Was Edward really that surprise when she told him that she had nothing really planned for after graduation? Guess it seemed strange coming from his end, even if he was a vampire. They had always planned things in advance, make sure they were seen as normal as they possibly could. Cassandra on the other hand, had things planned for her back in California. She wouldn’t even get the chance to pick her own dinner as it was usually placed right in front of her the moment she was hungry. Edward would have to forgive for not thinking too far into the future. Yes, they were juniors, but they still had a whole other year to follow up on – and she wasn’t quite sure how the whole college process even went. She was after all, ‘home’ schooled. She took a deep breath and shrugged her shoulders, watched Emmett leave and giving him a faint smile. Taking Edward’s hand and letting the cooling tingle run down her spine, she glanced over at him with a bit of a innocent smile. “I don’t know, I mean I never really thought about college. I was just sort of a go with the flow type of girl.” Was, was the main key word there. Now that she had Edward, it was more of a think before you act type of deal. “What about you? Do you plan to actually go to college? Or have you had enough of the school deal?” There was a bit of a hidden laugh in her smile as she looked away from Edward, knowing very well from the years that he was a vampire, there must have been numerous schools he had been to.

Cassandra didn’t need to go to her locker, so the pair of them headed off to the parking lot and towards Edward’s car. The stares they had became old, and people started to leave them alone now that they had be dating for awhile – and was she happy for that. When Edward spoke something about the check list, Cassandra was caught off guard as she looked at him curiously. It was only a second later as to her realization she knew what he was talking about. “Well, I’m not sure if it’s a checklist as I can’t remember half the things you skipped over.” There was a faint laugh that escaped her lips as she tried to remember just what it was that Edward needed to inform her about. For one, this treaty that he kept saying he would tell her, and the second was what happened in class today between Emmett and himself. The idea of bringing it up before they were to be separated however wasn’t something she was actually looking forward too. “How about we save it until after the break?” Cassandra smiled, looking over at Edward as they came to the car. “That way, you won’t have to worry about me trying to do anything stupid while you are away.” Handing Edward her book bag, she thanked him as usual and sat in the passenger’s seat, letting Edward close the door behind her. Cassandra looked to the rear view mirror for a second, as she watched Edward place her things as well as his into the trunk before coming around to the driver’s side.

“I don’t think I do.” Cassandra was sure she had everything she needed for the trip with her, and if she didn’t it wasn’t much of a big deal. “Plus, I think Noah or Jaiden might be there. They said they were heading off somewhere today.” And Noah would do anything to spend a little more time with her sister. “I don’t think it’s a smart idea for them to know it’s actually you dropping me off at the airport.” So she told a little lie to her sister that it was going to be Jessica that was dropping her off. Cassandra just hopped that Annissa wouldn’t call her friend, as she hadn’t really told Jessica about this either. It was alright, they only had a few more hours until her flight. But that conversation would end there, as it would only get uncomfortably awkward for the both of them. It was not every day that your old child hood friend literally throws your boyfriend out into your sister’s backyard, let alone breaking the door at it. She shrugged innocently with a small smile on her face. Cassandra was positive that Edward didn’t really want to bring any of that up either. Her smile only brightens just a bit more as she felt Edward’s hand find hers, their fingers intertwining. Her eyes looked down at their hands, such polar opposites; his cold fingers against her warm ones. And yet, none of this bothered her.

The quietness seem to be broke easily as Edward asked if she was hungry. Cassandra thought about it for a second, and even though she knew she was, she didn’t think there would be enough time for them to actually get food. “I think I’ll just get something on the plane, my flights actually about two hours earlier than yours.” Which only meant they had about an hour and half together before she was to get seated on her plane. “Unfortunate right? You won’t be able to sit through the horrible smell of whatever food it was I was going to eat.” Cassandra joked; she knew very well that Edward had a distance to human food now that he was a vampire. She also didn’t like the fact that she had to always eat in front of him; made her feel guilty as she was the one that made him hunger for something he could not have. “Don’t worry about me eating, I’ll be sure to have something on the plane, and when I get off.” She would literally have to take a picture of her eating and send it to him to make him believe so, but she hadn’t planned on starving herself. They had lunch a few hours ago, so she was okay for the hour that would pass by; not fainting on the ground from lack of food. But it seemed that Edward didn’t mind it much as he quickly spoke about his family soon after. “Ah…” was that her previous response as well when she thought about meeting his family?

She pressed her lips together, looking at him seriously. “You know how I feel about that. Completely nervous.” He wasn’t sure just how well it would go for her to meet his family, especially what happened at her place when Jaiden found the two of them kissing. She let out a faint laugh, leaning against the back of the seat and looking out in the parking lot as students started to leave. “Your father probably thinks I’m accident prone from the times I’ve ran into him at the hospital. Rosalie already hates me for some unknown reason to me, and Emmet is probably on her side, guess he was just being friendly today. Jasper, I have no idea, since well…we haven’t really spoke any words to each other. And your mother…” Cassandra wasn’t sure what to say there after her suddenly babble of talking. Taking a deep breath, she looked over at him, “Probably doesn’t take to kindly to me having her son almost be dog food.” There was a bit of a ‘sorry’ look to her expression as she spoke of the last sentence. She really was sorry for the way that Jaiden had acted about the whole deal. Cassandra wasn’t able to say much after that though, as she saw Jasper in the distance, Alice soon showing up right next to him in view.

Cassandra waited for the pair to get settled in the car before she turned to face them, the same time that Edward had, to request they stop by to get food for her. “Hey Alice, Jasper.” She smiled over at Alice first before looking at Jasper, and then to Edward after hearing the future tellers response to his request. “Actually, it’s alright, I’m not so hungry right now. I think Edward’s just trying to get me fat enough so I’ll taste good at dinner.” Cassandra shrugged casually, looking at Edward, letting a moment of silence pass by first. She laughed, “It’s a joke, I was kidding.” She was being sarcastic, very sarcastic and she knew before Edward would get all serious, she might want to address that first. “But if you really want to go shopping with Jasper before your flight, please, by all means go ahead and drag the poor guy.” Cassandra was in a good mood, and when she was, she tended to try to get a few laughs from others. However, she wasn’t sure really just what their humors level was. So Cassandra stopped talking, with a smile on her face, and turned to face the front, leaning against the seat once more. Pulling the seat belt over her, she looked to Edward with a small shrug. Guess the group of them were ready to head off to Seattle now.

EDWARDCULLENEdward thought back on what the two had been talking about earlier gave her a thoughtful glance as she started talking about not really thinking about college, and ‘going with the flow.’ It was only moments later she was asking him if he had any plans to go to college. He gave her a small smile shrugging his shoulders a little. “In reality my future is based on my family.” Edward said softly trying to think of the best way to explain what was actually going through his mind. “If nothing changes and things continue as they are right now I might go to college, but if it doesn’t I might just end up going back with my family when we have to move again.” He was making a subtle gesture towards their relationship. Things were great, but then again they were also hard and he wasn’t exactly sure how everything was going to work out. Some of her friends didn’t make is easy for him to keep up a steady relationship with her, even though he wanted that so much. He felt like he could be with her forever but there was so much that was making that harder and harder all the time. If things continued as he wanted to though. He had the feeling that if they worked at it their relationship wouldn’t be hard to pull off. All Edward had to do was get on Annissa’s good side and then things would be easy sailing for him. Well or at least that is what he though. He wasn’t sure if he would ever have to deal with Jaiden again, but seeing the bond between Annissa and the leader of the pack Noah Edward knew that he might have just a little bit of trouble with him. Though for some reason Edward thought that Noah seemed a little differen from the other wolves, just from the small interaction they had the other night. He seemed to be less hot-headed than the others, which might actually be why he was the leader in the first place because he knew how to control himself. He knew that Casey had Rosalie to worry about but in reality his family didn’t have a right to tell him he couldn’t see her. They also didn’t have a right to treat her like anything less than family, which was what he epected from him. He knew that if he decided and really knew that Casey was the one they would accept that and see her as they see everyone else in the family.

