Jaden wrapped his arms around Gina, trying to comfort her. "Shh, Gina. It's okay," he said then shouted to his aunt, "Aunt Robin, lights went out up here!"

Vivian heard Robin downstairs walking to the garage so Vivian turned off the hallway light, opened Jaden's door slightly, and grabbed Mic's hand. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and slipped through the door, into the dark room.

Gina shook her head and curled up next to Jaden. "No it wont be okay. He killed them," she said into his chest.Mic held onto Vivian so he felt like he could do something. He saw Gina look up and looked away again. She was saying something. "They were excatly like that. Daddy held onto her as if she would go faster if he didn't," Gina said into Jaden's chest.

The lights in the room soon turned back on and Jaden was confused by what Gina had said. However he didn't ask because when he looked up he saw his cousin and Mic looking at them. Vivian gave a small wave with her free hand, glad the lights were on. "Hey Jay," she said with a smirk. This was pretty much payback for earlier. "What the hell Vivi?" he asked, frustrated with her. "Did you and your little boyfriend do that?"

[Lexi Something]

"Heh, about that," Mic said. He walked towards Gina and then she looked up. "You and all your practical jokes. Do you still think this is funny? Huh Mic Devin Sibyl? You have no idea what it is to hurt like this but you think its funny to see me cry everytime you turn the lights off. You know what it does to me. Why don't you just go away?" Gina said then turned away from Mic and Vivian. Mic quietly left the room and waited for Vivian.

"Terribly sorry," Vivian said and left Jaden's room. She looked up at Mic. "Do you know what that was all about?"

Jaden stroked Gina's hair, upset with what those two had done. "That was a horrible joke," he said.

[Lexi Something]

"Long story," Mic said looking away. He knew she was scared of the dark but had forgotten what it had done to Gina.

Gina just nodded the looked up at Jaden. "The dark isn't very nice to me," Gina said softly.

"I have plenty of time," Vivian said then smiled a little. "It's not like we're going to die anytime soon." She said it in a joking way, trying to lift his mood.

"So... What you were saying in the dark. What did you mean?" Jaden asked curiously. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

[Lexi Something]

Mic gave Vivian a little half smile. "Got anywhere we can go?" he asked.

"Oh. Umm, this guy killed my parents when I was littler. I had hid under their bed and saw everything. The way Mic was holding Vivian was how my daddy held onto my momma. Almost like if he didn't she would leave us faster," Gina said with a tear rolling down her cheek.

Vivian nodded and led Mic to her room. Kites in the shape of birds hanging from the ceiling, stuffed animals that were woodland creatures all over, the earthy scent of the outdoors... It filled the room. "Sorry if you don't like it," she said.

Jaden wiped away the tear and frowned. "I'm sorry," he said. He completely understood how she felt.

Mic walked into the room and sat on the chair that looked like a tree stump."Its pretty cool for a room. Well you remember those two pixies that were murdered a while back. They were married and they were found in their bedroom. That was Gina's parents, and since it happened at night I guess the dark triggers that memory. I had forgotten that happened, I just remembered she was scared of the dark. I thought it would of been just a little scream and a tiny freak out. Not this. I feel so stupid," Mic said putting his head into his hands.

"It's not your fault," Gina said. She snuggled closer Jaden. She just wanted to be near someone, someone that couldn't ba taken away from her.

Vivian sat on her legs in front of Mic and rested her head on his lap, looking up at him. "You're not stupid. You just didn't know how bad it was going to be," she said.

Jaden smiled a little and continued to stroke Gina's hair. He then lightly kissed her forehead.

Mic shook his head. "I should of remembered," he said.

Gina smiled a little and looked up at Jaden. "Your really good at making people feel better, you know that?" she said.

"Don't kick yourself around for something you didn't remember," Vivian said, sadness appearing in her eyes.

"I thought I was only really good at pissing people off," Jaden said with a chuckle.

[Lexi Something]

Mic just shrugged. "Then don't be sad for something thats not your fault," he said looking at Vivian.

Gina giggled and hugged Jaden. "You've made me laugh all this time," she said. She squeezed her eyes closed, srunched her nose, and stuck her tounge out.

"Well you're being a downer right now. How am I supposed to stay happy?" Vivian asked then made him smile by putting her hands on each said of his face and using her thumbs to turn the corners of his mouth up.

"It's my job," Jaden said, smiling and hugged Gina back.
