Trist grabbed the clothes, and moved with the girl towards the bathroom. She did not that the girl still looked pale, and that she seemed a bit off. She would probably want to help her clean a bit, and she gently set the clothes on the counter. Clothing counter, Trist had argued with Gabriel about that since day one but she had decided it had its uses. She replaced the other bottles, before she looked at the girl.
"Care to have help? You seem a bit pale, and we don't need you to collapse and drown in a bath tub... Gabriel would never forgive me for that, I am certain..." Trist said as she watched the girl in the bathroom. It was decent sized, probably large enough for a bedroom if one accounted for it. Then again, the hot tub in the corner was taking up a large amount of room in the bathroom. She always enjoyed taking a dip in that thing once in a while, in a bikini of course.
"I...I guess since your a girl it's okay." She said as she began to undress, her back towards Trist. As he shirt came over her head the large burn scar on her back would be shown off, it looked like it was healing itself though which was weird because burn scars didn't heal, and even as a vampire your body didn't replace cells from before you were turned. Either she was a vampire already when the scar occurred, or something else weird was going on with her.
Trist seemed to look at the girls back for a moment, before wondering what it was. She wanted to touch, but knew better than to do that as she gently then looked at the girl. She wanted desperately to ask, to know what was going on with this girl that some injury would come to her in this degree. "What happened to your... Back?" Trist said her hands planting on the girls shoulders, she wanted to know, and know now. She was not going to let Jupiter off the hook, and there was no avoiding the answer.
Trist racked her brain for any medical knowledge she might have, and nothing came to the front of her mind. This was unique to her, and she wondered why this was so. Scar burns were uncommon, on the back double so, especially for a female. She stared at the girls back, wondering why in the world she had said nothing about this.
"Oh, that, my parents and I were in a fire when I moved here." She said with a light blush as she began taking the rest of her clothes off, slipping into the water. "Don't tell Gab about it okay? He doesn't need to know that's why I transferred here." Even when Gab was in school with her a lot of people had stayed away because she didn't have parents and they thought that was weird. Also because an arsonist had burned her house down and they never found the culprit, but other rumors of course flew around. Jupiter didn't want anyone to be able to find truth in them.
"I don't think I can keep that secret.... I will try but... I mean, you should see someone for that..." Trist managed to stammer out, before finally shaking her head. She took a body wash with aloe vera in it and walked over to the girl. She knew it was also peppermint, and would probably feel great for a while for the girl. She gently looked at the girl, before hearing a racket outside.
Gabriel shot awake, rolling backwards and to his feet. He threw his door open, before looking at the prince of the city. Eyes full of hatred staring him down, he knew something was amiss before the prince ever opened his mouth. Gabriel was quick to pull out a knife attached to the inside of his pants, quickly brandishing it when three other vampires came into the room.
"You have not consulted your elders before siring, therefore you and the fledgeling die tonight..." The prince said before Gabriel smiled, instantly the rest of them were set on edge. They could see his face, no mask or anything just a wicked edged smile. Gabriel was quick to take advantage, slicing the three companions to nothing before staring at the prince with that wicked smile.
"I am sure you forgot something here... Remember the first time I tried to sire? Infertile Vitae, I cannot sire... Unless someone told you I figured out a way... I guess the message has relayed to other cities by now... I guess I have no use for you if you don't call it back...." Gabriel said tossing the knife, letting it dig into the chest of the prince. He gripped the handle in an instant, backing the male against the wall. He could smell the fear, mostly because he was now one with his animal side. He looked directly to the man, before knowing what was going to happen. He retracted the knife, before pushing the man out and then locking his door. Trist and the girl would have a long night of preparation, either for fight or flight.
"It's okay, I haven't been able to feel anything on my back since the incident, the doctors said it was healing fine, but it would stay as a scar for the rest of my life." She said before turning her head, hearing the commotion outside. Why couldn't they just leave her alone? She closed her eyes, shaking slightly, even in the warm water. Why couldn't they leave her alone? She closed her eyes, trying to breath normally as she waited for this to all be over. She bit her lip, shaking. "I'm just a human, why do they want to kill me?" She didn't even smell like vampire. She still had a human smell to her, well half human, the other half was earthy and currently minty.
Gabriel merely sighed before falling on his rump, he could not believe everything that was happening. He did not want to have to move the girls, either one of them. He hated having to move himself, and thus why he had not done it. He knew how to avoid being detected, but he did not know how to move town to town without being detected period. He merely shook in anger, not knowing what to do at this point.
Trist merely figured it had been a minor confrontation, and merely continued to help the girl. She did not particularly care for this, but she was a bit more pleased than what her actual job was. She looked at the girl, before noting the scarring tissue and merely sighed. She then looked at the girl, wondering how in the world she was the way she was. "It is fine, nothing to worry about... I am sure that everything will be okay..."
Jupiter began to calm herself, running a hand through her hair. "I really don't like violence, I guess it's hard to avoid it sometimes but it seems like that's all that happens in this house." She whispered, whipping off her face. "I can wash myself, I'm... I'm not that sick." She whispered, her body still trembling slightly.