EDWARDCULLENIt hadn’t exactly registered to Edward that he had managed to get lost in his own thoughts as he her Casey replying to something that he had previously said. He looked down at her for a moment and he just smiled a little. There was so much that he still had to explain to her… almost everything about him and his family. There were small things that he had told her, the little important bits and he always still had to explain the treaty that he and his family had with the ancestors of the pack that was now here. Edward closed his eyes for a moment. She said that maybe they should wait until after the break. He opened his eyes and nodded a little towards her. At least it gave him something to think about when they were apart. He would need to think up how to actually explain many of the things that he actually needed to tell her. She continued though and he looked over at her shaking his head just a bit. “Okay, we can hold off on explaining everything… if we can manage to get some alone time when we come back.” Edward said with a small laugh “But I don’t have to worry about you doing anything stupid.” He said with another laugh. He knew that she wasn’t stupid and she knew what she should do and what she shouldn’t do. It was just that she did happen to be a bit accident prone and that would turn out to be something bad. Edward tried not to think about that though. He wanted to think that she could get passed this long weekend without getting herself into any trouble.

EDWARDCULLENRaising his eyesbrows a little Edward looked at Casey with a bit of a surprised look when she spoke. Though when she finished he just laughed a little. "I don't understand why you are so nervous about it." He said as he leaned back against the seat a little more shrugging his shoulders. Throughout her explaining to him why she thought they wouldn't like her he continued to shake his head back and forth staring at her with a small smile on his face. "Casey, you should really have more confidence when it comes to the way people react to you." He paused laughing softly before he continued with what he was saying. "You are very easy to get along with, as I have said before. You have nothing to worry about when it comes to meeting my family." It was odd how Casey seemed to always doubt herself, did she have any idea what effect she actually has on people? It was almost impossible to not like her. “I think most of them already like you.” He said with a smiled looking over to her. She continued speaking though bringing up both Esme—but saying his mother—and speaking about what had happened a few nights ago. He didn't really comment on her brining up Jaiden. Really the only thing he was mad about was the dog interrupting the kiss. Edward knew that he was more than capable of holding his own against Jaiden. Edward drew in a deep breath, Jaiden wasn't exactly what he wanted to be thinking about at the moment. He smiled a little at her shaking his head a little back and forth. "I will also never understand why you are so worried about them not liking you especially seeing as you are more worried about that than you are getting hurt around us." Then again Edward should have given up on trying to understand her a long time ago. He had been trying for so long and he never seems to get very far.

EDWARDCULLENWhen Casey made the comment about him wanting to fatten her up he turned his head and gave her look. It was silent for a few moments before she started laughing saying that she was kidding. He knew that, but he didn’t like her joking about those sorts of things. Did she not understand? He let it go though shaking his head a little as he looked back at the road. He knew that it wouldn’t be long before they made it to Seattle now. He heard Casey speaking to Alice and Edward just continued on the route. Rosalie, Emmett, Esme, and Carlisle would be just a little behind them. At least Edward knew that there was the possibility of him being able to have just the slightest bit of peace as he said good bye to Casey for the next few days. He sighed at the thought of it. He didn’t want to part with her right now and a part of him wanted to go with her to wherever she was going, Nevada was it? He wished that he could have said no to going to Alaska but everyone had made it out to be such a huge deal, something that Edward still didn’t understand. Alice seemed to be the only one that really knew what was going on and there was no way that she was going to be telling him anything.

EDWARDCULLENThe ride was actually rather quiet. Every once in a while Edward could hear Jasper and Alice in the back seat whispering to each other, at other times Alice would strike up a conversation with Casey. Edward would glance at her every once in a while giving her a smile, taking her hand in his while he paid attention to the road. When they arrived at the airport Edward found a parking spot and he looked over at Casey for a second giving her another smile. Alice leaned forward a little looking at Edward for a moment. “Carlisle and the others are running just a bit behind… I don’t think they will be here for at least another half hour.” Edward laughed a little before he looked over at Casey. He opened the car door taking the keys out and stuffed them in his pocket before he looked at her shaking his head just a little. “Look at that, Casey. Turns out you won’t have to meet my parents after all.” He laughed a little as he got out and walked over to her side opening the door for her.

Cassandra never really thought about leaving Edward. It was always glued to her that they would be together, through all the troubles and all. They would survive together. They had gotten through all this crap that was push towards them, so it was only possible they would be able to get through anything else. Of course, Cassandra had no idea just what was in store for her if she stayed with Edward any longer. She didn’t know there were law abiding vampires watching their every move because they wanted Edward and Alice on their side. She did not have the slightest idea just how dangerous they could be, or just how dangerous others could be. Cassandra just believed that eventually things would slowly die down, and the pair of them could live a non violent and no more running type of life style. But if she ever did think about, honestly think about it, she was sure that it was almost impossible. Their lives didn’t match, but their hearts said otherwise. Cassandra couldn’t explain it, but it was the reason why she fought so hard to be with Edward. Why she went against everyone’s warning, even that of Edwards when he said he wasn’t safe to be around. Cassandra would never give up something that she believed in, especially one that was so close to her heart. She looked over at the other driving, not speaking a word or showing much emotion. It was one of those things they would have to talk about again at a better time.

She didn’t want to think of the idea of Edward leaving her, or the fear that he might not be there when she returned. He only gave her another thing to worry about while she was gone. She had barely gotten off the idea that there was someone else, another vampire that was once interested in Edward, one that he joked about being his ex. What was her name again? The one that they were going to be visiting this weekend? Cassandra went blank as she looked away from the other, looking out the window and being as quiet as she possibly could. She only smiled a bit though when Edward said he wasn’t too worried for her doing anything stupid. When did she ever?! It was just that Edward thought all that she did was going to lead her in getting herself killed or something. But she knew that he would probably have Alice watching over her for the most part. Poor girl, she hated to take Alice’s attention away from Jasper, it wasn’t far. Cassandra would have a talk with Edward, about having some faith in her to stay out of danger. Sure it was harder than it seemed, but she could convince the man, she did so for many other things, especially the two being together right now, and that almost kiss to the finish. For that short moment, she thought about Jaiden, feeling only the tiniest bit guilty that she was. It was a good thing that Edward couldn’t read her thoughts; otherwise she was sure he would have taken that thought in the wrong way.

The girl knew that Edward absolutely found it frustrating that he couldn’t read her thoughts, but it was a life saver for her. Especially when it came to thinking about his family – and just what he was actually requesting her doing. Meeting the family was a big thing for her, especially when she never had a serious relationship to start with. The fact that this relationship was more than just a relationship, as she found her soul mate as she liked to put it, made it all that more nervous for her. It was just that she only had one chance to make things right. Edward could say whatever he wanted about his parents already liking her, but there was just something in the pit of her stomach that made her lurch forward when she thought about his mother. Cassandra had to make a good impression with her. She was sure that Rosalie was saying awful things on her part, things that went against what Edward would say about her. She sighed mentally, closing her eyes for a moment as Edward continued to drive, and her thoughts continued to swirl around all that they had to do when they would return. Talk about all the things Edward was avoiding, and then somehow, in the middle of all that, try to visit his family – she knew she had to do it sooner or later, she couldn’t avoid it forever.

