The constant annoying chirp from the alarm clock was starting to try the patience of the eighteen year old that happened to be nestled deep in his dark blue comforter. Despite it being the weekend, it made no help and it seemed to only get more annoying every second then the week days, but today was a little bit different, despite all he wanted to do like a normal teenager was to sleep in on a beautiful Saturday morning, but fate had other plans, well, he had other plans. Those plans wouldn't go into much motion if he stayed in bed any longer, and the annoying clock was about to be toast as the male shifted in his comfort, letting a hand slowly poke out, palm raised towards the sound and a simple push of the mind, the alarm clock slipped off the nightstand, and smashed itself against the wall of his bedroom, letting fall into a million little peices, only for the room to fall into silence, a few birds chirping at his window.

" Adam! Please don't let it be what I think it is.....again, "
The loud booming voice called out from behind the closed white door, then a knock after a shuffle down the creaky stairs, leaving the male to shift again before rising in his half sleeping state, his wild dark brunette hair scattered about, and his hazel brown eyes opening slightly from the dark room, bending forwards he raised his knees, rubbing his eyes as he leaned back again against the headboard of his bed, yawning tiredly. He needed to get up soon or he would be late, well considering the time, later then he was supposed to arrive to meet with Ally, his sorry a** needed a wake up call, and what better day then to try the extent of his gifts. Eyes locked on the blinds, the male held up two fingers adjacent to the window, with a quick push of his mind, his hand swiftly moved up along with the blinds to let in the soft warm rays of sun. It wasn't much only a minor little thing he could do, but its the benefit then walking over to switch on his light, John would have had his neck.

Another yawn crossed the male's lips and he found himself tossing the blankets to the side and sliding his legs onto the floor, rising up to his full height of six foot, his chest bare of his well toned body, the ink that took space upon his chest and along the arms, John hated it but he was eighteen, he couldn't do anything, besides, it made him feel more human and normal. The eighteen year old ran a hand through his wild untamed hair, before he dragged his feet to his bathroom, closing the door and stepping into the shower, nothing beat like a well groomed morning to start off the day.

Adam Halloway was your typical eighteen year old, hormonal human being, he went to school with normal teenagers, ate with normal teenagers, he had a small job busing tables at a small little dinner just a couple of blocks from his long gated home, sure he fell into the category of human, but rather he was special, and no not the "mommy thinks your special" type but rather the " I can move stuff with my mind, tell machines what to do and make stuff happen " kind of special. All the result of being a gineapig to a bunch of scientists working for an organization called ARCH, it was only four short years ago that he had escaped with his caretaker John, an ex researcher gone rouge, and his appointed guardian. It wasn't long after the escaped that they had found this hole in the wall small town, it was cuddly and he loved it, despite the less attention of a loser he got from school, he actually wished he was raised here. and having his best friend, well, he couldn't have done it without her, as sappy as it would sound. She was his ticket to a normal life. Which maybe why he couldn't get any later then he possibly could.

After getting dressed in a pair of dark jeans and a coal gray shirt, Adam slipped on a jacket and tied up his shoes, grabbing his phone and his back pack, he took it everywhere, a quick stash of nessasities and an old habit he couldn't break. Something John had taught him over and over again until it was etched in his instincts. The young male proceeded out of his room, after gathering of whats left of his alarm clock and walked down the rickety old stairs. " well nice to see you so up in the morning, and a weekend no less, " The older male commented as he leaned back with the paper in one hand and the other hand holding a cup of coffee. One look of the dressed male and he already had the initial idea. " a date with Allyson today? " He asked with his brows raised as he took a sip of his coffee. Adam dropped the remains of his clock on the counter, then walked over to the fridge, opening it and finding it's contents so interesting. " It's not a date, we're not going out. We're just....hanging out, like all the other times, " He mentioned rolling his eyes as he grabbed himself a water. John, smirking lightly as he placed the folded paper on the table. " Yeah, I'm sure thats what the kids are calling it these days, " He chuckled, lost in memories of his own childhood, before he locked eyes on the dismembered clock.

