Kyle Lockend

Kyle flinched when the door opened and a man - Renny, he assumed - looked at the two of them. As he addressed Chez, Kyle tried to comprehend why he was being taken to get new clothes so soon after being dressed by those girls less than an hour ago. Was it because Chez felt bad for him? Or maybe those girls had been given too much freedom with their decisions, or even... Was Chez purposely defying the king's wishes for some reason?
He held his arms around his chest as Renny looked him over. He was starting to worry again, what if King Vincent got pissed because he wasn't wearing the right clothes? But if he refused, Chez would probably be pissed at him too because he was being an idiot. And he couldn't stand the outfit for much longer, it was driving him crazy... but what if that had been the intent and he was going to get punished for not wearing it? He shook his head, trying to get rid of these irritating thoughts, and tried to focus on something else. But what else could he possibly focus on? He was a prisoner, he'd already gone through a major invasion of his privacy this morning, he had nothing left of his old life because the people who'd caught him had taken the backpack that held everything he owned, his dad was dead...
"My name is Kyle," he forced out when Renny asked Chez who he was. "Kyle Lockend. And this outfit wasn't my choice." He kept his eyes on the ground, trying to distract himself from his surroundings, but it was hard. The last thing he wanted was to have a panic attack, but at this point it seemed almost inevitable. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down as he looked down at his clothes. It didn't work. He let out a whimper before he could stop himself, and weakly moaned, "I want to go home..." before his legs gave out on him and he fell to the floor, thinking, But I can't.
He gripped his stomach and leaned over his knees. He couldn't stop the waves of panic that were sweeping over him, and he forced out the words, "Panic attack," to make sure the two men knew what the hell was going on before it got worse and his hyperventilating got out of hand. He was shaking violently now, but there was nothing he could do about it except wait for it to pass.
                                                ((Kyle's a sensitive kid. U_U ))

"Despite the lies that your making
Your love is mine for the taking
My love is just waiting
To turn your tears to roses"

Vitani had listened carefully to Jake’s explanation. She nodded a bit, soaking in the information like a sponge. No say in politics? This special position is nothing of status? She was becoming confused. In this country, she had seen commoners, slaves, or rather whores as this man had described, these Favorites, nobles, and the king. It seemed the Favorites were very high and important slaves to the King. But how did they have the same rights as a normal citizen with such a high rank? If Jake could see her eyes, he would see thousands of questions flashing in her eyes. Her lips twitched as she heard the stories of the two Favorites she had become familiar with. Why would the King kill his own people? Just to take their child? Slowly, she was beginning to wonder if it was a wise decision to negotiate with King Vincent. Assanyan’s were violent, but they would never kill their own kind. Sure, they beat each other to a bloody pulp, but never intentionally killed another Assanyan. Other races… now, that can’t be excused as an accident. As he continued to speak, she tilted her head a bit. “Your people take on more than one partner?” she asked, a bit confused. Assanyans mated for life. One partner for all eternity. Her head tilted, her tiara slid a bit and she looked like a curious kitten, a deadly, curious kitten, but a kitten. She wanted to know why they took on more than one mate. “So, these Favorites are his harem?” she tried to sum up what she had heard. So far, all she had heard about this king was cruelty, sensuality, and obviously… a ruthless fighter. Might have to spar with him. All in all, she was perplexed by this country. By how different it was from her home.

Vitani soon felt the man’s hand over her heart and a smile graced her lips, her hand falling away from his chest. He seemed to do it quite quickly, like he was nervous. Has he not encountered Queen’s before? Or was it the negotiations? Though her questions quieted as she saw him smile and agree to let her train his men. It had been too long since she trained. She grinned, “I can’t wait to get started,” her smile was genuine excitement and joy with the thrill of teaching. It was always so cute when you first train cadets. They’re like little children, just waiting to be formed in to thriving adults. She was going to enjoy watching them stumble and move on from crawling to walking and finally running. “So, when are your men’ next training session?” she asked before raising her arms a bit so he could reach her waist. She was surprised he could lift her before smiling widely, “Strong one. Maybe when you’re well rested, we can spar?” she offered, hoping for a round or two with the guard. Though the guard seemed restrained, like he was afraid to do things around her. Once again, we may be violent and short tempered, but I’m not going to kill ya’ll over something insignificant. She sighed and felt herself placed back on the ground, his hands leaving her and she brushed herself off, laughing a bit. “Weighted clothes. So, you’re little theory is almost right. Its attire I developed specifically for training, whether it is daily or just for sessions. Lead is poisonous though, so I would not recommend using that,” she chuckled. She couldn’t help smirking at his comment. “Well, that could be true,” she agreed. The King could’ve decided to back down for many reasons. For the technology, alliance with a strong nation to help against enemies or to save his own hide.

