Ameril turned her head as Laura returned and smiled. "So? How did it go?"

When Laura heard Ameril ask how it went and gave a smile "It went good." she replied keeping the sight of Damien's wound to herself.

"Good." She said with another smile. "A couple of men came by to talk about getting us to my home. They said they just need two more days to prepare at the most, but may be ready to leave tomorrow morning. Depending on how their healers are doing." Ameril offered a small shrug as she spoke before she turned her eyes to the now sleeping Kai. He had leaned back at some point to look at the two women and, from there, had leaned back again and fallen asleep with his head tilted backwards.

Laura listened to Ameril tell about a couple possible escorts and gave a smile. She laughed a bit as she saw Kai fell back asleep.

Ameril clapped her hands together, watching Kai twitch in his seat and stand up. "Kai, I think we should go around town for some supplies. All four of us. Relax a little bit before we go." Kai grumbled, running a hand over his tired face. "Why." He looked at the two, as if trying to figure out what they were talking about.

Laura heard Ameril's plan for all four of them to go to town to get supplies and wondered why as well 'I do need some more bandages...' she thought.

Ameril frowned at Kai's response. "Well, it'd be nice to have a few hours with those I care about without worrying that someone was about to kill us." Kai blinked, as if confused, and glanced towards Ameril. He quickly looked away, though, when their eyes locked for a moment. His cheeks seemed to flush and he shoved his hands in to his pockets. He had been so tired the previous night that he hadn't even removed his shoes. "I'll be downstairs. Maybe they have something to keep me awake for a while." He barely spoke over a mumble as he walked away from them and down the stairs.

Laura watched Kai's responce to Ameril's answer before mumbling about getting something downstairs to wake himself up and leaving the room. She had noticed a flush on his cheeks when he looked at Ameril and gave a smile 'Looks like someone is being admired.' she thought to herself.

Ameril watched Kai leave, then clapped her hands together and smiled. "When Damien returns and is ready, we'll leave. For now, I will head downstairs and see if there are any interesting sights in the town" She skipped a few steps before leaving the room.

Shortly after, Damien entered. He sat down on his bed, sighing softly as he retrieved Kai's bag and a new shirt. He cleaned the wound and started to wrap it before looking to Laura. "Can you help me? I can't... reach around."

"Alright." said Laura with a smile after hearing Ameril and watched her leave the room. She showed concern when Damien returned and gave a nod when he asked for help. Shethen started to carefully help cover his wound in a bandage "Ameril wants all of us to go to town together." she started "She wants to spend a few more moments before returning home." she explained.

Damien tugged his shirt over his head as soon as Laura was done. "I suppose it couldn't hurt. It'll be nice for all of us to be together." He shrugged slightly and stood from the bed. "How do you feel about it? Think we can survive a day out and about with those two?"

Laura gave "I think were far from surving them." she said with a laugh "We all traveled this far together so one more day would not hurt." she said and held his hand with a gentle smile.

"I suppose not." Damien said as he gave her hand a gentle squeeze and walked out with her. Ameril had taken a seat by the bar, half of a sandwich in her hands, and Kai stood near her, rubbing at his eyes as he ate the other half. "So," he said as he walked towards the two, "are we just wandering around today or is there a plan?" Ameril grinned and nodded, but motioned to her lips as if to say it was a secret.