" another one Adam? How many times do I have to tell you to use the button. Do you know how many times I have to go in the store to buy a clock only for the cashier to give me dirty looks? " John placed his hands against his chest as he gave an annoyed but tired look. Adam shrugged tagging a swig from the water, " find another store, " the older guardian rolled his eyes, " its not that easy to find a durable clock thats Adam proof, you need to start realizing how powerful you are getting, you need to be more careful Adam, " John frowned as The younger male walked around and into the foyer before he opened the door. " yeah yeah I know, keep a low profile, I'm leaving! " He yelled tossing his hand up. " Tell Allyson I said 'Hello' " With that he was gone, leaving the thirty-five year old to stare at the empty space before picking himself up and walking over to the counter, examining the smaller peices since the last encounter. " every second is like a ticking time bomb...."

Cutting across the small little woods that consealed their home, he finally imerged onto a neighborhood street, then continued down until he was walking towards the main part of town, it was a well enough town, but not too small or deserted, it still got a bit busy but was beautiful in the winter, or when it rained. It was enough not to be on a lot of maps too, coming at the corner of the street, the male quickly crossed over and walked into the little coffee shop, getting a seat at the far end against window so he could see over everyone, something he had to do to take cation, or more like in instict again. The brunette yawned, leaning back and closed his eyes, waiting for ally to show up, a good heavens, his a** was the first to show up.

I heard that you*re settled down

Old friend, why are you so shy ?

A loud beeping sound was echoing through the room. It was quite loud, and it was sure to be heard in the next room. Luckily, the next room was the bathroom, because it was at the end of the hall. After a few more seconds of the beeping, the purple covers on the bed started to shift slightly. Soon a hand slowly reached from under the covers, and it made its way to the nightstand. It clicked the button on top of the alarm clock, and soon the loud beeping finally stopped. A small moan came from under the covers, and it shifted slightly again. All that was left was any noises that was coming from the outside. Mostly people talking, or some kind of animal making a noise. It didn't bother the girl as much as the beeping had. Probably because that noise was in the room, and it was super loud. Gosh, why did she have to get such a loud alarm clock? She regretted the first day she got it, but her mother wouldn't get her a new one until the old one broke. She tried breaking it, but it was sturdy little thing. Sucks for her. Soon it wouldn't be able to handle her anymore, and it would finally break. She longed for that day.

The girl was woken a little more at the small tap on her door. "Sissy you have to get up!" A small and weak voice called out through the door. It was her little sister, Abby. The girl was somehow always up before her, and she was always waking her older sister. Ally always thought the younger kids got up later then everyone. Maybe her little sister was just unusual. What right did she have to think such things? Anyone that looked at her thought she was weird. It was her hair color, and that was about it. She had blonde hair, but she had dyed it to make it pure white. After people got over the small shocked they found her stunning. She was no ugly girl, and she just thought white would suit her better. Which it did. At least that is what she thought, and no one had told her different. Well, her mom still wasn't big on it, because she loved her daughter's natural blonde hair. Oh well.

"I'm up Abby. Go on into the kitchen." A voice stated from under the covers, and it shifted a final time. Soon a white head popped up from under the covers, and she gave a small yawn. She stretched her arms over her head, and she soon slipped out from under the covers. Her bare feet stepped on her fluffy carpet, and she stood up. She was about five foot four inches. Kinda short, but she liked that. The girl always wanted a guy taller then her, and most guys were around six feet, well mostly all of them were. There were few she knew that was under such height, but even then they were taller then her. Anyway, her body was slim, but not enough for people to think she didn't eat. She did, but exercised a lot. Even though she was a little clumsy, sometimes tripping over nothing.

Ally started to walk, and without a further ado she tripped. She fell on her carpet, and luckily it was fluffy carpet. She gave a small groan, because it still hurt a little bit. "Curse you clumsiness." She muttered in the carpet, and she soon lifted her head slightly. This whole time she finally remembered she had plans! She jumped up from the floor, and she grabbed her phone off her nightstand. She was late! She hurried into the bathroom, and she took a quick shower. When she got out she wrapped a towel around her body, and she dried her hair with a hair dryer. After she was done, she plugged in her straightener. However, she wasn't going to straighten her hair. She just did a few flips in her hair, and once done she unplugged the straightener.

The blonde made her way into her room, and she walked to her dresser. She pulled out a bra, and slipped it on. Along with some underwear. Next, she went over to her closet. She then she pulled out a white and light brown, stripped, over-sized sweater. She slipped it on over her bra, and she then pulled out black leggings. Since her top kinda looked like a short dress, and she slipped them under. She then pulled out a tan blazer, and she slipped it on. Lastly, she put on some black boots, that went to her shin. Checking herself in the mirror, she left her bedroom.

