Brendon crouched down to Alex's height again, after a brief chuckle at the little story. "Who's it?" he asked the little boy. He looked toward the door, so he could see when Alysha opened it.

But I'm not quite sure as to what's not there...

Alex whispered Allen to his dad, the door opened and low and behold Allen, "hey Alysha" he said, Alysha had totally forgotten about him.
"He always flirts with mummy...I don't like him." he whispered.

Brendon looked at him. "Huh..I know how ya' feel buddy." he said shaking his head. "Well, you should finish your..dinner. I'll stay here with you." he offered.

Alex nodded and smiled slightly. Allen spotted Alex, then saw brendon. He cursed under his breath. Alysha looked back and smiled happily.

Brendon set Alex on the counter and crossed his arms watching him. "So you don't play any sports..whatsoever?" he asked his Alex.

Alex nodded, "I do run sometimes with mummy, she takes me to town." he smiled and looked at his dad. momentairly forgetting about the mutt in the hallway.

Brendon chuckled. "Very good." he smiled, ruffling his hair up a bit. He was just as agitated about said mutt in the hallway, but he didn't know who was in charge right now. Maybe Alysha had started dating him in his absence. He sighed and looked at the two talking for a moment, and looked back at Alex. He was the cutest kid he'd ever seen.

Alex smiled slightly and looked at his mother, who seemed to want out of the convosation with Allen, so, Alex began to cry. Waterworks came in hnady, Alysha looked and ran over, "what's wrong?" she asked, Alex pointed to Allen, "he's taking you away!" he cried, Alysha smiled slightly and hugged him. "no, never dear, I'm yours and Brendons forever and ever," she said softly, Alex sniffled up and nodded.

Brendon knelt down too, to see what had happened even though he'd been watching Alex the whole time. He tried to hold back a smile when he'd realized that the kid was awesome.. and sadly, he couldn't remember himself being awesome as such, so he couldn't say, "I wonder where he gets it" But that didn't matter. The second he saw him he loved him, he still loved her. And this was how they'd be forever. He chuckled, and hugged the little boy quickly.

While Alysha hugged their son, Alex winked at his dad and hugged his mum back, he was a sneaky devil, and came in handy. Alysha let him go and looked at brendon, "I wonder..." she said softly.

Brendon sighed and just sat in the middle of the floor, just barely catching Alysha's words. "what? What do you wonder?" he asked eagerly.