Vitani eyes narrowed on Damien, hating the fact that his temper was shorter than hers. Though she couldn’t blame him. The only reason she wasn’t standing up for him was because it was his fight and that Jake wasn’t making a violent move. She stood firmly, arms crossed across her flat chest and her head tilted as she watched the two. She could tell Damien was annoyed with Jake.

Baring his teeth, Damien glared at the male. “Well, she should be stronger and not let those memories control her. Those men are no longer here. She shouldn’t let them affect her for the rest of her life. If she does, they have won the war and that’ll just fulfill what they’ve been trying to do,” he argued as calmly as he could. His voice cracked a bit, wanting to raise his voice. His sharp blue eyes moved to the female as she stepped forward. He was surprised when she began to speak. Her face was blank and he smirked. Suddenly grinning, “That’s better,” he praised. He hadn’t expected one female in this country to step up to him. He knew better than to challenge her though. He’d rather not shed blood while they were still negotiating.

Two heads whipped to stare at the door as it opened. A female and male exited. The female had golden hair and ruby eyes, resembling Rei in some ways. The male had silver hair and silver eyes. He was holding on to the new female, as if she was a animal trying to escape. Vitani blinked beneath her bangs and stared at the two. “Am I interrupting something?” the man asked his voice deep and cool as he looked over them. “No. But who are you?” she asked, arching a brow and looking him over. He wore no shoes, no shirt and was only in a pair of spandex shorts. Something normally worn during training. “Damien, Damien Julius Pride, Queen Vitani,” he introduced, politely, not caring what he was wearing. Seems these people have very good manners. She was glad, meant it would be easier.

"Well... not everyone takes on multiple partners. My parents, for instance, have never once considered seeing other people, and from what Tyki's said, his parents are the same. Here in the castle, however, the usual rules don't apply. It's... it's hard to explain, especially since I've been awake for so long, so don't take everything I say for granted," Jake said, rubbing his head tiredly.
"Next training session's... whenever you want it to be, I guess, it's pretty open. Maybe we can spar then," he said, then listened with interest to her explanation of her clothing. "Ah... I've heard of adding weights to clothing, just not in the way you've done it," he said as he stretched out his arms.

His temper took a very sudden plunge at Damien's next comment, and he was about to say some very nasty things to him when Rei spoke up for herself. He smirked and said, "I take back what I said about you, Rei. You're doing better than I thought you would be."
The minute Damien the Favorite came out of the room, Jake said to him, "Hey, we were just looking for you. I've got some news for you, but it can wait until later."

Chez grinned at Kyle’s sarcastic comment. “Why Thank you, honey.” He said with a squeaky voice. “I try.” He waited for the door to open, his eyes went to Kyle as he asked another question. “If you do…I’ll kindly take the blame for it.” Chez smiled at mischievously as he knocked on the door again impatiently wondering what Renny was doing. Chez knew the King hadn’t chosen Kyle’s attire that was his servants messing around. Chez attention was brought to the door as it opened and revealed Renny in black and white. “Renny.” He smiled greeting the gay. “Hm. Well…I was bored and I got a new to- scratch that. Mister here is going to meet the King soon, and well He doesn’t feel comfortable in those clothes so…he needs some new cute clothes.” He looked at Renny, his blue eyes caught his green ones. He stepped up to the man and leaned down over his shoulder whispering into his ear. “Don’t tell him my status…yet.” He said softly before stepping away. Chez laughed at Renny, he knew that he was trying to hold himself from giggling. His eyes went to Kyle as the boy crouched down, holding himself. “What’s wrong?” Chez asked. He got his answer soon afterwards. He squatted down next to Kyle, and put a hand over his should. Within seconds he had Kyle in his arms, carrying his like a princess into Renny’s shop. “If it’s a panic attack, then he should be fine in a bit.” He said setting the boy down on one of the couches. He walked back towards the door, tilting his head backwards. “He should be fine with you. You could say that you are the nicest one out of all of us…I’ll be back in an hour.” Winking at Renny, Chez left the two in the shop and headed back towards the favorite’s floor.