Making her way to the kitchen, she saw her sister there waiting for their mother to finish with breakfast. "I am going out, so I will see you later." She told them, and her mom turned to her. "Alright, be careful dear." Her mom stated, and Ally gave a small nod. She grabbed her bag, and she slipped her phone in there, since she had no pockets. The girl then proceeded to leave the house, and she walked on the sidewalk, her boots clicking slightly.

The girl soon came to the main part of town, and she headed for the small coffee shop. That is where she would be meeting Adam that morning. She entered the small shop, and she was shocked to see Adam in their usual spot before her. A smile appeared on her face, and she walked over to the table. She slipped in the across from him, and a smile was still on her face. "Wow, I must be running really late to have you here before me." The girl spoke with a small giggle, and she placed her bag by her feet. Then she returned her attention back to Adam.

By now, he finally realized why he always liked to wait, having nothing to do but peak down at his phone, watching the minute slowly turn into another number. The male hated waiting, and would in the future never do it again, so tough luck Ally, he was now going to be late for the remainder of his life. All thanks to a little waiting, but Adam knew he wouldn't go through with it, the male had a soft spot for the blond, whether she knew it or not. She was his only friend pretty much, and the only one he needed, wether for questions on homework or the first time he got a tattoo. She happened to be his sanity.

adam yawned, running a hand through his hair once again, opening his hazel eyes to watch the door wing open and a small little old woman walk in, and towards the counter, humming softly as she glanced up with her dark eyes at the menu. Contemplating what she might want with its vast varieties, she walked up shortly, telling the girl behind the counter just before a curt nod. His eyes then went to the older male reading the news paper, sipping at his coffee, and it so reminded him of John at their little dinner table, the gray hairs and old age starting to get to him. It was that momnet he teen was greatful that he didn't have to stare down in another white room with just his bed and the camera in the corner, blinking and watching his every move, or even the visits of the guys in scrubs and white coats, coming in with viles and wires, the memory almost made him rather sick with anger as he closed his fist on the table, shortly after the lights began to flicker, awestrucking the people in the coffee shop.

This usually happened every now and then, his anger got the best of him, loosing control a little to his powers as John would say "evolving". It happened on occassions, once before moving here to this town they had stayed at another place, back then he didn't really know how to put himself in the crowds, and being the new kid he was bullied. His anger spike when they pushed him down and started laughing, only for him to retaliate with a thrust of his palm outwards and the kid went flying, if that wasn't enough he even cracked the pavement. Try explaining how a small teen could do that, so they left and found this place. A little off the map but still good none the less, starting school wasn't much of a biggie now thanks to Ally, the same late girl he was waiting for.

Adam slowly inhaled, calming down softly, then cleared his throat, trying to ease his fists into a relaxing posture, the flickering lights coming down to stop, relaxing everyone else into a frenzy about the circut braker acting up. The brunette only shrugged a little before running his hands through his lightly messy hair before he decided he would get something to drink and maybe something to eat as well. Leaving his backpack on the booth table, he casually walked over to the counter, seeing as no one was in line and took out his wallet. " Hi, what can I get you? " The perky girl grinned at the sight of him, pushing back a strand of her hair behind her ears, like most girls did as he took notice. " toffee mocha with two shots of expresso" Adam's hazel eyes looked in the window of the taste baked treats, debating. " and....three large chocolate chip cookies, " As you can see the tough looking eighteen year old with supernatural powers loved his sweets. The brunette then walked over to the waiting area with the older lady who seemed bothered by his presence since she was darting back and forth between him and the coffee ladies. As soon as they called out her name she took her coffee and darted out the door, not looking back. " Toffee with two shots! " The perky counter girl smiled and winked as Adam took his coffee and sat down, taking a couple of sips.