If only she knew how confident Edward saw her as, maybe it would have made an impact, maybe it wouldn’t have. She knew she could do anything she set her mind to; it was just this one thing that shook her a bit. Fighting or facing vampires? Oh no, that was nothing compared to getting on the good side of the family. The idea slightly made her smile as she continued to look at the road. It was strange; she could see why Edward found it amusing. A normal person would have found it scary to be in a house full of vampires that could easily kill you. But no, Cassandra found herself worrying about the idea that she wasn’t going to be accepted by his whole family. Well she already knew that a few in his family or so one in the family wasn’t so found for her entering their life. Her eyes glanced over at the rear view mirror for a second to look at Alice and Jasper in the backseat. At least she had the pair of them on her side, or well Alice – she was starting to become really good friends with the vampire. Her hand found itself touched by a cold stone like hand, and only looked over at Edward when they intertwined fingers. Instantly she calmed down, her heart beat only slowing down and forgetting about all the worries that overcame her moments ago.

The group of them arrived at the airport soon enough in the silent car ride. The last time she was here was when she had arrived and hadn’t bothered to come back again. She unbuckled her seat belt with her free hand just as Alice spoke, loving over her seat at the other. So they had some time together before they had to be separated. But as Edward moved around the car to open her side of the door, she couldn’t help but give a small laugh. “I’m saved once more.” She spoke easily as she helped take one of her bags to carry into the airport with the others. It didn’t take them too long to check in their bags and get the tickets printed out for the flight. Her gate ended up being on the opposite end of where Edward’s was, and the pair of them made their way there, five minutes before it was time to board. “Here, just so you don’t forget about me so easily.” Cassandra gave a small laugh as she pulled a necklace off her. It was normally not scene as it was longer than most of her shirt’s necklines. It was a leather cord with a stick like pendant hanging from it that initialed ‘courage’ on it in tiny letters. “Better not lose it.” Cassandra tipped toe just a bit, putting it over his neck and staying close to him still. The girl gave the smallest of smiles to him, letting her hands find their way to Edward’s cheek. Cassandra leaned up and over towards the cold lips, letting them rest there for longer than she had planned.

It was harder than she thought pulling away from Edward. But she knew she had to – not only because she was going to be late in catching her plane, but also for the fact if her scent was still on Edward when he got off, which she was sure it probably would be, other vampires would surely question where it came from. The last thing she wanted to do was give him a hard time while he was there. Taking a deep breath, she took a step away from him. “I’ll leave you a message when I get off. Just make sure to give me a call when you get the chance.” Cassandra held back giving another kiss. Instead she smiled, letting go of Edward’s hand and picking up her small handheld bag, she made her way to the woman checking the tickets, and only once did she look back over at him before she entered the terminal. She had done this plenty of times. Leaving friends for a few days to go elsewhere. But this was different, and a part of her felt a bit empty as she made her way onto the plane, moving through the isle to find her seat near the middle. She was lucky enough to have a single seat on her side. Placing her things away, and her purse under the seat in front of her, she leaned back and closed her eyes for a brief moment. It was time to go back to part of her old life, she had to remember who she was once before. She couldn’t wait till all this would be over.

EDWARDCULLENBefore he knew it Edward was standing with Casey at her gate. Alice and Jasper had already broken away to go find the gate that they were supposed to be at. Edward looked down at her for a second as she started speaking. He raised an eyebrow slightly as she removed something from around her neck. He just gave her a small smile. “As if I could forget about you.” Edward said with a soft laugh. This was the moment he had been dreading all day. Even though he wouldn’t be away from her for just a few days he hated standing here seeing her go. He tried his best to push those thoughts from his mind and make these last few moments great, something that would give him just a little glimpse of what he would be looking forward to when he finally saw her again. She spoke again and he just smiled. “You know me.” He said softly as he leaned down just a little realizing that she was trying to put the necklace around his neck. He smiled at her once he raised his head again and then he felt her move closer touching her soft lips against his own. Too soon she pulled away from him and he mustered up a small smile as he looked down at her again. He didn’t want to leave her. He wished that he could just go with her wherever it was she was going. She was speaking again and he nodded. He would call her as soon as they were on the way to Tanya’s house. “I’ll see you in a few days.” Edward said softly as she pulled away from him completely. He stuffed his hands into his pockets as she started to walk away. He stood in that same place until she disappeared through the small door to get to her plane. When he had turned around to look at him he gave her a small smile and a wave. After she was gone he drew in a deep breath and turned around to go back and meet up with the rest of his family. It didn’t feel right leaving her, but he knew he had to. He had to go to Alaska for whatever this ‘surprise’ was. He just knew that it better be good for him to have to be separated from Casey because of it.

EDWARDCULLENIt felt like ages before Edward and his family had gotten on the plane. Maybe it was just because he felt alone, more alone than he used to. He stood up—leaving the chairs for the humans—leaned against one of the walls as he waited for the boarding to begin. Once they were finally on the plane that felt like it took much longer than it usually did as well. He and his family had traveled to and from Denali many times before because of the strong ties his family possesses with Tanya’s. But never before did it feel like it had taken this long to actually get to the other place. Edward had been seated next to Esme, which he had found odd that Carlisle and Esme didn’t sit together but he hadn’t really minded it. He did notice that she gave him an odd look just about every time he looked at his watch. He would just smile over at her for a little while before he looked back out the window. She was worried about him for some reason; he didn’t have a clue why though. He just tried to reassure her that everything was okay. Maybe it wasn’t that he was worried about him for his sake he was just worried about Casey as much as Edward was. Esme knew from what Edward had told her that Casey seemed to be good at getting herself in bad situations, so what would happen if she managed to do the same thing when he wasn’t around to help her out of it. For a moment Edward wished that he hadn’t been seated next to Esme just because her worry was starting to make his much worse than it had been before. He sighed leaning his head back against the seat. He knew how long it was going to take them to get to Fairbanks, and then from Fairbanks to Denali though he found himself on edge the whole time. He just wanted to get all of this over with but it seemed to be taking much, much longer than he had ever imagined it could take. It was as if time was moving slower than it usually did when he and Casey were apart.

EDWARDCULLENBy the time Edward and the rest of his family had finally gotten off the plane in Fairbanks renting a few cars so that they could drive the two and a half hour drive to Denali. Though Edward knew that if he was one of the ones that was driving he would probably be there in around an hour and a half. It took much too long for them to actually get there. Edward was so impatient with everything at the moment. He sighed as they finally drove up to the house and he saw the odd way that it was decorated. He raised an eyebrow and looked at Alice. “You wouldn’t happen to know what all of this is, would you?” He asked looking back through the rear view mirror for a second his eyes locking with hers. She just smiled at him, yet again thinking about something really hard, something that didn’t have anything to do with what he was now talking about. “There isn’t a point in asking. You know that I cannot tell you.” She laughed and Edward just let out a sigh. He was already tired of this, he just wanted to go home. He wanted to be with Casey again but no he was here at this place for a reason that no one would tell him. He ignored Alice as he turned around for a moment looking behind them. The other’s hadn’t exactly caught up with them yet. Alice noticed it and she just gave him a smile. “I think we should wait for them. You aren’t the only one that doesn’t know anything, Edward.” He ignored what she was saying again. He turned off the car and got out. The snow was still falling and he could hear the soft crunching of the snow under his feet. Once Carlisle and the others got there they would all go and greet Tanya and her family as they did every time they came to visit their close friends.

KEENANSUMMERSRevenge. It was one of the many needs that seemed to follow humans after they turned into a vampire. Keenan Summers was on a mission to avenge the death of someone who was close to him. It wasn’t usual for him to make friends with a human but when he did that relationship was much stronger than many of the other relationships that he had ever been a part of. Now he was finding out that his friend had been a human of all people that it could have been a human had been the person to get the best of her. As soon as he had gotten the new Keenan found himself in search of this human that had been the cause of this friend’s death. After what felt like years, even though he was sure it had only been a few weeks at most, he had found his way to Nevada. He knew he was in the general area that the person had disappeared to but now it was only that he had to search down this person so that he may be able to get that revenge that he so desperately needed. Keenan wasn’t exactly sure what he was doing in these parts. He knew that he was going to have to beware of the sun but that didn’t stop him from getting what he needed. There was so much he had found out about this man. He seemed to be some kind of serial killer. Not only was he going to be getting revenge for his friend but he was also going to be saving a few more people from this mad man.