After hearing what Damien said Rei scowled to herself. It was like he was tempting her to do something. And seeing that she stepped to him she had fulfilled his wishes. Rei made a mental note to ask Jake to train her later on, she felt that if she could get a little stronger she might have the guts to ask the man to a challenge. Right now, she was somewhat afraid. If the woman, the Queen wore weighted clothes for training, then she was frightened to ask what he did for his daily training. Pouting, Rei dragged herself so she stood next to Jake, not behind him. Her eyes glared at Damien for a second before moving away to the floor. Everyone was interrupted as the door opened and Damien, the King’s favorite and another woman with blonde hair stood there in the entrance. Rei felt a tinge of jealousy as she saw Damien was holding the woman, she hadn’t managed to get her name. “Uh…not really…” Rei mumbled not sure if Damien heard her not. But her mind wondering about how long had her been there…behind the door. Rei was sure that her tiny outburst was loud enough to be heard through the room. Shaking the thoughts away as she heard Damien introduce himself graciously. It was then she noticed what he was wearing. Nothing but a shorts. Rei felt blush creeping on face. No! Not here! Rei hung her head and pinched her cheeks. Wait…Damien’s like half-naked in Tyki’s room…with a girl? She didn’t bother to look up, instead she stared at the floor. She knew Damien could tell what she was thinking if she lifted her head up. Damien made her heart ache, Rei cringed at the feeling. He was one of the only person that she truly loved. “Jake, can we go?” Rei asked with her best forced smile. Shoot, I’m losing it. The only time Rei couldn’t control her emotions was when ever Damien was by…It’s not fair! We’ve only known each other for like a day…

Listening closely she could make out only one voice that seemed familiar, other than that there were two girls and one other guy. Before Eliza could let go of the knob and walk back, she felt someone behind. Before she could turn and see who it was, he leaned in over her. Eliza tried to move further away from him but couldn’t, she felt his bare chest touch her shoulders. Before she could do anything he abruptly opened the door and made both of them visible. “What are you doing!?” Eliza hissed. She felt his hand grip the side of her clothes, which made her even more annoyed. “It’s not like I’m going anywhere…” Eliza gritted through she teeth. Even if she could out of the room where would she go? The castle from the looks of was heavily guarded as well. If there were other men like Niko and Tyki then didn’t stand a chance of escaping. It was the truth and Eliza didn’t like it. Snapping out of her thoughts she looked over the people that were standing outside of the door. Two females, both blonds. And two males, one the Commander of the Guard….Jake and the other she didn’t know. He had long white hair and was tall. From what she heard earlier, the woman with the pale blond hair was the Queen. She was deciding whether to bow to her or not. Sighing she decided that she would. “Eliza Fraust at your service.” Eliza said in her calmest, sweetest voice. She was about to kneel as a spy does but stopped herself and bowed instead, as she did the grip on her clothes went tighter. She tilted her head towards Damien, glowering at him menacingly. “Let go. Me and Niko made a deal….so I’m not going to run away. I can’t anyway.” Eliza whispered coldly. “And anyway you’re giving the wrong image to everyone. Go wear something.” Eliza added not stirred by his appearance. Her arms crossed themselves against her chest, as she glared at him defiantly.

Kyle scowled at Chez's comments, only feeling slight relief at the man's reassurances that he would take the blame, and he couldn't even bring himself to try and listen to what Chez was saying to Renny. He was too far into his panic attack to comprehend his surroundings anymore, and he withdrew into himself as Chez brought him in and set him down on a couch. He could hardly breathe, it was difficult to tell what was going on, and he found himself drifting back to the last memory he had of his normal life...