Moments later, the bell to the shop rang and he looked up from muching on his cookie in time to see the snow white blond come bouncing up. " yup, your really late, I should hold that against you for all eternity, " He raised his eyes as he mumbled through a mouth full of cookie then took a sip of his coffee. " what did you do? trip on everything you passed? " Adam smirked at his friend, knowing full well the blond's accident prone atmosphere, it was a miracle she hasn't fallen in a deep puddle and drowned. Not that he would want her to of course. Though he did love to tease the girl often. " so whats on the agenda for this lovely saturday? " he asked nonchalantly as he took another bite of a cookie and downed it with coffee.

ohohcee:: omg its sooo lame. but i figured in his next post i would start the whole invasion of the bad guy scientists shown; up at the house before they get to him.

I heard that you*re settled down
That you found a girl and you*re married now
I heard that yourxD R E A M Sxcame true
Guess she gave you things - - I didn*t give to you

Old friend, why are you so shy ?
Ain*t like you to hold back or hide from the light

When the male in front of her spoke, she rolled her eyes slightly. She knew it was coming. "Oh come on, you are late all the time, and I only held it against you the first few times. Then I realized that you wouldn't be on time." she told him. A small smile appearing on her face. Then he brought up her clumsiness, and she puffed her cheeks out slightly. Her eyes gave the male a small glare. "Okay, I am quite proud today. I only tripped over nothing once, so it is a new record for getting up. I was able to avoid objects so far, but I am not getting my hopes up." the girl told him with a smirk. She really wouldn't, because she knew she would trip or hit something soon. When he asked what they were doing she shrugged her shoulders slightly, and she stood up from the booth. "You should have thought of that while you waited." she told him, and she stuck her tongue out playfully. She then grabbed her bag, and she dug out her wallet. Then she held a finger up to him. "Be right back, I need a drink. Don't run away now." Turning around she started to walk, but she tripped slightly over the leg of a chair. Luckily she caught herself before she fell face first on the tile floor. That would have been embarrassing!

Before she walked, she glared back at Adam. She gave him the 'laugh and I will kill you' look, because she knew she would hear about it later. She was already hearing mutters from people in the coffee shop, but she didn't care about them. Sure, she might see them again, because hey, it was a small town. It was different with Adam though, because they were usually with each other everyday. He knows she trips over anything, and he usually teases her about it all the time. The girl lost count of how many times she has tripped around him, probably more then she does around her house. Quite sad. However, she knew she would hear it from him when she got back. No look would scare him to stay quiet, because what could she do? All she could do was probably take her boots off, and whack him with them. That probably wouldn't do as much damage she would ever want.

Getting over her little trip, Ally got in the small line at the counter. There was a guy about her age in front of her, and he was taking glances at her. Of course Ally didn't show any interest, because she knew the look the male was giving her. The 'oh yeah I could hit that' look, and it sickened her to no end. Some guys had no respect for people, so she just decided to ignore the male. Soon enough it was her turn to order, and there was a perky girl behind the counter. "Hi, what can I get you today?" the girl asked with a smile. Being polite, Ally gave a small smile back before she ordered, "Hi, I would like a vanilla latte please." she told the girl, and gave her a few dollars from her wallet. Taking the change, and she stepped to the side to wait. Great, the guy was over there too, but she wasn't going to worry about it. Again he did the looking, but Ally just continued to watch the workers make the drinks.

The girl yelled a drink, but Ally didn't catch it. She guessed it was the male's because he walked up to grab it. Taking one last look at her, he made his way out of the shop. The blonde rolled her eyes slightly, and she continued to wait for her drink. "Vanilla latte!" the girl hollered. Ally walked over, and she took the drink gently. She didn't want to burn herself, because that would hurt so bad. She may be a klutz, but she wasn't going to burn herself. Oh gosh, burning reminded herself of fire, and that made her shiver. Fire scared her to no end, probably because of that time were their stove caught on fire, and she was the only one home. That just heightened her fear, so she hated anything that reminded her of fire. Thinking of it scared her, so she just pushed the thoughts from her mind.

Making her way back to the booth, carefully of course, she slipped in across from Adam again. She took a small sip of her drink, and she stared at Adam. "So, did you think of what we should do, or did you just wanna wing it?" she asked. It wouldn't be the first time where they just walked around till they found something to do. That was actually usually the plan they used, because they didn't really know what to do. Actually, there wasn't much to do in the town. There was the movie theater, the park, and a few restaurants. That wasn't all there was, but there wasn't much else. That was the only down side to a small town, but she still loved it. She doubted she would be able to fit in a big city. Snapping out of the small thought, and she put her attention back to Adam again.