KEENANSUMMERSThat is why Keenan was now walking down the dark streets he was now on. He was still searching for this man, any humans that eh thoughts might be targets for the man Keenan kept an eye on. It was new to him he had never been very good at tracking people down so now here he was in search of a human that he didn’t have a sent for or a face or anything of that kind of thing. It took him a lot of searching around looking at missing person’s reports trying to map out where he might have struck before he actually attacked his friend. That was the way he had actually found his way here. No one really gave him a second glance as he walked past. He didn’t have a clue what he was doing. He knew what his goal was but he didn’t really have the best plan for actually finding this man. He didn’t have plan at all he was just walking around looking for signs that weren’t there. He drew in a deep breath as he walked in to a nice looking hotel. He got a room thinking that it would be a good place for show as well as a place that he could stay during the day.

OOC: Yeah I might edit this >.<
Keenan was getting on my nerves and I think I have done just about all I can with Edward.

It all happened so quickly for her, she didn’t even know where to start when she thought about it. Cassandra had gotten off the plan a few hours after she had settled down to take off. Nevada was not too far off from where they were once before, and she only had one luggage with her purse to carry along. Her friend said she was unable to meet up with her today, and in all honesty, Cassandra hadn’t mind it at all. From the boring plan ride and the anxiety from being away from Edward, she was completely worn out. With her hair now tied up in a messy bun with pieces of hair falling out everywhere, Cassandra made her way to get a taxi and head off to the hotel where she had reserved a room for the stay. It was offered to her to stay at her friends place, but the girl thought it was best for her to stay out of everyone’s way during the competition, and just keep in the shadows so no one really recognized her too well. And well, after all that had gone on over at Forks, it was nice to have a place of her own, with no surprise visits into her private room. Cassandra watched through the glass of the cab window in the backseat, watching the clouds only grow darker as they got closer to the hotel she was staying at. A deep sigh escaped her lips as she knew the weather wouldn’t be looking any better than it was now. The driver looked back at her from the rearview mirror, only to stop whatever he was going to say and arrive at the hotel, right near the door so she wouldn’t get drenched from the sudden rain that had picked up.

Cassandra had taken her bags into the lobby once she had paid the taxi driver his pay with a generous tip to add on top. It was easy enough to have to check in as she was the only guest staying that day. Apparently not many came outside of Las Vegas when they were visiting Nevada. She didn’t mind as she made her way into her room on the second floor, placing her key in her purse before pushing her bag off to the side. The first thing she did was check her phone once she had settled down. She knew Edward wouldn’t have gotten off the plane by now, but she called him and left him a message, letting him know that she was already at her hotel and she was just going to go and get something to eat before she would try to call him again. She left the same text message to him too, just encase. Cassandra didn’t know what to as she looked at the room service. None of the food looked to appetizing. Instead, Cassandra took her purse and left her room, the hotel, and headed down the street to a small mom and pop shop she had remembered passing in the taxi. Cassandra was never wary when she was walking the streets alone at night; she knew how to take care of herself. But ever since she had left the hotel, she had a strange feeling that someone was watching her, possibly even following her. Maybe it was just her jitters getting the best of her since she was away from Edward for more than a few hours. The girl paused in her strides, looking behind her as she watched one of the headlights disappear from the streets.

Taking a deep breath, she started to shrug, just as she felt her feet disappear from the ground and her neck being strangled, causing her problems from screaming. There was something that suddenly blocked her sense of smell. There was a bit of a gag that wanted to come out form the strong smell the napkin held against her nose and mouth, but it lasted all about twenty seconds before her body had gone limp. Looking over her shoulder was the last thing that Cassandra had remembered. She hadn’t felt her body being dragged into a car, nor the thump her luggage made when the man said he was her father at the front desk and taken her things from the card he found in her purse. Her things were taken as well, stuffed in the trunk, while she was taking up the backseat of the tinted windows of the car. The car ride, if she was awake, would have been about two hours from where she was, taking her to the border of Nevada away from any civilization. The sky was clear, but the rain kept fall as the man parked his car in his garage, or the house’s he was currently borrowing garage. The bags were taken out first, just thrown into the living room along with her purse, everything rattling around with it. Cassandra’s body was dragged by the tall built man, horn rimmed glasses and all.

Tanya was excited. More excited than she had ever been for a long time. If she had a heart, it would be beating out of her ribcage, she was sure of it. Her senses were heightened even more now that she was on this rush. Did every woman feel this way when they planned their wedding? When they were getting married to the man, or in her case the vampire they loved? The strawberry blonde vampire went from the kitchen to the window, to the backyard picking out a few things, to the window, to her bedroom, and then to her window again. She waited patiently for the Cullen’s to arrive, it had been far too long since she had seen them, seen Edward and heard his stories of this new girl Casey. In honesty, she was hurt the first time Edward had rejected her feelings, but it was way before Casey had come into the picture. She understood that he would never return the feels she shared for him that time. But things had changed so dramatically since then, she had fallen in love, real love, and what Edward shared with Casey, was finally understood. Her hands balled into a visit as she finally saw the car pull up, Edward and the others coming out. Her smile widen as her golden honey colored eyes shined bright. “They’re here.” But there was no reason to speak it, as the door was already open and the chill from outside came over her as the rest of her family smiled at the Cullen’s entering.

“Alice! He looks just as surprised as I thought him to be.” Tanya spoke happily once the family was well inside, jackets off and all. She gave the future seer the biggest hug one could give without killing the other. The woman was only doubtful for a short time that Alice might not be able to keep the secret away from Edward; he had a habit of having to read others minds when he wanted to know something. Tanya made her way to Carlise and Esme, thanking them personally for coming so far for this, and the others as well before she made it to Edward, giving him the same hug she gave Alice. “Oh Edward, I’m so glad you’re here! You wouldn’t believe the day I’m having.” How she was grateful for Edward having to sent Gabriel here, her Gabriel she was now marrying. “Edward, I want you to be his best man! Gabriel would have said it himself,….honestly where is he?” Tanya looked to her sister who only shrugged as she was busy with preparations as well. “We have everything done! Tomorrow morning will be the ceremony in the yard, a winter wonderland, don’t you think?” It wasn’t as if vampires could actually feel the cold as they were cold themselves, and it was like Tanya to have something playful and magical like, what woman didn’t?

Cassandra did not have the slightest clue as to where she was, what happened to her, or where the pounding headache was coming from. She felt something cold trickling down her left arm, and instantly jerked away, only to realize her hands and feet were bound, along with her mouth by tap. Cassandra wasn’t stupid, she instantly started to work on her hands as her mind raised to what was going on – only coming to the conclusion she was kidnapped. It didn’t help her heart as it beat only faster, panic and terror rising in her. Her hands started to burn from the rope itching against it, but she was able to break one of her hands free before she quickly took the other one out, taking the tape off her lips and getting in a good deep breath. It was dark, and every time she moved, she it into something. The last thing she wanted to do was make too much noise. Within five minutes, she was able to move around freely – but to her surprise, every part of her body ached with pain. Her hand found a door knob and turned to open it just the slightest, getting the light of the kitchen first. Peeking around, she took a glance around the place – no one was in sight at the moment. Her things, she had to find her things first. She needed to contact the police – Edward. She had to hear Edward’s voice.

