Neron caressed her face and kissed her. He didn't see what the big deal was about this. If he did this, he might could save them both. He clearly didn't have any feelings for Loki, not like she did Keith. He would be doing it for them, not for himself.

"Yeah, but I could have you for eternity!" Keith snapped as he looked at Sophitia.

"Well, there's that, or they could be made mortal humans." Loki continued to smile. "Decisions, decisions, decision. Oh well! If you decide to change your mind and your fate before you're completely erased from existence, history, and the minds of everyone please let me know."

"Loki, don't act so callous about this. You're losing your life too," Sophitia said. She stood. "I'm going to make the best of my day." She smirked at Keith. "Want to ******** one last time?"

Mia's hands gripped Neron's shirt as she looked at him. "I can live with twenty four hours knowing that you were mine from start to finish, but I can't honestly say that I can spend an eternity with you knowing that you slept with him." She pressed her forehead to his. "It would break my heart. I...can live with twenty four hours..."

"True, but I'm not the only one. All the masters will perish as well."

Neron looked up and looked at Mia.

"Oh, she won't," he assured him. "Only the masters who have been active for the last thirty years. The gods want to wipe all memory of us from the earth. So we'll die. Our masters will die. Anyone who has met will forget about us. It will be a real tragedy."

"Okay," he told her, pressing his lips to her's. If that was what she wanted he would comply.

Keith looked at Sophitia. He hadn't even realized that he'd gripped her hand during that. He was going to die because of this?

"Well, it's been fun kiddies. If Zeus comes knocking on your door, don't let him in. Elyssa won't be as kind as I am when bargaining for Neron's body."

Sophitia's hand gripped on Keith's. She had made it her job not to get attached to her master's and yet at the thought of Keith losing his life...

Mia looked over at Keith. Standing she walked over to him and hugged his stiff body. "Okay...you win..." she said as she cried hard. Letting Keith go she turned to Loki. "I can deal with Neron and me and the others dying...but not Keith..." She turned her back to them all. "Just...take him. I don't care anymore."

She walked to her room and slammed it then locked it. Sliding to the floor, she start balling. It wasn't fair. Why did so much depend on her? Why was it that she had to give so much and all she got in return was a broken heart and a bruised soul?

Loki licked his lips as Neron looked at him. His face was emotionless as he walked over. "Wait," he ordered as he walked to Mia's room. "Mia, please....open up."

Keith shook his head as he glared at Loki. "You better as hell not be lying about all of this," he hissed.

Loki smiled. "Wouldn't you like to know."

"Go, Neron...just leave. That's an order," she said through her tears.

Neron's hands beat against the door. "I'll be back," he told her. "Then no one will have to die...."

"Don't hold your breath...the world is full of liars..." Mia whispered.

"If he is lying. He will die," Neron promised her as his body moved to her command, stopping in front of Loki.

Without hesitating, Loki scooped Neron into his arms bridal style as he chuckled. "We'll have fun and be back before dinner," he promised. Winking at Keith as he carried Neron outside and took the air.

Keith looked back at Sophitia and squeezed her hand. "This sucks...."

For the first time, Sophitia wrapped her arms willingly around Keith. "I will stay if they let me."

Keith was surprised by this. "You would...? I mean, you'd stay here?"

He smirked as he caressed her face. "I'm glad...." He wanted to kiss her for some reason, but instead he chuckled. "There will be a limit to how many girls you can bring home a night."