                                    ********

"Stairs, stairs, stairs~" Kyle chanted as he ran around the front hall of his estate, jumping onto the bottom step every time he came near it. The servants were doing their normal work, although there wasn't much to be done that day, so he had plenty of people to play with if he wanted to. He chose to play by himself, however, since he knew they liked having time to relax, and he didn't want anyone to play with him unless they wanted to. It was much more fun when they liked playing, he knew that from experience. And so, he continued his dance and grinned whenever one of the servants passed by him. They always grinned back at him, it made him feel happy that they were so nice.
There was a knock on the front door, and he paused in his game and sprinted over to the large, heavy oak doors and shouted, "Just a minute," as he stepped into place, wrapped his hands around the doorknob, turned it, and pulled.
The door didn't budge. He frowned and tried again, this time putting all his strength into it. The door still didn't move, and he growled as he tried to yank it open.
"Am I going to have to stand out here all day?" came an impatient voice from the other side, and Kyle let out an irritated squeak and shouted, "Just wait, the door's being stupid!" A servant came up and saw his struggle, and put his hands over Kyle's and helped him pull the massive door open before stepping back and letting Kyle welcome whoever was on the other side. Kyle stepped into the opening, panting heavily from the effort, and looked up at the tall man standing on the other side. "Wow... heavy... Can I help you?" he asked politely in between gasps for air.
"I need to speak with the master of the house. Is he in?" the man asked, looking down at Kyle with so many different emotions Kyle couldn't recognize any of them.
Kyle nodded, then turned and ran to the stairs, then shouted, "DADDY! Someone wants to talk to you!" before turning back to the man and saying, "He'll be down soon, he's in his sleeping clothes so he has to change and stuff."
The man nodded and asked, "Are you his son, then?"
Kyle nodded. "Yep, I'm Kyle. Who are you?"
"I would have thought my crown would have given me away," the man remarked with a smirk, and then Kyle noticed it. The guy had a crown on his head and he looked exactly like that picture in one of his books...
"Oh, you're King Vincent!" Kyle exclaimed. "Well, uh..." he trailed off, trying to remember the things his mom had taught him about being polite, then grinned and said, "Would you like to sit down?"
"Yes, I would, actually," Vincent replied, and Kyle nodded and led him to the sitting room, where he gestured to the really nice couch they had for visitors, then sat down on his favorite chair, which was soft and cushy and big enough for both him and his mom for when she'd read him stories at night. Vincent seemed to like the couch, which made Kyle happy. He wasn't doing a bad job considering he couldn't remember all his manners. Then Vincent looked at him, and Kyle blinked, wondering what he was supposed to do now.
"How old are you?" Vincent asked.
"Seven," Kyle replied without a second thought. He'd just had his birthday a couple weeks ago, and he already had his new age memorized.
"You look younger," Vincent commented. "Come here for a moment, will you?"
Kyle looked at him questioningly for a brief moment, then stood. He looked curiously at the men standing behind Vincent. He didn't pay much attention to guards and servants, since most people who came to visit usually had them. These ones looked scarier than usual, though. He looked back at Vincent as he finally stood right in front of him and was quiet as Vincent looked carefully at his face. "I'd like to take a closer look at you, would you mind?"
"Nuh-uh," Kyle said, remembering how his mom said it was a bad idea to say no to the king. He was still curious though, so he asked, "How come?"
"You look like you'd be fun to play with," Vincent explained with a smile. "I want to be sure I'm right about that."
Kyle grinned widely at the compliment. King Vincent himself thought he would be fun to play with! That had to be the greatest thing ever! He stuck his chin out and straightened, trying to look his best as Vincent inspected him. He didn't get why Vincent kept looking at his lower body, or why he kept touching him so much, but he figured the king had his own special ways of telling how good someone was at playing, so he didn't comment. After a minute, though, Vincent was done and said, "I think you're going to grow up very nicely. You'll have to come see me in my castle sometime."
"Okay," Kyle replied with a grin. He went back and sat down in his chair again just as his mom and dad came into the room, and he stood up as his dad said, "Your Majesty... what a pleasant surprise."
"Yes, I thought due to recent events it would be prudent to pay you a visit," Vincent replied, gesturing for Kyle's parents to sit down. Kyle was a little surprised when his dad sat down on his chair, pulling Kyle onto his lap as he did so. His mom sat down on the couch next to them and looked down at the table. She looked afraid and angry.
"Kyle, go play upstairs," his dad said, but right when Kyle got up to leave, Vincent shook his head. "No, I would rather have him stay here. He's a big boy, he deserves to hear what the grown-ups are talking about."
Kyle smiled. He liked Vincent, he was letting him stay and listen to them, and he even thought Kyle was good at playing. He couldn't understand why his parents didn't seem so happy about him being here, though.
"What is it you want to talk about?" his dad asked, hugging Kyle tight. Kyle frowned and pushed a little against his dad's arms. He wanted to be able to move still.
"There seems to have been a grave misunderstanding," Vincent said. "You have yet to give me what you owe me, as I'm sure you're aware."
"Yes... there was an accident when we were transporting them..." his dad said. "I'm very sorry, I will repay you immediately."
"Yes, you will," Vincent said, looking down at Kyle for some reason. "You will replace the slaves in question with persons of the same quality, and you will relinquish your title to someone more fit for the job."
"I... understand," his dad said, still holding Kyle tight. Kyle was starting to get worried. Was his dad in trouble for something?
"Excellent. Have all your servants and employees ready for inspection this evening, and have your son ready to come with me by that time as well."
"What? There's no way in hell you're taking him!" his mom yelled, standing and glaring at Vincent. Kyle blinked. Why was she so mad? Vincent just wanted to play with him... or was she jealous of him? She loved to play with him too, after all...
"Dear, be quiet!" his dad snapped. "I'm sorry, Your Majesty... it may be very late before my wife consents to this."
Vincent looked at them, a big frown on his face. "Of course. But you do realize that any attempt to get out of this will end in your death, correct?"
"Yes, I know when to admit defeat," his dad said tiredly, and Kyle looked from him to his mom to Vincent in confusion. His dad was still holding on tightly to him, and he said, "If you'll excuse me, then, I would like some time alone with my wife and son before the day is done."
Vincent looked him over again, then said, "Very well, then. I'll see you this evening, Kyle. We'll have plenty of fun in my castle," as he smiled down at Kyle.
Kyle smiled back and said, "Okay," before following his parents upstairs to their room.