Cassandra took a knife that was on the kitchen counter and brought it with her, peeking past every corner to make sure whoever took her was out of sight. Her things were nowhere in sight so she took the cordless phone, trying to see if she could run outside to call the cops. But before she could even make it out of the front door, a tall built bald man with horned rimmed glasses was standing there, with the most greedy look in his eyes. Her breath was caught in her throat as she made a run back towards the kitchen where the backdoor was, the man quickly following behind her in large steps. Cassandra tried to open the lock, but with her shaking hands it came to no avail and she found herself being thrown across the room to hit the isle by the man. Something else crashed down alongside Cassandra and she felt her body ache even more, something trickling alongside her forehead. But she didn’t stop, she got back up as quickly as she could, knife tightly held in hand and made a run for anywhere where she thought it would be safe, trying for the door once more. Every where she went, he was there, trying to get at her again. The best she did was slice him a couple of times before she had lost the knife in another battle, the man crushing her arm to make her drop it.

Running and running Cassandra tried to find another way out, tried to get the phone once more, tried to scream for help. But it was getting worse as she made a run for the attic, as everything else was blocked and the man lost sight of her. Cassandra was trembling as she tried to walk carefully from the creaking of the attic floor. But before she knew it, she heard the wicked words from the older man and he was after her again. Cassandra threw a glass vase at him, hitting him square on the face, causing blood marks to finally show. The man quickly grabbed a chair from the side and swung it towards Cassandra’s right side, knocking her down to the ground, only to have the floor crack and fall apart, the female’s frame falling back down to the kitchen floor, unconscious. The man looked down at her from the distance he was standing, hoping that she wasn’t dead, she couldn’t be, not yet. He quickly made his way down the attic and to the kitchen, he needed to finish this and clean it up before anyone knew she was gone. It had already been past twelve hours, longer than he normally takes for this kind of job.

EDWARDCULLENAs Edward got out of the car he looked down at his cell phone. He hadn’t actually had time to check it between getting off the plane and getting the cars so that they could actually go to Denali. He saw that he had a voice-mail message and a text message. He drew in a deep breath deciding to listen to the voice mail first. He smiled hearing her voice as she told him that she was okay, that she had made it to the hotel and she was going to get something to eat. After he finished listening to the voice mail he went through his phone to read the message. It basically said the same thing. He drew in a deep breath as Alice looked at him with a smile. “You see, Edward. Everything is going to be okay.” He managed to give her a smile back before she started ushering him off towards the front door of Tanya’s home. Before he could even knock on the door Kate opened the door giving him a warm smile. Everyone was in the house and Tanya came down. She seemed happier than Edward had ever really seen her before. He just smiled as he looked around. Everything was so different from the last time that he had been there. He heard Alice say something to Tanya in the background. “You know I wouldn’t let you down.” And then that laugh of hers. He continued to look around. He already knew what was up, as soon as he had walked in the door he could hear it from almost everyone’s thoughts—other than his own families. Tanya was getting married to Gabriel. The same Gabriel that Edward had informed of Tanya’s little family just a while back. He was surprised at the fact that they had been getting married, but was this really the secret that he was going to be married? He didn’t know why that was the huge secret that they had been keeping. What was the point in keeping the fact that she was getting married from him? He was extremely happy for her, to know that after all this time she had finally found her own special someone. She just had to wait a bit longer than most other people did. Edward had found that person in Casey so he knew exactly what Tanya was feeling like at this moment, maybe not exactly seeing as he and Casey aren’t set to be married yet. He could imagine the elation that was flowing through her and to tell the truth it was as if it was radiating off of her. He could sense it from everything thought that seemed to be floating his way from her. He just smiled at her as she came to stand in front of him.

EDWARDCULLENTanya had taken the time to greet everyone in his family, and he seemed to be the last one. He gave her a warm smile as he leaned down just a little to return the embrace that she laid upon him. He nodded a little. “I am extremely happy for you.” He said with a smile as they pulled away from each other. “It’s about time that you found someone.” With a genuine smile on his lips he continued to listen to what she said to him. The words that Tanya spoke next seemed to draw everything together for him. He actually ‘got it.’ Why had they kept it from him? Because for some reason they had decided that he was going to be the best man. It was odd for him to think about, he barely knew Gabriel and he had always thought that Carlisle was closer to Tanya. He wasn’t down about it though. He gave her a smile not hiding his emotions from this woman. She was family to him, someone that would always be around if he needed help just as she would be there for him. “I am honored, Tanya.” Edward said softly before he leaned down just a little to give her another hug. He heard her saying that the wedding was going to be tomorrow. He nodded a little as he looked around for just a bit. Gabriel wasn’t really around anywhere, Edward would track him down eventually but right now he had something else on his mind. He gave Tanya one more small smile. “Congratulations, but could you excuse me for a few minutes?” Edward asked giving Tanya an apologetic look. “There is just something I have to do.” He said looking towards Alice for a second who was giving him an odd look. She knew what he was going to do, but he didn’t understand why she was looking at him in the way that she was.

EDWARDCULLENEdward walked outside taking his phone out of his pocket again. He dialed up Casey’s number knowing that he desperately wanted to talk to her now. He had so much to tell her. He needed to let her know that there was nothing to worry about. Everything that she seemed to have been worried about was in vain. Tanya had only wanted him to be the best man in her wedding, her wedding. That was something that Edward had honestly never expected to come here and find. He closed his eyes with a small smile on his face. Though It seemed as if Casey might be busy with something else. “Hey, Casey. I was just going to let you know I got your message. I am in Denali now and I have a lot to tell you. Call me as soon as you can. Bye.” He closed the phone not really thinking twice that she hadn’t picked up. He walked back into the house. He looked around for just a second. He had promised Casey that he would try to have a good time and he was sure that the food around here would be much different than that which was in Forks. Maybe he could have a good time out there; she had said something about him hunting. He looked at Alice and Tanya for a moment before he gave them both a soft smile. “I am just a bit hungry and it’s been ages since I hunted in Alaska. I will be back in an hour or two.” Edward didn’t exactly wait for a reaction from them because to tell the truth he didn’t exactly care. He was going to go hunting if he wanted to.

KEENANSUMMERSWalking, walking, walking. That had been just about the only thing Keenan had been doing for a long time. He thought that he had gotten close, that he had finally made it to the place that he thought he should be. Everything told him that this was the place and yet there was no sign of this man anywhere. It only upset Keenan further as he walked down the dark streets again and again finding nothing each time he walked through the streets. He drew in a deep breath pushing the thoughts from his mind. There was no way for him to change the things that had happened. He sighed again. A lone car drove past him and he stared after it for a moment before he continued walking around. He had a bad feeling. An odd feeling in a way. Like there was something trying to tell him that he was close, but yet still far away. He knew the patterns. This man didn’t take long to actually kill the people that he abducted. What if he had actually gotten someone tonight, then he would be too late to save that person and he would see another front page story to show him how late he actually was. He closed his eyes, deciding that if he had this horrible feeling than maybe he should just follow it for right now. Roll with it just a little bit. He closed his eyes for a moment just trying to follow his instincts for a moment. Maybe it would be easier that way. He drew in a deep breath and then let his body seem to pull him off in some sort of direction. He had been obsessed with finding this person for weeks; maybe he had actually found his calling. If he could actually find this man without knowing who he was, his scent, or any other important fact that came down to tracking someone.

