The Lost Ones 1-on-1 ((FULL))

"What can I say? You'll always want the one you can't have," he told her with a smirk. "When you wouldn't give me what I w anted, I ended up spending more time with you so that I could try to score. In that time I became attached to you."

Elyssa's breath caught in her throat as she heard this. Her hands traveled over her chest as she shook her head. "Silly rabbit," she whispered, he frowned, not getting the reference. "I didn't betray you. What I did, I did for us. If the gods had granted your freedom, you would be mortal. You would die, while I continued to live. I couldn't bare that."

"You could have been mortal as well, Elyssa," Neron told her. "We could have lived happily and died happily."

"But this way we don't have to die."

Neron shook his head slowly. "Sometimes, I beg for death," he hissed. "Just to end this cycle. I do not wish to be immortal; and you didn't even bother to ask my opinion, before you did what you did."

Elyssa closed her eyes and sighed. "Back then you would have never questioned my judgment. You followed my orders, knowing that I knew what was best for you. Why do you do it now?" Her eyes opened as she felt his hesitation. "It's because of her, isn't it?"

"Attached to me?" Mia asked. "I wouldn't exactly call being friends an attachment."

"Yes, well, when you've been immortal long enough you realize it's hard to make friends. You only get to keep them for so long before you have to disappear from their lives. Hence, the reason I called it an attachment."

Neron didn't bother to hide it. "Yes," he told her. "Mia would have no problem living a mortal life with me."

"Oh really? She would have no problem supporting you, taking care of you, and watching over you? If you became mortal, what would you do? You don't know anything about this world. You don't even know how to read. I have all the money we would ever need to last a thousand lifetimes. I can make our immortality, be like heaven."

"I do not wish to live forever," he told her again. Getting off of her, he shook his head. "I have told you this before. I told you back then at the final round of the tournament when I fought Thor. After I killed him and we were taken to the gods, I told you, I begged you, that if you loved me you would wish for my freedom. I knew the gods would not grant it to me unless you asked for it. While you were taken away to make your wish, I waited for the chains to fall, but they never did."

He shook his head as he ran his hands over his wrists, remember the feeling of betrayal. He pulled at the bandages until he revealed the metal bands beneath. "When they came to tell me that you were gone, that you had made your wish and left, I didn't believe them. I lashed out, cursed them for not granting my freedom earlier. They said I was never human, just some clay puppet they had created to kill. I killed one in my rage, and for that I was punished. All that was because you wished for your immortality rather than wishing for my freedom...." He paused to breath.

"How can you say you love me when you did that?"

Mia smiled wider at him. "Well, now we are both immortal and we can be friends forever."

Keith groaned and rolled his eyes. "Can we at least be friends with benefits?"

Elyssa shook her head. "I know what's best for you, Neron. You told me that yourself."

"As you said, Elyssa, four hundred years is a long time. I loved you, and you betrayed me."

Elyssa sat up, glaring at him as he reached for his clothes. "Loved? You loved me? Now you love that tramp, huh?"

"Yes," he told her, bluntly.

"How long till she betrays you? How long till you betray her?" Elyssa stood and walked over to him. "I have waited four centuries to be with you, doesn't that count for anything." Her hands trailed over his body, stopping as she cradled a certain part of him, making him moan.

"You wouldn't have had to have waited any time if you had wished me to be mortal..."

Elyssa's hands squeezed tighter, causing him to groan in pain as her nails sank into his delicate flesh. "Get to your knees," she ordered as she gripped tighter. He winced as he did what she said.

Mia shrugged. "I guess it all really depends..." she said. She had pushed her bond with Neron down so far at this point that she couldn't feel any of his pain. At the moment, all she could feel was her and Keith.

Keith smiled at that. Leaning forward, his lips grazed her flesh. "Well, I can live with that for now." His tongue flicked over her, feeling goosebumps rise on her flesh.

"You can die now, Neron," Elyssa told him. "Either you belong to me, or you don't belong to anyone at all."

Neron winced. One hand kept a firm grim on a vital part of him while the other held a knife to his throat. A part of him wanted to laugh at the irony, seeing as how the knife she was holding was the one he had given her four centuries ago.

"I don't remember you being this crazy," he told her. Where was Mia and the others? He was trying to push himself toward her as much as possible to alert her to the crazy woman who was trying to sleep with him.