                                    ********

"YOU ******** IDIOT! How could you promise Kyle?!" his mother screamed. Kyle winced and covered his ears.
"I didn't! I didn't think he'd come after us," his father replied, his voice calmer but still angry. "I'm sorry, I didn't think-"
"Of course you didn't think, you never think about how your schemes affect us!" his mom snapped. "And now look where it's got us, Kyle can't go with him, he's way too sensitive for that place! And you know what Vincent will do with him, he'll be broken and regarded as nothing more than a plaything that can be discarded at will!"
"He'll be fine," his dad said calmly. "He's too smart to be wasted like that."
"You a**! How can you just let this happen?" his mom practically screamed. "This is your fault, you've destroyed this family and now Kyle's the one who has to suffer the consequences!" She grabbed him and pulled him into her arms, her tears leaving a huge wet spot on his shirt. Kyle grabbed onto her in return. He was afraid and he knew his mom was really sad, and when she was sad he had to hug her to make it better...
"I'm sorry. It... it could be worse," his dad said. "I mean, he could be-"
"Shut up. Just shut up. You've done enough damage today," his mom said, running her fingers through Kyle's hair. "I'm not letting him go. I'd rather die than let that happen."
"If you don't let him go, you will die, and it will still happen," his dad said. "Don't make him lose you because your pride won't let you give him up."
"What's so bad about me going to live with him?" Kyle asked. "He said I'd be fun to play with, isn't that a good thing?"
"Kyle... adults play differently than kids do," his dad said. "The way we play can be scary to kids, which is why we're not supposed to share our games with you until you're big enough to enjoy them."
"So... it's not a game for kids that he wants to play?" Kyle asked, trying to comprehend what his dad was saying. "Then why does he want to play with me?"
"Because he's selfish and disgusting," his mom spat. "And I'm not going to let him play those games with you if I can help it."
Kyle frowned. "How are you gonna do that? Isn't he the boss of everyone?"
"He is... that's why we have to pretend you can't come with him and play his games," his mom said, then glared at his dad. "And you're going to help me. Got it?"
His dad looked at the two of them, then sighed. "I guess I'll listen to your idea, at least."
His mom looked down at Kyle and hugged him, then said, "I'm going to kill myself, and I'm going to take him with me."
His dad looked horrified. "You can't-"
"Not literally!" his mom snapped, rolling her eyes. "But that's the only way I can think of to get them to leave us alone, you know he won't give Kyle up now that he's gotten a good look at him!"
His dad sighed and said, "Fine. But you can't live here anymore, you know that, right?"
"Yes, I know," his mom said, then hugged Kyle tight and said, "Okay, sweetie, this might be a little painful, but I promise once tonight's over, everything will be okay."
Kyle looked up at her and nodded. He didn't understand what was going on anymore, and he was too afraid to disagree with his parents or ask for an explanation. He hid his head in her chest and cried until she gently pulled him away and told him what he had to do.

                                    ********

He started to recover from his panic attack after these memories rushed through his mind, but even though he was now aware of his surroundings once again, he still couldn't get his breathing back to normal, and he pulled his limbs in close to his chest, trying to at least make his uncontrollable shaking less obvious to whoever happened to be watching him.
((PS the idea is that Kyle would have been taken and treated like a slave or whatever until he was old enough, not that Vincent wanted to get it on with a seven-year-old right then and there. Just to be clear. XD; ))

"Despite the lies that your making
Your love is mine for the taking
My love is just waiting
To turn your tears to roses"

Damien’s silver eyes quickly moved to Jake and he nodded, “I hope it’s good news,” he commented and felt something tug at his hand. He heard Eliza hiss and rolled his eyes, releasing her. “I don’t have any clothes here and I don’t think drag is appropriate at the moment. Plus, I wouldn’t even think about doing anything with you,” he replied, moving his eyes back up to see the queen staring—he thought she was staring, he couldn’t tell with her hair in the way—at him and Eliza. She seemed to be contemplating something. He had a good guess what.