EDWARDCULLENThe whole time Edward was hunting his phone was vibrating in his pocket. He never answered because the first time he had looked at the number that appeared on his phone was Rosalie’s. He didn’t feel like talking to her at all at the moment. Why would he want to? He just continued running through the soft snow that was falling on the ground. He didn’t know where he was going exactly at the moment he hadn’t picked up any scents that he felt like chasing after. Though soon after the wind shifted and he caught a more appealing scent than any of the others that he had caught while he was running through the wilderness. He turned around quickly and started to run in the opposite direction, his phone was still vibrating in his pocket. While he continued running closer he had noticed that there was more than one animal in the same region. He had passed by a few caribou and then soon after he stopped. He was standing at about the center of where all of the animals were. He drew in a deep breath and tried to single out the scents. There were a couple of gray wolves to around the north east and to the south there were also few caribou. There were also a few lynx as well to his east. He drew in a few more deep breaths, trying to decide which one it was he was going to attack, or at least which one it was he was going to first. He closed his eyes and started to run to the north-east. He had decided on the wolves first, they were rather big around here. He moved silently through the brush the only sound that he was paying attention to was the soft sound of his phone in his pocket as well as the sound of the wolves ahead of him. He drew in another deep breath, there were at least three of them and he was sure at least one was a male, a bit larger than the rest of them. When they were finally in his few he crouched down a bit still running a little trying to make sure that he would stay unnoticed by the wolves until the moment that they wished to know of his presence. As he got closer he crouched down more and was almost to a stop before he pounced on the largest of the wolves. The others had ran off before Edward had gotten done with the largest wolf. He didn’t feel like tracking them down again. With the first taste of blood he wanted more, he turned around and ran back towards where he had gotten the scent of the lynx. He drew in yet another deep breath as the lynx finally came into view, but before he had gotten close enough to pounce on which one they all looked up at him. He stopped as he saw them all stand up and run away. He wasn’t going to chase them and he guessed it was about time he had finally answered his phone.

EDWARDCULLENWhen Edward pulled the phone out of his pocket he looked down at the number, it wasn’t Rosalie calling anymore it was Alice. He opened up the phone and held it to his ear. “Hello?” He spoke into the phone. As he lifted his other arm to whip a bit of blood off the corner of his mouth. ”Edward? Why haven’t you been answering your phone? I have been trying to call for the last hour. Do you know how important this really is?” Edward noticed a hint of anxiety behind her voice. “I was just about ready to go out looking for you myself.” Alice said still in the same voice. Edward wasn’t really sure about what to think of her words. She seemed upset by something thought there was something else behind her voice that he couldn’t really pinpoint exactly what it was. He drew in a deep breath sighing just a bit as he started to walk back towards the house. “What’s wrong? You wouldn’t have kept trying to call me if there wasn’t something that you thought I should know.” He said a bit impatiently. Though there was a short pause on the other line and behind he could hear Carlisle telling her to get on with it. Edward drew in a deep breath. “Edward, it’s Casey.” She paused again and Edward stopped dead in his tracts his body went ridged and he wasn’t sure what was wrong at all though he knew that it couldn’t be anything good at all. “What abo—“ Edward had started to speak before Alice cut him off. “She’s missing. I don’t know where she is. I had a vision and I wasn’t sure what it was. It was too dark to see anything and—“ She cut off for just a second. Edward was running now. He wasn’t sure what he was going to do, but he was going to do something. Just before he closed the phone and pushed it back into his pocked he heard Alice speak again. “Edward! You know it’s sunny in Nevada there is no way—“ He hadn’t even thought about that. He just ran. He didn’t know what he was going to do. All he knew was that he felt like he was going to have a panic attack or something. What was he going to do if something happened to her? His breath was coming faster as he ran quickly through the forest dodging the tress. He was running quickly trying to stay in the cover of the trees most of the time, though when he had to run through more populated areas he was just a bit more careful. He was sure they wouldn’t be able to see him and really the only thing he wanted to do at the moment was get back to Forks. Though what would it really do him when he did get there. Casey wasn’t even there. But what was he supposed to do. He had no idea where Casey was, she was supposed to be somewhere in Nevada but she might not. She was missing, or at least that it what Alice had said. He thought that he was going to go crazy just thinking that there was something wrong. He just knew that he had to do whatever he could to make sure that he finds her before anything else happens. The first thing that he thought he could do was go to her house and see if Annissa knew. At least if Annissa knew that she was missing she might be able to tell Edward where it might be a good idea to look for her.

EDWARDCULLENOnce Edward had finally made it back to Forks the sun had already gone down, though it was still raining rather hard he didn’t go straight towards his house. He didn’t slow down as he neared the small town. He still was unsure if Annissa had known, and he had no clue were Casey was, would it help at all if he ran off towards Nevada trying to find her? Edward sighed as he drew closer to Casey’s house. He was really hoping that Annissa was at home. What would she be doing? Noah was out of state wasn’t he? She couldn’t be with him. He actually wasn’t even listening for her thoughts when he had come up. It just seemed that the fact that Casey was missing, and he had no idea if she was okay or not seemed to scramble his mind a bit. He wasn’t thinking clearly, just because of the fact that Casey was missing it seemed like a fog was pushed over Edward. He drew in a few deep breaths as he looked up at the house for a long moment. He couldn’t hear anything, or at least he wasn’t listening enough to hear any of it. What was he going to do if something bad had happened with Casey? He drew in a deep breath and knocked on the door and then he took a step back drawing in another deep breath. What was Annissa going to think when she walked out the house to see him standing there? He knew he must look horrid. He felt half crazed and his clothes were soaked because he had been running through the rain for the past few hours. He closed his eyes for a moment and just walked back and forth for a few moments pacing in front of the house. He hadn’t even really thought up what he was going to say to Annissa if she was home anyway. What was there to say? He couldn’t think of anything. He just thought that maybe she could help out, she didn’t want Casey dead anymore than Edward did could she? He knew that siblings did have arguments even if he did hate Rosalie sometimes he would never want her to get hurt. It must be the same way with Casey and Annissa. He drew in a deep breath as he finally walked up to the door and knocked a part of him didn’t even want to bother with trying to ask Annissa where Casey had actually gone, but he knew he had to. When she opened the door he looked at her, there was a bit of surprise that plagued her features. “I know that you might not trust me, but please just listen. Something is wrong.”

KEENANSUMMERSKeenan hadn’t been sure how long he had been running or what direction he was actually running in he just knew that there was something that was pulling him in the direction that he was going. He slowed down to a walk though looking around. There wasn’t much around him and he had an odd feeling about the place that he was in. After standing in the same spot for a few minutes he heard a sound. It didn’t feel right, so he followed the sound and the sounds continued. After a few more seconds he was sure that something wasn’t right in the house he was standing in front of. He didn’t hesitate in kicking the door so that it would open. He could smell blood and without a thought he ran to the source. He ran into a room finding a girl laying in the floor unconscious with debris around her. He heard footsteps and then he was face to face with the person that he had been searching for for so long. The man stared across at him, Keenan only thinking that with his slender frame the man would think it would be an easy fight. “I’ve been looking for you for a very long time.” Keenan said with a small smile as he stepped towards the man, the man that didn’t show any fear despite the red eyes that stared back at him. The man went to grab something to hit him and Keenan just grabbed it from him. “Should I kill you slowly?” He asked with a smile as he hit the man with what turned out to be a piece of wood. “I am thinking so.” Keenan said with a smile as he grabbed the man from the arm pulling him from the room. His lips turned up in an evil smile. It felt so good to get that revenge, that one thing that he had been searching for for the past few weeks. He closed his eyes for just a second taking in the moment before he did what he knew he must do.

