A Little Tragedy Known As Life; I grew up loving stories about mythical creatures. The dancing fairies, intelligent elves, howling werewolves, bloodthirsty vampires… I loved it all. I was adopted by the Liberius family when I was still young, around the age of 10. They are a strange family but they told me all the tales about mythical creatures that I know.

It has been a bit of trouble raising the short tempered elf, especially when Little Jay entered our home. The young elf and human took a disliking to each other at first and it was hard to put up with their fights. I still hate their bickering today when they continue to tease each other.

Jaden hid behind a tree, trying to breathe after the long run. He was trying to hide from Vivian. Their usual game of hide and seek. That she always won. He climbed the tree quickly before she entered the area. Hidden behind a bunch of leaves, he peered down to see the auburn haired girl standing below him. She was quick and light on her feet usually. One reason why he usually lost at this game but, as always, he was determined to beat her.

Vivian stood at the tree, leaning against it with one hand, listening carefully. She never thought of this as a game. More like practice with her senses. "Come on out Jay. You know you won't win," she called out. Her voice sounded like a beautiful melody. Enchanting to humans. She listened carefully to any reaction. There was none at all. "I know he came this direction," she muttered to herself and began to walk forward.

Jaden, seeing Vivian moving away from him, let go of the breath he was holding and moved slightly. He accidentally brushed some leaves with his hand. 's**t,' he thought as he watched his cousin turn back to his direction. "Found you!" she exclaimed as he dropped down from the branch. He started to run in the opposite direction and the chase was on again.

Mic and Gina left the house and went looking for something to do. They walked the empty streets near the woods and gina hear something. "I hear some people, Mic," Gina said pointing over at the woods. "Come on then," Mic said pulling his adopted sister along towards the woods. When they got to the edge of the woods Mic peered through the trees, while Gina peered through the bushes. Who plays hid 'n' seek anymore?" Mic questioned seeing the two people in the woods chasing each other. "Them," Gina said simplely as she walked into the woods. Mic followed closely behind Gina and looked at the two like they were idiots. "May we join you two?" Gina asked watching them chase each other. The girl just as graceful as Mic and the boy just as clumsy as a human.

"Sure," Jaden said in between breaths as he took a sharp turn when he reached a tree. "Just let us finish this round." He was answering for both of them because he knew his cousin wouldn't answer. In fact, all she did was glance at the two strangers before going back to chasing Jaden. She quickly climbed up a tree, trying to confuse Jaden. It had worked. "God, where the hell did she go?" he muttered to himself before she jumped out of the tree and tackled him to the ground."Got you again Jay," she said in that melodious voice. She then looked up at the two strangers. "By the way, I'm Vivian but you can call me Vivi. And this boy-" she gestured to Jaden who was struggling under her "-is Jaden but you can call him Jay." At this point, Jaden had been able to push Vivian off.

Gina smiled at the two and elbowed Mic in the side to make him smile too. "Thank you. I am Gina and this is my brother Mic," Gina said looking at the two. Mic continued to look at the two like they were idiots for playing hid 'n' seek, then looked at his sister smirking. She was so going to fail at this, she hardly even ran, and she was clumsy as a troll. Well from what he had seen of her. "Yea thanks. This is going to be fun," Mic said trying not to laugh at his sister.

Vivian smirked at the two, already thinking she had an advantage. Only way she wouldn't have an advantage is if they weren't human. But then they may have happened to be clumsy... whatever they were. She knew she had an advantage over Jaden but wasn't too sure about the two new players. If they weren't human, this would be a better practice than her usual 'games' with her cousin. "So who's going to be it?" she asked. "I was found last round... Well I was the only person hiding last round. So I guess I'm it," Jaden responded. That flame of determination still burned inside. He had it set in his mind he would beat his cousin one day. "Unless Gina or Mic would like to be the seeker."

"I'm good. I'm better at hiding," Gina said not really wanting to chase the girl with much grace. She looked up at her brother and then at Jaden. "I'm good. I'll hide," Mic said smiling. He didn't like this game but with two clumsy people he could stand it.

Vivian frowned at how it was settled so easily. She actually was hoping that no one would suggest to be it. Jaden just nodded and turned to the tree behind him and began counting to 30. Vivian immediately ran off in one direction, her footfalls quiet. She found a good, tall tree and quickly climbed up it. She hid among the leaves and branches. She heard Jaden's voice in the distance, counting down to the moment he would go searching for everyone.

Mic ran off to the left quietly while Gina ran to the right making her footsteps very loud and noisy. Mic hid in the bushes and looked around for anyone comming his way. Just incase he had to make a getaway.

Gina quietly climbed up a tall tree and jumped to the next tree over ever so quietly. This was going to be fun, maybe she could show up her brother. Considering pixies have indescriblable silence and grace when it comes to running away from people and other creatures.

Jaden finally reached 30 and looked around. Looked like everybody found a hiding place. Now he just had to decide where to look. "I'm starting to think this was a bad idea," he said to himself. He went into the direction that would have been the others' left, peering up into the trees. He was used to playing this game with Vivian and she almost always hid up in the treetops. "Come out, come out," he whispered. He then ran his hand through the leaves of the bushes, hoping to find someone.

Mic quietly retreated from the bushes and quietly climbed a tree. Gina was still hopping from tree to tree. She saw were Vivian was hiding and let out a smal giggle and quickly continued on. She saw where Jaden was and then saw mic climbed a tree and bust out into laughter almost falling out of the tree she caught herself on a branch and looked down to see how far up she was. High enough Jaden wouldn't beable to reach her before she hopped into a different tree after she got herself back onto the branch or the one below her.