Elyssa's grip tightened, and he felt her nails break the skin. He whimpered against the blade. "It's because of your bond," she said at the sudden realization. "If I can reestablish our bond, you won't have any need for her."

Mia suddenly shot up from the bed. It was like Neron was suddenly screaming at her. "Sophitia!" Mia screamed.

Sophitia rushed in quickly. She looked at Mia and Keith. "Neron! Find him! He's in trouble!"

Sophitia looked at Keith for approval as Mia grabbed his phone and dashed for the car.

Keith sat there after she ran off. "Son of a-" He began throwing a tantrum on the bed. Every time he got close- "Damn it Neron!" He mumbled curses as he threw on pants and a shirt and grabbed his gun.

"Zeus, would do the honors," Elyssa purred into Neron's neck.

Zeus held the hot brand on his hand and smirked as he knelt before Neron.

"This isn't going to work," Neron told her. "Even if you do brand our symbol back on, it doesn't mean it will reestablish our bond."

"How do you know that? You've never had a master come back like this before. After all, I was made for you." Elyssa nodded, and Zeus thrust the hot iron onto Neron's flesh. The demi-god thrashed about as the iron burnt through his flesh. Elyssa moaned, into his neck, smiling as Zeus pulled back. She didn't feel anything yet...but in time. She had to. She wouldn't lose him to that tramp.

Neron panted, but didn't give them the satisfaction of doing anything else. "Is that all you've got?" he whispered.

"Shut up," Elyssa hissed.

Neron's eyes widened as his lips closed automatically, his body following her orders.

"Turn right!" Mia yelled. Sophitia took a sharp curve.

"How...do you know where you are going?" Sophitia asked.

"I can't explain it. I just...know," she said. "Here!" She pointed to an apartment building and Sophitia hit the breaks.

They all got out and Mia ran up the stairs. Sophitia and Keith were on her heels. She stopped at one of floors and looked down the hall. Getting out her gun she rushed to a door and kicked it down. Sophitia moved next to her as Mia pointed a gun at Elyssa. Neron's naked form sat on his knees next to her.

"Let him go," Mia said.

Elyssa smiled as she looked up at them. She couldn't feel him, but she could control him. "Neron, stand and protect me, no talking or eye contact with them," she ordered.

Neron closed his eyes as his body did what she said. He moved between her and Mia, his chest throbbing with the symbol which was burned into it.

Keith's eyes looked at the symbol on Neron's chest and then to the symbol on Elyssa's naked chest. He shuddered. Now was not the time for dirty thoughts. "You used the seal of Orichalcos. You b***h," Keith said, shaking his head. "You tried to reestablish your bond."

Elyssa stood behind him and smiled, her hands trailing over his body, grabbing at his sensitive spots just to tease Mia. "Yes, and now he is all mine," she said.

Mia slowly lowered her gun. "Neron..." she whispered. "Is my bond lost to him?" she asked Keith.

"You felt him to get us here didn't you?"

Mia nodded. "We are still connected. His heart is still my heart. And that bond is much stronger than a command," she said to Elyssa. "Neron...you don't have to listen to her. Think of all the freedom I gave you." She placed her hand over her heart. "Think of all the things we feel. All the love and devotion. Think of our first kiss and the first time I said I loved you. You can beat this because you are part of me and you know I never give up so easily."

Neron shuddered, trying to fight against her commands. "Neron, kill them," she whispered.

Neron's eyes shot open as the blades popped from his flesh in a river of blood. He started toward them, making three steps before stopping. Every fiber of his being told him not to, and yet her words echoed in his head, drowning out everything else. With two quick motions Keith's and Mia's guns lay in pieces on the floor. He raised his hand to strike Mia down, but his arm froze.

"Do it!" Elyssa yelled. "Kill her! Kill her!"

Neron's arm shook. He looked at Mia, a feral growl escaping his lips as he turned, his blade slicing through the air. He stopped, his eyes hazy and his breathing heavy as he stared at Elyssa. Her eyes were wide with shock as she stared at him.

"Why...?" A thin line appeared on her neck, followed by a gush of blood. She grabbed at it, but there was nothing she could do to stop the bleeding. "My...love," she stared up at him, her eyes hazing over as her life ebbed away.
