Nicole walked down the hall of her palace... She couldn't help but wonder what her life would be like if she had a normal life... instead of living the life of a princess. Sighing softly, the young woman sighed softly and ran a hand through her hair as she wondered what she should do now... Yawning, Nicole looked around the hall, wondering where her knight is...

Roka smirked, he leaned against the wall as he waited for his target to come to him. Everyday, she took the same route, and knew that she would come here... Hell, he didn't even know why he picked on her... maybe, it was because she was just so easy to tease. Yeah, that had to be it. Chuckling to himself, he waited for her to arrive. ((also, she is just so adorable!!!))

xx"Nicole-sama." breathed Gabriel as he flew into one of the windows in front of her. He knelt down in front of her and bowed his head. He was in light armor as well as a helmet and he had a sword holstered to his hip. "I apologize for being tardy." he said to her before he stood up and looked at her with gentle, yet warrior-like eyes. He gave her a gentle smile before he bowed his head to her. "Do you need my assistance, Nicole-sama?" he asked her in a soft voice.

xxAmaryllis looked around the block as she walked home from her work. She had her paycheck in hand and was smiling to herself as she took the same route as she did every other day. She looked up and noticed the male that waited for her to come by. She bit her lower lip as she sped past him, hoping that he wouldn't pick on her today.

Smiling, she said "today is the royal dinner... and we're supposed to have at least one guard and... I choose you." Nicole just smiled happily at him, though she hoped that he would say yes... she didn't really like the other guards as much, they all treated her like a princess... and Gabriel treated her like a person... least when they were by themselves...

Roka smirked and grabbed her wrist and threw her to the ground. "No matter where you go, I'll find you." He said with a laugh before grabbing her by her shirt and slammed her to the ground again.

xxGabriel smiled at her before he nodded softly. "I would love to go and be your guard, Nicole-sama." he said to her before he took his helmet off and smiled at her. He took her hand in his and gently pressed his lips to the back of her hand as he looked up into her beautiful eyes.

xxAmaryllis squeaked when he grabbed her wrist, but started coughing when he slammed her into the ground. She gasped slightly before she turned her head away and closed her eyes as he repeatedly slammed her into the ground. She whimpered for him to stop as she started to tremble. Her head was killing her as he slammed in constantly into the ground. She hated this male. "Stop..." she managed to croak out as blood poured down her face. They mixed with her tears before they pooled in the hollow of her neck.

Nicole just smiled brightly and giggled softly. "Shall we get some lunch Gabriel?" She asked in a soft voice, she didn't think that it would have been possible that one guard treated her like a person... it was nice for a change. Taking a deep breath, she started to walk down the hall to get something to eat.

Narrowing his eyes, Roka got off saying "you're no fun today..." He growled at her and slammed her one more time before walking away. That girl just ruined his fun today. He mumbled to himself as he wleft.

xxGabriel followed her with a small smile on his face. "Should I make you something to eat, Nicole-sama?" he asked her in a gentle voice.

xxAmaryllis grunted in pain when he slammed her head to the ground one last time. It hit with a sickening crack as blood pooled around her head. She groaned softly before she stood up and stumbled to her home. She didn't make it though. She collapsed a few feet away from where he had beaten her up and passed out from her concussion.

Shaking her head, Nicole calmly said "nah, the cook already offered to make something for lunch." She smiled at Gabriel softly and just couldn't help it... he was like her best friend...

A man had seen amaryllis fall over and had called the paramedics. They took her to the hospital right away.

xxGabriel nodded softly and smiled at her as he walked next to her.

xxAmaryllis started to scream when she noticed that she was in a hospital. She darted out of the hospital and ran to her home.

Once she sat down in the dinning room with Gabriel, she placed her chin on her palm as she thought about what was going to happen tomorrow... She didn't know what could happen, but she had a feeling it was about her refusing to find a husband. Sighing softly, Nicole started to eat her oden soup when it arrived.

Roka yawned as he sat in his home, watching tv as he tried to think of another way to attack that girl... Rubbing his forehead, he didnm't know why he kept attacking her... only that... it felt good doing it. Sighing, the young man got up from his seat and went to bed.

xxGabriel sat across from her and smiled softly before he started to eat his soup as well.

xxAmaryllis curled into a ball and drifted off to sleep.

Finishingh er meal, Nicole looked up at Gabriel and asked "what would you like to do?" She tilted her head to the side, a bright smile on her face as she stared at him. It was so nice to be like a normal woman instead of a spoiled princess... it was just a waste of time to do that...

The next morning, Roka yawned as he left the room. Blinking slowly, he wondered what he was supposed to do... Sighing, he waited for his toy to arrive... though, he had a feeling that she wouldn't with how he had hurt her yesterday. But then again, he hoped she did... it was so much fun to torment her.

xxGabriel smiled at her, his eyes gentle and serene. "Anything." he answered her before he had some more soup. He looked down at the table as he ate his food.

xxAmaryllis was trembling as she took the same route as before. She wheeled herself down the path. She was in a wheelchair. She looked down at the ground as she made her way to work.

Nicole smiled happily and finished her food and got ready to go out to the gardens. Least it would be nice out... maybe they could go for a swim! Smiling brightly, she giggled happily and sat down as she waited for Gabriel.

Roka saw her in the wheelchair and frowned. DAmn... did he do that much damage to her? Sighing, he started to walk away, he'll wait till she was healed. He may be an a** but not enough to beat someone out of a wheelchair.