Lee had seen the frustration in Rei’s ruby eyes. She had not liked his reaction and he could only smirk. This girl was entertaining; maybe the other female was too? He glanced at Eliza before shrugging and connecting eyes with the Favorite. Someone who shared his name, was a whore to the king and his men? He scowled a bit. What a waste.

Silver clashed with sharp blues. The Damien’s stared at each other, each probing the other and trying to figure the other out. Damien Pride felt a little twinge in his chest as Rei asked to leave and he saw Lee turn, moving his gaze on to Rei. The man’s gaze had narrowed though it only continued as he saw the guilty look on his dapple ganger. Why is he guilty? He hasn’t done anything with…. He looked at Eliza and the man’s grip. He wasn’t holding her because he was possessive of her, no, he was preventing something. “She’s slowly forming a leash on you, isn’t she?” he asked, able to see through the man’s peaceful and kind demeanor. He glanced at Rei to show who he was speaking of. This man was meant to be something powerful, not reduced to these weak habits that have been forced in to him.

“Leash?” he repeated, releasing Eliza and hooking his thumbs in the waist band of his shorts. Glancing at Rei, he knew she was jealous. He knew what had gone through her mind. It hurt him to think she didn’t trust him. Pride had never thought too much on the restrictions of being in a relationship in general. But he had noticed the changes in his life. It was mainly after Denise, that he had changed. His eyes moved back to Lee only to find the Assanyan was only a few inches from him. His silver eyes widened and he took a step back, trying to make room between him and the other. Though Lee’s arm suddenly slipped around his waist, pulling the silver haired young adult back in to him. There was no space between them. Pride could feel his face warming and he swallowed hard. Lifting his hands, he gripped the other’s shoulders and tried pushing him away, but the man was like stone, he wouldn’t move.

Lee just grinned as he felt the silver-eyed man’s attempt to push him away. He glanced at his sister who was biting her lip, obviously holding back from doing something irrational. He glanced at Rei. This attack on Damien was aimed at her. He wanted to see what she would do. Oh, he wanted that woman to hate him. If she could get stronger, she’d be fierce in battle. Turning his attention back to the man, now pinned against the wall. He leaned in to his ear, “I will release you,” he whispered, making Pride wonder what the man was up to. He felt a hand slide up his thigh and immediately he prayed someone would stop him.

“DAMIEN!!!” the voice boomed from the young queen and she huffed, teeth clenched. Pride smiled, Oh thank god! Both Damiens turned their heads at the call of their name and the queen growled. “My Damien… step away from Pride, now,” she ordered sternly and tried to calm down. She saw her brother look at her, as if thinking over the order. She couldn’t believe he was actually going to defy her. “Damien Lee, step away from the Favorite. This is not going to help us during negotiations,” she warned, her hand twitching. “Fine, just more pleasure for later,” finally, Damien Lee stepped back from the other, releasing him. Though he had plans for the man, not sexually, that was just to cause a little trouble and ruffle some feathers. He had a mate and one that could kill him at that. Why would he even try to? Plus, he loved her. It couldn’t be helped. “What were you thinking?” Vitani hissed quietly to her brother, who just smirked.

“Jealous?" he teased and slipped his hands in to his pockets. Lee knew she was, but that wasn’t the reason she had called out. It was probably because she wanted in on the plan or just didn’t want to be left in the dark.

Vitani huffed and then shook her head. “No, but… what are you planning?” she whispered, raising a hand to tell the others she need a minute in private.

“I plan to release that boy’s true self. He’s got something deeper to him. This submissive, sweet personality does not fit him,” Lee explained and saw his sister nod a bit. He knew she wouldn’t argue with him. Now, he needed to find out the boy’s past so he could figure out what’s holding back his true self. It was like trying to repair someone with brain damage. He couldn’t help grinning at that thought. The brain damage was whatever what happened to the boy while he had stayed here.

“Was that display really necessary?” she questioned, glaring a bit.

“So, you were jealous!” he teased and earned himself a harsh hit to the side. He didn’t flinch, just chuckled and nodded. He knew he shouldn’t push his luck.

Vitani sighed, turning back to Jake and looking up at the man. “I will start their training now. Your king seems to be busy. He didn’t even greet me,” she explained before waving an arm, indicating for Jake to lead the way. “Would any else like to join?” she questioned and looked at the other three. She wondered if the women would, she already knew the male would most probably join. She was interested to see what the people of this country were made of. Plus, she wouldn’t even go hard on them for the training today. Though she was planning on using some weights. “Just so you know. The training will be light weight training, fifteen to thirty pound weights on each wrist and ankle. And our punching bag will be my brother here. At the end, you will pair off and spar. No blood is to be shed,” she informed, grinning a bit as Damien glared at her for a minute before rolling his eyes.

