I have been through many tragedies. When I was six my mother divorced my Father. She remarried a man who I don't consider my stepfather, but a truly evil man. When I was ten, I failed a math test. He yelled at me. Hit me. Dragged me upstairs and tied me to the bed. Left me there for a few hours, and Forgot I was there. I yelled for my mother, but she didn't come up. I somehow undid the ropes, to find my mom at the foot of the stairs, a pool of blood around her head. My stepfather was outside with the cops, handcuffed on the ground. They took me to the hospital to have me examined. That's when I found out my ability.

Kai stood on a roof. His horns were kind of black and kind of blue.(Meaning he is sad). He sat down and sighed.

Lindii walked down the street, a cat walking by her side. Her hair swayed at her side to the motion of her steps. Her eyes glanced at the many who passed, full of sadness and thoughts. She looked around and sighed. It had been a few monthes since the tragedy that took her parents. Ever since, she had been homeless. The only thing rightfully hers was her cat, Aijou. She looked up to see a kid on a roof. She stopped and stared at him. She had never seen a kid with horns, or a kid who had ever looked so depressed.
