculia's influence on him that made him that way.

"I know you can hold your tongue against him. If he does anything wrong tell me. No matter what it is." Dante whispered, pulling her head against his chest. She was important to him. Even if he didn't want to admit it out loud. "So brother, I guess we wait?" Dante pulled away from Madeline, the feeling of being close to her somewhat intimate. "When did Tia tell us that he would arrive?"

Madeline purred softly when Dante touched her. She would admit that she had some very intimate feelings for him. In fact, it wasn't much of a secret. Sometimes she wanted more attention but she'd take what she got from him. In fact, a lot of people thought that Madeline was a stripper because she didn't have a lover. When in reality it was one of the only things that gave her some kind of self-esteem.

"Actually, I saw Ronnel today." Madeline admitted, hugging her knees close to her body and rested her head on her knees. "I don't know why he hasn't come to both of you yet.... And there was someone else with him too... I think, an elephant." Or something from Africa. Madeline herself was a Werecheetah but when it came to other wereanimals from Africa, all the scents blended together if she wasn't familiar with it. "Or it could be a Zebra..." She shrugged a bit completely unsure. "But I'm almost sure, it's an Elephant, and that Ronnel's already here..." She stopped talking then, sometimes when Madeline spoke it was painfully obvious how mistreated she was in the past, but then again sometimes she was just painfully oblivious to everything, like now.

So Chin Ho didn't believe that she had harmed the child. How sweet, but she knew Dante didn't. He didn't like her and she didn't like him. Holding her tongue when Ronnel came? Fat chance. Shanti perked up as Chin Ho said that Ronnel could help with his problem she rolled her eyes. Problem with her? She'd give him a problem. Shanti moved her glowing gaze off of Chin Ho and focused on Madeline. So the jackass was already here and he had a were with him. So much for that whole 'I-hate-weres' thing he had going on. "His were is probably stuck up. I guess we'll have to play nice with both of them." Shanti moved over to Madeline, wrapping one arm over her shoulders. She had a little idea in mind that she wanted to try and all she needed was the green light from her friend.

"He might stop by the club...or he might come here. Either way I don't want to wait for him to finally get here and talk to us. When he shows up just call us. That would be the smart thing to do right?" Shanti lowered her mouth to Madeline's ear, hoping that the two males in front of them wouldn't here. It would be a surprise. "Madeline...I need you to get me a job as a stripper. It's a little...gift for Chin Ho." Shanti smirked and brushed her white hair out of her face. "So I guess this meeting is over huh?"

Wow, words couldn't describe how frustrated Chin Ho was right now. Especially now, with Shanti whispering in Madeline's ear and that damn grin that spread across her face and the smirk that was one Shanti's. 'I could ask you the same about your stripper, brother.' No, he didn't really have any ill feelings towards Madeline and her career of choice. She treated her brother with respect and she didn't push things. But no matter how stupid that girl acted that grin just meant trouble, and right now it seemed like that trouble was heading his way.

"Right, go ahead leave. We need to talk anyway." Right, it'd be better to verbally speak to his brother about it than mentally. Plus, he wanted at least ten minutes without frustration. Well, that last one probably wasn't going to happen anytime soon but still.. He needed to figure out what was frustrating him so. It could have been the fact that he hasn't had sex in about five centuries. But then again Chin Ho never felt the real need to have sex, he never felt the need, even when sex was all that was around him, he never felt it. Ever since Shanti came around something changed. It was strange.

He faintly heard Madeline's purr and he ruffled her hair gently as Shanti took a spot next to her and muttered something her ear and grinned at his brother. The tension between the two was plain to see, Dante just didn't get why his brother didn't realize it. "We'll deal with Ronnel and his animal. It doesn't matter that he hasn't shown up to his just as long as he agrees to help us. He will help us. He has no other choice. Tia no longer has any use for him and he probably wants to feel useful. Don't stress yourselves." Dante ran his hand back over Madeline's and left her side. "We'll call you when we need you."

Dante watched silently as the girls left and he turned to his brother, shaking his head. "I do not understand you. A blind person could see the tension between you and Shanti. I am surprised. My brother wanting to sleep with his animal." Dante chuckled, almost doubling over with laughter. "So will you sleep with her brother dear?"

This was very unexpected news. "You should've told me sooner." Madeline said grinning a bit. Madeline stood up and gave Dante a little scout salute. "Yessir." And pulled, yes pulled Shanti out of the room excitedly. And closed the doors behind her.

"This is going to be... Scandalous." She chirped a bit. "I could get you a job, and what's more, I could get you a solo dance, tonight, if you want that." When they were out on the streets heading to Exotic Fantasies, the strip bar that Madeline worked at. "Do you have a routine? Do you have a costume... Do you have a song to strip to? You don't want the DJ to pick it, because I play DJ, and you don't want me to pick your song." Because sometimes, Madeline was mean and liked to humiliate people. You could trust her with things like outfits and routines, music, not so much. "You do know my club doesn't have stripper bars right?" Right, it'd be better to get all the stuff out of the way quickly so that the owner of the bar didn't have to ask.

To say that Madeline was happy was an understatement. "Scandalous is just what I was looking for. I do have a song in mind but no costume. A slot tonight would be amazing. We just need our lovely masters to drop by so we can really get a kick out of it." A job as stripper wasn't something Shanti had in mind but if it pissed Chin Ho off then she would accept the job without a second thought. "But I do need a stripper name." Shanti laughed, pushing up her sunglasses on her face. "Maybe Minx? It has to be sexy though. Like yours." she couldn't wait to see Chin Ho's face when this went down. Tonight was going to be fun.

'No not at all. Your relationship is so easy because she follows you like an overly obediant puppy.' Was these kind of things common between the two of them? Yes. There were faults in both of their relationships between them and their animals. Chin Ho barely paid any attention and Dante, maybe too much.

"I don't intend to sleep with her." That was ridiculous. "And it's not funny." He said finally before sitting up right. "I think, that woman's trying to get into contact with us again." Chin Ho and Dante were successfully estranged from the head of their line. He couldn't bring it up with the animals there but he could bring it up now. "I hope I'm wrong, seeing as the type of damage she did the last time she had found us, but by wait Tia told me, it sounds like she's coming here for us again." That woman wasn't something to be messed with and when Tia hinted to Chin Ho that she knew their location, he had requested for Ronnel. He was prejudice but he was one of the only vampires that she feared. "But Tia said we didn't have anything to worry about.. Right now... I think she's the one that had started the rumor about our animals."