“Like any of you could harm me…”

Pride thought on the offer and nodded a bit. A good work out would benefit him. He could release some steam and stress that had been accumulating over the past few days. He stepped up to the two, nodding. He saw Vitani smile knowingly at him, like she knew he would join. “Well, anyone else? Also, Damien, could you fetch the weights?” she asked and saw him shuffle his jaw. He frowned deeply, making it obvious he didn’t want to do it. Up on seeing his hesitance, Vitani stood on her tip toes and pulled him gently down to her height, whispering in his ear. Slowly, that frown formed in to a grin and he dashed off to complete the task. She chuckled, “Gets him every time,” she smiled triumphantly before turning back to the others. “Well, anyone else?”

Jake

Jake was about to tell Rei she could go ahead and enter Tyki's room when Damien and Eliza came out. He nodded at Damien Pride and said, "Yeah, it's good news. It's concerning the guards who stepped out of line yesterday, they're finally getting what's been coming to them. I'll tell you the details later." He nodded politely to Eliza, unconsciously reaching up to rub the lump she'd left on his head the day before as he did so. He was about to say something to her when the two Damiens had their little moment, and he would have stepped in had Vitani waited a minute longer to do so herself. As she and Lee spoke to each other, Jake turned to Pride and asked, "You okay there?" under his breath before standing and returning his attention to the Queen.
"I'll have my men meet you in the garden," Jake said to her when she spoke of training. "I don't think I'm up for it just now, sadly enough." He turned and slipped into Tyki's room, then pulled Tyki to him and explained what was going on before pushing him out the door, saying, "Take my place, okay?"
Tyki looked completely confused as Jake pushed him out, but he knew how badly Jake needed to sleep so he tried to be as diplomatic as he could. Jake would just have to be the one to deal with Niko and that servant under the bed...
"Uh, so... hi," Tyki said, looking around to see what was going on.

“Oh, I didn’t know we had guests…” A young woman stood at the end of the hall, dressed in white with light hair that ran down her back in lilac wisps. Her skin was pale and delicate, almost glowing in the light from the windows. An easy smile upon pale lips was directed at the group in the hall and was complimented by surprisingly crimson-hued eyes.
“My apologies, I did not mean to interrupt you all from what you were doing.” She curtsied politely. “My name is Ania Grandall. Very nice to meet you all.”
Ania’s eyes scanned over each face closely.
The first landed on a Favorite, Damien Pride. He seemed rather flustered about something…
The next was his slave next to him, and another blond haired girl with crimson eyes as well. Had he taken another slave? She would not be that surprised. It would be common behavior among favorites.
After them her eyes landed on the soldier guard, just now pulling the Favorite, Tyki, out of his room and escaping in haste. Tyki seemed rather confused at the sudden changes, but who would not be?
The crimson iris landed next on the pair of new comers. One a rather tall and lean man with fair hair and a well-built body. Next to him was someone much smaller and petite, with a crown on top of her head. After first glance it looked like a young boy, but closer showed the beginnings of a female figure.
Ania smiled at them kindly after she finished studying them in her brisk second. “I’m a resident of the estates here in the castle grounds. Foolish of me to reside here and not know of special guests.”
She smiled politely at the petite woman and man beside her. “May I know your names?”

Rei tilted her head up, gasping as she saw Damien L. leaning dangerously close to Damien P. Her hand’s rolled into fists as she tried to control herself. Rei gritted her teeth, she felt like Damien L. was trying to pick a fight with her. If he wanted to challenge her then why not ask her why do all this? Rei stepped forward towards the two Damien’s, but stopped herself. Vitani, the Queen ordered Damien L. to stop. At first Rei thought that the man wouldn’t stop, but in the end he let go of Damien and stepped back. Glaring at Damien P. Rei stepped back, beside Jake. Oh how much she wanted to pound Damien L.’s face right now. Rei felt like she was losing her composer. She watched the Vitani and Damien L. talk. Holding a sigh, she glanced at Damien P. Averting her eyes before he caught her staring. Rei crossed her arms across her chest, with an impatient look she watched the two continue their conversation in private. Finally Vitani spoke, but her speech was directed at Jake. Rei looked at Damien L., locking her eyes with his she glared at him menacingly. Her ears perked up as she caught a few phrases of what Vitani was telling Jake. A smirk crossed her face…”I want to train as well.” Rei spoke up. She’s going to have with her punching bag today. Rei turned to speak to Jake only to see that he wasn’t by her side anymore. She looked around and spotted him slipping into the room. She guessed why he went in there. A moment later Tyki stepped out the room, the confusion on his face was clear. “Oh…uh. Hey.” Rei mumbled.