KEENANSUMMERSLater on the blonde male walked back through the house covered in blood. He looked down at the girl that was still laying in the floor. It might have been a good idea for him to take priority with her. He wasn’t sure how injured she was but he thought that he should at least try to get her help. He walked back through the house finding the girls things in the living room. He saw that her purse had been dumped out and he saw the little orange phone sitting on the ground. He looked at it for just a second before he picked it up. Thankfully there wasn’t a password and he saw that there were a lot of missed calls that were under the name of ‘Edward.’ Keenan paused for a second before he pressed the call button and lifted the phone to his ear. He looked out the door as the phone was ringing seeing that the man’s car was still outside. He hated that he had to use it but he knew that he didn’t exactly have a choice. Without another thought he started picking up the bags running them to the car before he came back inside. The other person finally answered the phone. “Casey?” Keenan could hear the desperation in that familiar voice; he could also hear another voice in the background, a softer one. He drew in a deep breath as he walked back through the house going back to the kitchen where the girl—Casey?—was still laying in the floor. He leaned down to pick her up before he answered. “No. I’m sorry.” The voice on the other line started talking again. He was speaking too fast and there was a loud noise in the background and it had actually been a bit hard for Keenan to hear. “Hold your horses for just a second! She is fine, for the most part… I think.” Keenan paused. He heard something on the other line before the man on the other side started speaking again. “Who are you and why do you have her?” There was a bit of anger in his voice. For a moment Keenan thought that he had been directing that anger towards him because the other man thought that he had been the one that was hurting this girl. “It’s not what you think it is. I am Keenan Summers and I have been looking for the man that hurt her for a very long time now.” he paused for a second. He wasn’t sure what to say. The person on the other line paused. “Keenan!?” The voice paused and there seemed to be a bit of a tone change in his voice. “Edward Cullen… you remember where my family lived in Forks, Washington?” That almost made Keenan stop as he leaned down just a bit to set the girl down in the passenger seat, bucking the seat belt. This was Edward Cullen? Wow. Keenan really hadn’t been expecting that one. “Yes… You want me to take her there then?” Keenan asked as he walked around to the other side of the car. “Yes. Please. I will be here waiting for you… Can I speak to her?” Keenan drew in a deep breath as he turned the car around looking at where he was for a moment trying to find the closest interstate. “She is unconscious right now. If she had been awake I would have had her call you.” Keenan said softly. “Oh, okay. I will see you soon then.”

EDWARDCULLENEdward had been standing at the front door when Keenan had called. He had been in the middle of speaking to Annissa and she understood that he had to answer the phone call once she saw that it was coming from Casey’s phone. Edward just drew in a deep breath as he got off the phone and looked back towards Annissa. After a few minutes Annissa had talked him into letting her take him to his house and wait for Keenan who was on his way to the house now. Edward wasn’t sure how long it would take, he hadn’t really had any information about when the other would be getting there. He was sitting in the passenger side of Annissa’s car while he gave her directions to his home. Once they were finally there he got out of the car and took Annissa into the house. “I’m not sure when he will get here. But I did know him years ago she’ll be safe with him.” Edward said softly as he looked around the house for a moment. It was dark seeing as the rain had been a bit worse than usual today. He moved to turn on the light since the light from the windows wasn’t exactly enough to light the room. After a second or two he looked at Annissa “You will be okay by yourself down here, right?” Edward wasn’t exactly sure how comfortable she was going to be with being here. “I am going to go upstairs and change.” His clothes were soaked from running through the rain so he needed to change clothes before Keenan got there. He gave Annissa a small smile. “You can look around if you would like. There might be food in the kitchen if you are hungry but I’m not making any promises.” Edward said with a soft laugh before he turned away and started walking up the stairs towards his bedroom. He closed the door behind him drawing in a deep breath and leaned against the door for a moment. He knew that Casey was okay now, she was with someone who would take care of her but he knew he wouldn’t be at rest until she was here with him, until he could look at her with his own eyes and make sure that she was okay. After a few minutes Edward took out his cell phone and pressed Tanya’s number before he put it on speaker phone and walked over to his closet. For a moment he really, really hoped that she wouldn’t answer the phone. Just because he didn’t think he could take talking to her right now. He felt really guilty for leaving like he had, but what other choice did he have? Casey was in trouble and no offence to anyone else in his life, but she was the most important thing to him. If something had happened to her he didn’t have a clue what he would do. He closed his eyes for a moment when her voice mail picked up thankfully.

EDWARDCULLENHe quickly grabbed a new pair of closed and walked out of the closet. “Hey, Tanya. I am honestly really sorry that I left.” He paused for just a second as he slipped his wet shirt over his head. “I just didn’t really have any other choice, and I hope you can understand that.” He wasn’t speaking very loudly, for more than one reason. He wanted to keep an ear out for Keenan and he wanted to make sure that everything was also okay downstairs with Annissa. He drew in another deep breath. “I hope you can forgive me. Call me back later. Bye.” He walked over and pressed the end button on the phone before he finished getting changed and walked back downstairs. He drew in a deep breath as he looked around for a few minutes. He wasn’t sure if Casey was going to be awake or not when she got here, so Edward sat down on one of the arm chairs in the living room looking out the window jut thinking of what he was going to do once she got there. He drew in a small breath as he got up. He didn’t like the thought of just leaving her on a couch or sofa, but then again he also didn’t think it would be a great idea to take her into anyone else’s room. Though he did remember something that Esme had said once before when she had been decorating. He walked over to the long white sofa and started removing the cushions from it. He looked at the bare sofa for just a second. He didn’t exactly know how to do it but he did think that it could turn into a bed. He drew in a deep breath as he leaned down and started feeling around for something, really anything that could be whatever it is that makes this thing turn into a bed. Finally he found it and with a smile he managed to actually pull the bed out. He looked down at it for a moment before he drew in a deep breath. “I am going to go get some sheets and a blanket, I’ll be right back.” He said softly to Annissa before he went back up to get the dressings for the bed. It had been a while since they had actually gotten the call from Keenan and by the time that Edward had gotten everything on the bed he heard the sound of a car turning onto the drive. At that moment he turned directly towards Annissa. “They’re here.” He said softly as he walked to the front door to wait for the car to stop in front of the house.

EDWARDCULLENOnce Keenan pulled up close to the front porch Edward could see Casey in the front seat with her head leaned to the side, it looked as if she was still unconscious. Then Keenan got out of the car and he was covered in blood. Edward stared at him almost wide-eyed for a moment. That was before Keenan kinda waved his hand and spoke saying “Don’t worry. It’s not hers.” He paused for a second before he started walking into the house. “Her things are in the car… also is your room still in the same place? I need to change clothes if you can’t tell” Edward just drew in a deep breath nodding his head before he walked out. He opened the door and leaned down just a little picking up Casey. Looking at her was hard for him, it wasn’t because her blood was on her forehead… it was that she was bleeding. He knew she would be hurting when she woke up. He closed his eyes as he tried to hurry up the stairs to get her out of the rain. He walked inside and set her down on the bed that he had made for her. He looked to Annissa for just a second. “Carlisle has a few things upstairs. I’ll go get them.” He said softly as he started up the stairs towards his office. He had gone to school for medicine before so he actually had an idea of how to help her now, even though he wasn’t exactly one hundred percent sure of himself.

Tanya knew Edward would be happy for her, that this was what he wanted for her, to find a man that she would love the way that he loved Cassandra. She couldn't help but smile at him, so glad that he was here, that his family was here, things were only perfect. She let her smile widen when he said he would be honored to be the best man. Things worked out perfectly as she knew they would, she didn't have to see into the future or have to read mines, she just knew Edward would be willing to do it once he was forced into it - he had no way out. The blonde vampire only raised her brow the slightest when he excused himself, looking over at Alice and knowing then that it must have been about 'Casey.' There was just the smallest of grins on her lips as she let him be in private for a minute to call his girlfriend. How strange it was still for her to think that Edward had one, let alone a human one. Still, she wanted him to be happy, and if being happy for him was to be with her, then so be it. But how how she would have loved to hear how Casey had gotten worried over Edward coming here, about how Edward lied that the last time he was here, he was visiting his 'ex.' When he returns, all she does is smile and shrug her shoulders when he request to go hunting.

