Kanon had Sophie on his back soon and was running. One of her friends was standing in the road and he was running towards them. He had to jump over them, it was Kaizu. Kaizu saw them jumping oover him and looked up. He saw Sophie and Kanon but he saw Kanon was a demon. Kanon landed on all fours and ran again

Kaizu stood there and blinked He slapped himself and shook his head 'Ive been drinking too much coffee....'he said and continued walking home

when they got to her house, something was wrong. She wanted to go inside faster than usual. A man came out from behind a tree. He was wearing glasses but had one eye covered, his hair was short and gray. His eye was green and he was dressed like a doctor. He smiled "Kanon, you seem to be due for another operation" he said with a wolf-like smirk. Kanon's arms changed. They were now in long gloves that were balck and had claws at the end of them. The man, Hazzard, had Kanon on the ground with his foot on his chest and Sophie knew she couldnt do anything "to keep from spending time to getting there, why not use the operation here?" he asked and began to move the bandage from his eye. Kanon's eyes widened a bit. A girls voice said "no! Please dont do that" a girl with short black hair in a maid-like outfit with a spear came out of nowhere. "please dont hurt Kanon-sama, he didnt do anything wrong" she said softly. Her name was Fiore, a fellow Demon. She helped Kanon stand up. Hazzard smiled "you already had your operation Fiore" he said, Fiore looked away

Sophie stood there confused She looked from Hazzard to Kanon to Fiore and back to Kanon She stayed quiet not wanting them to notice her

Kanon put Sophie inside so that way she wouldnt get in the middle and Fiore and Hazzard didnt notice her. After a while, Fiore managed to get Hazzard to leave, Fiore bowed to Kanon and vanished. Kanon sighed and went back inside, his arms normal now

Sophie was in her room looking around 'I should re-decorate' she said 'Na nevermind I likes it'

Kanon came out of nowhere, he was hanging upside down from her ceiling and he flipped down so now they were face to face but he was upside down "hey" he said in his usual blank tone. She was still curious about what he meant by 'operation'

She smiled 'Hey' she said and tapped his nose with her finger She sighed and got straight to the point 'whats an operation?'

he sighed softly, he flipped down and landed on his feet. He said "i was once a human like you are, when i was about 6 or so my parents gave me off to Hazzard, the doctor along with my older brother and younger sister. He called these things 'operation's were hew ould take us to a room and began to cut us open and put strange things inside us. He was trying to create the ultimate humans but he was just making Demons. He didnt care, he continued to plant weird devices inside us that never stop moving or working. So we have to eat very little and we cant sleep or we might never wake up" he said

'Thats a bit scary....' she said and shivered 'He's crazy isnt he?' she asked 'But he's a good doctor right?'

he nodded. "if it werent for him we'd be normal" he said sadly and hugged her close "Im sorry"

She smiled and hugged him 'I dont like normal though' she said and looked at him 'I like extraordinary and thats you' she kissed him on the cheek and nuzzled his neck

"its not always great" he said "like we're not allowed to be in any kind of relationship if we wanted, besides, you'd end up dying if we get too close" he said and began to let go of her