The group was interrupted by a woman, with amethyst hair. Rei stayed quiet as the woman introduced herself. She was dazzled by her beauty and elegance. Her voice was low and melodic as she spoke. She was wearing a white filly dress, that showed off her pale shoulders, with matching gloves and ribbon in her hair. She looked somewhat familiar...Rei frowned and closed her eyes. Going through her memories trying to find the amethyst haired woman. "Ah." Rei murmured. Rei had seen the woman before. It was around the time when she taken to her third master, the one who had done most of the damage on her. A week later Rei had left her room to go to the restroom, she had passed her "masters" bedroom when she heard a small pleading squeal that sounded like her master. Curious she opened the door a little and peeked inside only to see her master get brutally slaughtered. The woman that had murdered him had lavender hair, just like the woman that Rei was staring at now. Although the faces looked the same the expression of the murderer was more...evil. The Ania now looked more angelic. Rei was somewhat glad to meet the woman again. Partially because she was the one who took out her master, she hated and despised him. "I'm Rei." She spoke up.

Eliza jerked away from Damien as soon as he let go her. Glaring at the man as spoke. Quickly wiping her clothes, and straightening herself Eliza glanced over at the group again. Well, aren’t they having fun… she thought sarcastically. Her eyes drifted to the white-haired man, as he stepped in front silver haired one. Eliza rolled her eyes as the white-haired one leaned in close to the silver haired one, she rolled her eyes as she saw that the white-haired one was touching Damien’s leg. “Wow…” Eliza muttered. She getting tired of this act. She knew she couldn’t go anywhere, so she moved away from the two, and near the wall so she could lean against it. Not-interested in the group’s activities, Eliza lifted one of arms examining her finger nails.
From what seemed a long 10 minutes the group talked about something that Eliza was interested in for the moment. Training. She figured that if Niko was busy in the room with some random girl that he had found underneath the bed, she might as well train with someone stronger. “I would like to join as well.” Eliza piped In as the Queen asked the others if they wanted to join.

Ania's crimson eyes turned to one who spoke up and landed on the young lady by Damien's side. She smiled at her. "Nice to meet you, Rei." She stepped forward and walked over to the girl, holding a hand out for her to shake.
The girl seemed family, somewhere... Oh, yes! That was it. She remembered seeing her around the house she paid a "visit" to once before. It was surprising to see Rei there once again.
Hm. Hopefully she wouldn't recognize her. That would cause a bit of a problem...
For now her eyes were still gentle and kind. "Are you enjoying yourself here in the castle? I can only assume how long you must have been in the dungeons... Sir Damien is your master, am I correct?" She glanced at Damien P near them before looking back to Rei again.
Small talk. Did wonders for the impressions.

Rei smiled back at Ania, taking her hand to shake it. Rei nodded her head as she asked if Damien was her master. She decided to thank her Ania later about killing her abusive master. She didn’t want to say anything in front of the whole group. “I didn’t know you lived in the Castle. Do you know the King Personally, or something?” Rei asked politely as she stepped away from the group, or rather Damien. She fiddled with her hands and looked over at Vitani, hoping that she would call Rei and whoever else wanted to train. It wasn’t like she felt uncomfortable with Damien P. it was more of an awkward situation. Fiddling with her fingers, she found herself being shy again. God... Rei closed her eyes trying to bring out the more wilder side, but unfortunatly she couldn't. Sighing, she once again felt defeated. She was thanking Vitani in her head for sending Damien L. away. She didn't want him to see her weaker side. God knows what he might have done.

Ania laughed softly, a bell-like sound that echoed through the hall. "Something like that," she said, smiling and winking once playfully. Truthfully she was hired as a stay-in... working by the King himself. She was given a salary, and much more than her previous jobs really gave her.
Besides, in his interest, it helped find new slaves to bring to the castle. What better to find good slaves that had horrible owners and were being put to waste? Besides, if the owners suddenly died of a horrid accident, it was the King's decision to figure out what to do with the slaves. They fell under his territory.
Ania? She simply helped the whole process along.
The fair young woman let go of Rei's hand with a soft smile on her rosey lips. "I'm glad you're enjoying yourself. You're a lucky one, to be chosen by a Favorite and treated so well."
Ania brushed a strand of hair from her face to have it fall right back into place. Well, what could one do? Sometimes things could just not be helped...