Annissa was doing her own thing, trying to forget about Noah not being around. She was just about useful as Cassandra was without Edward present. Of course since she had a job and needed to get things done, she was always out and about. The moments when she was alone however, all she could think about doing was calling her wolf boy. Her boss was as nosy as ever, always wanting to know what the woman was up to and if she had her articles done on time. For a good moment, Annissa could have sworn she was the only one actually working there from the pace she was always at. Do this, do that, don't forget to get that in. That was all that the writer ever heard most of the time from her boss. It was only likely for her to want to hear something else from someone else. The woman rolled her eyes mentally as she gave one of her winning smiles from behind her desk to her boss. She was just about an inch away from her phone, wanting to call Noah and complain about the devil that wouldn't leave her alone. Maybe she should have gone along with him on his trip, just stayed out of his way. Then again, they both were a distraction to each other, and that never lead to anything good on both their parts when one or even both of them were on the job. In a way, the pair of them were very similar to her younger sister and her vampire boyfriend - which only made her realize to give him a shot. She took a deep breath, letting her smile fall from her lips as she simply nodded at whatever her boss was saying.

When she had found out that Noah was actually a shifter, a werewolf, she had to admit, she was a little shaken at first, shock mostly. But who wouldn't be when they found out someone they had been dating for over five years turns out to not be completely human? Was it how Cassandra felt when she knew that Edward was a vampire? The woman bit her lip slightly as she clicked a few things on her computer and printed out the few articles that had to be handed in before the next paper was to be published tomorrow. She still had to finish off the article she had been working on for the magazine, which of course was due tomorrow morning as next months issue was to be published. Annissa checked her email quickly before shutting down everything off the computer, letting it fully turn off before she pushed her important papers into a file in her filing cabinet near her. Just as she was putting on her coat, one of her co-workers walked in with a printed paper she had just given earlier in the day. "She says you need to change the last paragraph. It doesn't sound like something our old editor would write." Annissa heard the words and simply rotated her eyes annoyed. "It's because I'm not the old editor. tell Vivian that's all she is getting from me. I'm off for the night, I've been here too long." There was a smile on the other that matched her own as she looked over at the co-worker who agreed with her. The woman wasn't going to stay her any longer than she had already been here, it was past nine at night and she hadn't even had dinner yet.

The writer made her way to her car, checking her phone for any messages and saw that her sister had landed many hours ago. Annissa simply sighed as she knew she would get the time to call her tomorrow, she probably didn't want to hear from her so soon - they were off to a rocky start ever since the incident with Edward and Jaiden. There was voice male from Noah though, and that she could not help but listen to twice, the usual sap was said from the other, the stuff two lovers would say to one another. It made a smile come across her face as she made her way home, taking her time as she tried to figure out what to eat for dinner. Since her sister wasn't around, it meant that she had to cook, which was something the woman was not to fond of, especially having been feed for the last months by her sister who knew how to actually cook. Annissa dropped her purse and laptop bag near the steps as she locked the door behind her - every lock that the door held. She looked around over the house, turning the heat up just a little more once she realized how cold it actually was without Noah around. She thought about it, thinking if anyone else from the pack was around or if they had all gone. She knew Jaiden had gone as well as he was always with the 'detective' to learn more from him.

Sighing in the quietness of the house, she made her way to the kitchen, looking for anything good in the fridge she could eat. Lucky for her, there was extra from last nights dinner that Cassandra had made. Warming up the food, Annissa made her way up to her room to change her clothes, coming down in a pair of light blue sweat pants and a black t-shirt. The beep from the microwave signaled her that her food was ready. But just as she had gotten the bowl in hand and a fork dug into the pasta, she heard the door bell ring. Was she suppose to have guest over that she did not know of? Pressing her lips as she placed her bowl down on the kitchen table, she walked over towards the door, peeking through the whole to see someone she was not expecting, especially when she heard his family was going to be out of town for a few days. Opening the door, Annissa looked at Edward curiously. "Edward, what are you doing here?" The other spoke immediately after she had, as if he had rehearsed this in his head. Annissa tried to take a deep breath, but nothing came, she could only hold her breath in anticipation after hearing the others words. As much as she wanted the question to that, the look that he gave, or tried to hide from her was something that made her worry slightly. "What's wrong?" The woman said as she moved aside to let him in.

Instantly Edward told her what it was he heard, or what Alice had saw. Annissa wasn't sure how this was all possible, especially as they were vampires, but she was willing to except the truth behind it. She could feel herself shaking inside, and had to force herself to sit as Edward continued. Cassandra was missing. In Nevada none the less! She went her phone quickly, calling Noah and hoping he would pick up. Just as she was hearing the third ringer, and a voice finally answer, Edward had gotten a call. The woman was quiet for a second, listening to what Edward was saying before she even started to talk to Noah. The man's voice on the other line grew hard and cold, as if she couldn't even recognize that it was her boyfriend on the other line. She could hear Jaiden bickering on the other line soon when he heard Cassandra's name, and 'missing,' not knowing that the Cullen's were out of town and Edward couldn't be left for blame. Noah had calmed him down a bit before returning to Annissa, saying that he would call once they were near Forks again, see where she was and take it from there. She hadn't had any clue of the wolves not passing certain borderlines, but she would only find out soon enough once the time came. At the moment, she took Edward to her car and they quickly drove back to his house, not wasting any more time.

Tanya was curious as to where Edward had gone when the news had gotten out. Alice might have done her best to let the news only stay in her family, but Tanya was no fool to not know something was wrong. There were few things that worried the pixie girl, the human had to be one of them. Apparently the girl had suddenly gone missing, and she couldn't help but wonder how that could have happened, and if she was alright, alive at least. She couldn't bare the pain Edward would be in if something horrible was to happen to his soul-mate, she couldn't even begin to think of what would happen to her if she lost Gabriel. Edward hadn't gotten home that night, and she knew he was on his way to find Cassandra, and only knew his family would soon follow sure. Honestly, as much as she wished that they would be here for the wedding, she knew that Edward came before her, and that he would need them. She wouldn't be upset at him, not as long as he called her back to know if everything was okay. She even spoke with the other Cullen's, to let them know it was alright, but they had agreed they would stay for the wedding and leave first thing once it was one.

They made it to Edward house, and all Annissa could do is keep on worrying, even if it was her first time here, before Cassandra even had the chance to come. She was left in the living room, and all she did was pace back and forth while Edward went to go change his clothes. She was wet a little, her hair frizzed up from the rain, but nothing that couldn't dry in a few minutes. The next few minutes seemed to go by as if it took forever. Cassandra was still unconscious in the car that Keenan had stolen, and Annissa was still pacing around, watching Edward fix the bed up. When she heard a car pull up, she quickly went to the window, watching a young man, almost the age of Edward come out to ring the door bell. She made her way quickly to follow Edward and instantly all she saw was blood red eyes and blood on his shirt. Annissa was about to freak, thinking it could have been Cassandra's but he quickly corrected her thoughts, as well as Edwards. She watched him carfare as he came in and upstairs to get a change of clothes, knowing that he wasn't human at all, not with those eyes. By the time she looked back, Edward was carrying her sister in and putting her on the bed. "Oh god," Annissa could hear her words shaking as they came out, seeing her sister almost as if she was going to break any second.

Edward had returned quickly with what he sent off to get, letting Annissa first take up one side of the bed. She stood when he came back with what he needed and only curiously looked at him. "Edward, I know you've been around for more than I think, but do you think you can handle this? How far is your father?" Annissa had her trust in Carlisle, as he was the first person she ever met when she came to Forks, and for so many other reasons. She looked down at the blood on Cassandra, knowing she had gone through a lot. "Can you handle it? Casey's...." Annissa wasn't stupid, she knew what attracted Edward to Cassandra had also be her blood, he was a vampire afterall. "If you can't, I can," She paused, looking over from Edward to her sister, knowing that she would do anything for her, "I can help, if you tell me what to do."
